In April 2008, Nick Griffin and Simon Darby lost the first two parts of the case against Kenny Smith, Nicholla Smith, Steve Blake, Ian Dawson etc.

The third and final part was continued. However since then Griffin and Darby have tried every trick in the book, and indeed continue to invent new ways of delaying proceedings, to prevent the case they instigated at the Party's expense coming to trial.

Sadly for them, but happily for those who want to see justice done and the truth finally revealed in full, the trial has been fixed to start on Monday the 29th November 2010 at Newcastle High Court.

Kenny, Nicholla, Steve and Ian are all looking forward to their days in court and finally being able to expose Griffin and his cabal for what they are!

Membership List Leak – A Response

It is unfortunate that a response has to be made regarding the disgusting accusations emanating from the lie filled mouth of Nick Griffin, yet in order to set the record straight we feel that a response is indeed necessary.

Firstly we would like to point out that the publication of the BNP membership list is a treacherous act which will have repercussions for the entire Party and nationalism in general. Whoever has done this should be utterly ashamed of their spiteful actions. Whatever the reasons for the publication of the list, ordinary BNP members should not have to suffer because of the crass incompetence, flawed personality and arrogance of the Party Leader.

The BNP website carries an “urgent update” from the BNP leader, Nick Griffin. This update blatantly accuses those involved in the December 2007 dispute, which had its source concern expressed by several leading Party members and senior officials over the disgraceful protection by the Chairman of two individuals who had brought and continue to bring the Party into disrepute and heap embarrassment through their incompetence, immaturity and selfish behaviour. Griffin, a man who like so many contemptible politicians can be detected lying when his mouth open’s hardly conceals his ill-founded and thoroughly false suspicions that Kenny Smith, the previous Head of Administration, of being responsible for the publication. This is a disgrace and a downright lie. None of the six people involved in the April 2007 court case want to see the BNP suffer at all. Moreover, they certainly do not want to see the thoroughly decent members and activists suffer at the hands of filthy communist scum. Seeing Nick Griffin get his deserved comeuppance is one thing, harming the Party is completely different. Neither Kenny Smith, nor any of the other co-defendants who Griffin and Darby took to court leaked/published the database.

Nick Griffin has clearly landed himself in very hot water by alleging that the publication of the list proves ‘Contempt of Court’. He says that the web host’s legal department has been contacted by the BNP and that the BNP are liaising with their solicitors about how to use this against the six defendants in the ongoing court action.
We would dearly like to see the BNP find out who did this and we would like to see them brought to book. When the real culprit is found we will be expecting a full public apology from Griffin, with damages for the smearing of our names.

In reality, the publication of the membership lists simply shows the contempt in which Griffin holds the BNP membership. By allowing gross inefficiencies in BNP departments (which was the main reason behind the December crisis whereby sickened national officials could not take any more incompetence from two departments and were sacked for speaking out) Griffin is to blame. The fact that up to a dozen (possibly more?) people may have, or have had a full database is bad enough when the database is the BNP’s prize asset. However, the real problem is that Nick Griffin has such a terrible record for falling out with senior BNP officials who criticise him in any way that the list of his enemies is seemingly endless. Because of the way in which Griffin treats those who have given their all for the BNP, he creates a rod for his own back in that some people (in this case misguidedly) may do things which damage the BNP in an attempt to attack Griffin himself.

Further, the rather arrogant way in which the BNP web team and Griffin himself dismiss the membership leak as ‘a publicity bonus’ is truly shocking when you consider that many members and activists with a sensitive job have now been exposed to violent communist bully boys and their backers at Searchlight and UAF. We have already had calls from people who have had such threatening calls and our sympathies go out to them. For Griffin to brush this off, and to wrongly claim that ‘former employees’ were to blame is beneath contempt. Griffin has once again shown just how little he really thinks of the everyday BNP member.

We suggest that the Party Chairman:

1.) Immediately apologises to the six court defendants (who have never been found guilty of anything despite the malicious Griffin/Darby prosecution) and to Kenny Smith in particular.

2.) Actually contacts Dyfed-Powys Police rather than just pretending so, in order to start the ball rolling as to who did actually leak the list.

3.) Actually contacts the web host’s legal department and gets them to shut down the offending websites.

4.) Starts to act in the interests of the members and not operate once more in a zone of self-survival which leads to utter contempt for the feelings of the average BNP member.

The party is full of a lot of lemmings that think Nick Griffin/ Mark Collett are some sort of 'Gods' in the making. I suppose when you surround yourself with lemmings it is easy to fall into the trap of thinking that you are the greatest person who walked the earth.

I had a person that wanted some answers with regard to the parties constitution. I didn't have a copy so I thought I would contact other officials for advice or to obtain a copy. The first person I contacted was Mark Collett who said he has never seen a copy and wouldn't know where to get one from. In the end he suggested that I contacted Nick Griffin as at the end of the day he was the one who wrote it.

Before I went that far up the official line I thought I would contact the deputy party leader, Simon Darby. His words on the subject were why do you want it? Just tell him to "F*$k Off!" He is only a 'red' trying to wind you up!"

I could add more to this but I will only be called a 'Red' or a 'Traitor'. Would I recommend joining the BNP? As it stands with the current lineup it would be a resounding NO! If the party changes its current team leadership and how its run then Yes! Only time will tell if the party changes for the better as currently it is stuck in the dark ages."

Lee Barnes is sent packing

There is some welcome news to report in that the main BNP website no longer carries a link to the deranged ramblings of the blog run by Lee John Barnes, the self titled BNP Legal Eagle.

The link was removed in the past few days, yet the main question is whether it was Griffin himself who ordered it to be removed, or as is far more likely, was it Simon Bennett the current web-editor who chose to do so? As Mr. Bennett appears to be a lot more rational and certainly more decent than Griffin, it would appear that Simon had simply had enough of the embarrassment caused by the joke 'legal adviser'.

Not only does the blog contain vile language and personal insults that can't be backed up in fact, Lee has also come up with these precious beauties:

There will be a second coming of Christ in 2012 - it is all in the stars!
Islam is not a threat to the West and any nationalist who suggests otherwise is speaking non-sense and in the eyes of Lee Barnes, may not even be a nationalist
Those people that support internal democracy in the BNP are all traitors (though he does not mention traitors to Great Britain so we can assume he means to Gri££in himself)
And let us not forget this piece of exceptional musical critique regarding Lee's top gigs ever!: Blind Melon Reading Festival 1995 - a week later the lead singer Shannon Hoon died of a heroin overdose. You could tell he was high on stage as he kept throwing the microphones into the ceiling rigging then snapping them, but what a show. A real classic performance.

We have been saying for a long time that Griffin surrounds himself with idiots and that this will be his downfall. It seems that Griffin has come to realise that Lee Barnes is nothing more than a complete and utter embarrassment for British Nationalism - yet this may be too late.

It also seems strange than when something big develops, Barnes is all over it like a rash spewing forth bile against good nationalists, like a kid who has just spat out his dummy and yet still no-one wants to listen to him or take him seriously. However, a few days later, after about 3 or 4 hate filled articles, he seems to shut up shop completely and go back to writing that anyone who may think that Islam or Zionism are a threat to the West is not a nationalist, and that the best gigs are those where the lead singer is junkie scum. What a strange world Lee Barnes lives in!

The treehouse rules - with apologies to the estate of the late Enid Blyton

The atmosphere in the secret den in the treehouse was electric. Peter was in a foul mood.
"Oh whatever is the matter?" asked Janet

"It's that beastly oik from up north. He wants to become leader of the gang" replied Peter, sporting a brand new pair of elegant shiny black brogues which gave a slight squeak as he was pacing up and down with a frown.

"Oh no, not Cedric AGAIN, he is SO rude and SO poor" quipped Jack

"Yes, he doesn't go to a proper school like we do, he wears his father's hand-me-downs instead of flannels, brogues and a smart cap like we have do" added Colin

"Oh crikeys hand-me-downs, what a tramp" chipped in George, his queer accent suggesting he had come over from the colonies. "I'll wager he isn't even a boarder and has to go home each night to his hovel."

"A hovel without a bath" said Pam, holding her nose pretending to be offended by a nasty smell.
"And eat nothing but potatoes and cabbage" suggested Barbara

"Potatoes and cabbage" echoed the others as they roared with laughter,

"Woof woof" added Scamper.

The only person who wasn't laughing was Peter the leader of the Seven.

"No, shut up" Peter shouted, stamping his foot robustly. "No, no, no, Cedric is so very last year. Someone else wants to run the treehouse. Just when things were going so jolly well for us all. I mean we've got a jolly nice new treehouse now with a lovely larder. We have solved the mystery of the London Mayor and got lots of money from that case. We have added to our stash of equipment for all our secret missions and we have many new pairs of eyes to help us fight the forces of wickedness. Things have never been so good. Some peasant called Stan wants to take over and ruin all the good work we have done. He says he wants to change the rules of the treehouse to make it more open, wants to encourage new talent and wants to bring in those rotten rascals we kicked out of the club last year."

"Oh yuk" exclaimed Colin, "that sounds rather beastly. We don't want those rotters back in the club, they did say some ghastly things about me, they didn't like me being in charge of the store of invisible ink and postcards and the stamps we put on the postcards when we have to send secret messages to our spies in the field."

Peter looked on approvingly as Colin gave his comments. Was it his confident manner, the way he can always find the right word at just the right time, the way he gesticulated to reinforce his point, thought Peter, that boosted his spirits every time they met? Was it the way he groomed himself immaculately, the fresh smell he always exuded, the amusing choice of undergarments that was against school rules he saw Colin wearing when they were changing for rugger practice, or was there something else which both gave instant pleasure yet deeply disturbed Peter?

Peter was snapped out of his musings by Janet. They were supposed to be an item Janet and Peter but Peter would rather just get on solving mysteries and battling the forces of wickedness instead of being with a soppy girl all the time.

"Oh yuk," agreed Janet, "they were just beastly scroundels, very rude about my lovely Peter as well weren't they Peter dear. They said my lovely Peter was a bully and helped himself to money in the cashbox."

"Oh no, Stan, that's a really common name. Daddy has got a gardener called Stan, he has dirty fingers and wear overalls all the time and he smokes" pipped up Pam.

"I don't want a boy called Stan taking over the treehouse especially one who wants to open up the treehouse" said Barbara throwing Scamper a biscuit. "I want you to stay as leader Peter, forever and ever, you are the best ever Peter".

"So we need to come up with a plan" said Peter. "We must stop Stan from taking over the treehouse and throwing us out of the club".

"Yes" added Janet, "Let's open the ginger beer and the sandwiches and think hard to come up with a plan"

"Capital idea" said Jack diving for the ginger beer bottles, "I need a drink."

"Jack, you look after the money, so come on pray tell us, how much do we have" instructed Peter.

"Well chaps,.err.. bit sorry to say I don't really know. I've bally well gone and lost the key to the cashbox and well I think..oh dear, uhmm..oh dear I'm sorry you lot, I think I've lost the cashbox as well". He hung his head avoiding the expected onslaught of outrage.

"Oh no, you stupid idiot" chorused the other six together.

"Sorry" squirmed Jack and buried his face in his hands.

Silence reigned in the treehouse for several minutes as the Seven thought hard what they should do now. First the terrible news that Stan wanted to take over the treehouse and then Jack's admission he had lost the entire savings of the club.

"Jack. Don't be so upset old friend" said Colin, "I've remembered. A few days ago we had that jolly lemonade party and you brought that gorgeous girl Natasha, the one you met at the Pony Club Ball, you brought her back to our other den in your pater's garden shed. Well you definitely had the cashbox with you in your saddle bag on your bicycle. I remember you showing it to me. You said it was very safe in there and no one would find it".

"Oh how jolly stupid of me to forget" beamed Jack. "Oh course Natasha, she was helping me with my maths revision. I'll head over to the shed and find that dashed cashbox in the saddle bag. You chaps keep thinking about how we deal with Stan and I'll be back quick as a flash." Jack opened the trapdoor in the base of the treehouse and climbed down to begin his hunt for the cashbox. He thought how jolly capital it was having a chum like Colin who could always remember the very things Jack could so easily forget. He really liked having Colin as his friend.

"Could we just tell Stan we don't want him because he smells and we can't understand what he says half the time because he doesn't speak properly" suggested an earnest Barbara.

"Just not poss old girl" said Peter, himself thinking hard. "There are so many people like Stan who cannot speak the Queen's English properly. You see not everyone has parents who can afford to send their children to the kind of school we go to. We might not like the way these people talk and have to hold our noses because of their awful stink of boiled cabbages and beans. We have recruited lots of new spies to help us in our quest to defeat wickedness so I must be seen to be fair and not upset these jolly useful new spies even if they do smell a bit off and speak very queer."

It was George who came up with an answer. George was the newest member of the gang of seven and he had arrived at their school from another school a long way away. He spoke with an accent some of his chums thought jolly funny but was really very jolly clever and always came top of the class. The other boys would always go to George if they needed help with their prep. When the other boys were larking about in the cricket nets and jumping and throwing things on the sports field, George was pouring over books in the school library. George greatly impressed the other boys with his tales of big game, shooting rhinos and elephants and how he had seen men and women who he said were real live Hottentots. The other boys could only dream of such adventures, Hottentots and big game were the stuff of Saturday morning films at the town playhouse.

Peter could rely on George to have an answer for any problem and was really a jolly useful chum to have in the Club. George said he was jolly good chums with a lot of detectives and that helped the Secret Seven solve all sorts of mysteries and have spiffing adventures in the hols.

"Peter, I can't remember seeing the rules of the club. We must have some rules. If we don't have rules it all falls apart. If we don't have rules - why the poor children down in the village, those poor people in their hovels would take over the treehouse and steal our lemonade and kidnap Scamper here".

"Oh no.."shrieked a horrified Barbara tossing another biscuit to her faithful golden spaniel "not Scamper, please no..."

"Oh stop grizzling you silly girl" shouted Peter, his temper still not completely reformed.

"Yes George of course we have rules. We wrote them down years ago. Any of our new team of helpers can just ask to see the rules to make sure they don't come in and steal our spying equipment, drink our stash of pop and eat all our chocolate bars, squat in our treehouse and ruin everything."

"Good can I see them please" asked George. "I can't come up with a brilliant wheeze unless I see the rules can I?"

"Barbara, you are the secretary of the Club, where do you keep the rules"? enquired Peter.

"Uhm..err..well. I thought you had them Peter" Barbara sheepishly replied.

"NO I don't" shouted Peter with rage. "I wonder how we ever manage to get anything done. Jack loses our cashbox, you lose the rules, I despair I really do, you are all so useless. Except you George oh and you Colin, I didn't mean you are ever useless."

George smiled in his usual way and silently licked his lips.

"Sorry" the others shouted in chorus. "woof woof" barked Scamper.

"Here you are chaps" shouted a delighted Jack as he popped his head in through the trap door. He hauled himself in and sat down. I've got the cashbox here. I think I deserve a drink for that, pass me the ginger beer Janet there's a good girl."

She handed him a bottle of pop from which he took a great whoosh of the cold fizzy liquid.

"Jolly good Jack, so how much is there in our funds? We can't go on fighting wickedness without being able to hop on the omnibuses and trains and buying invisible ink and postcards and stamps to put on the postcards without a fighting fund" said Peter.

Jack tried pulling open the cashbox from the lid. He felt in all his pockets. His face was growing redder and redder. "Oh dear sorry chaps. I've only just gone and lost the key."

"Don't worry old fellow" chimed in a helpful Colin, "my guess is that it must have fallen out of your pockets when you climbed the tree to get back in."

"Oh no, you stupid idiot" chorused the other five.

"Well you had better go and look for it" fumed Peter

"Oh don't be cross with me everyone" Jack shouted back as he descended through the trapdoor to begin his hunt for the lost key.

"So we don't know where the rules are" said George. The others nodded in agreement.

"Well, gives me an idea."

"Oh please George let's hear it, you are the clever one" said Janet

"Well if we don't have a copy of the rules, then the answer is very simple, we make up the rules".

The others gasped at the capital simplicity of the idea.

"You see" George went on, "We just write down the new rules so that Stan the oik cannot stand as a candidate against Peter. We write the rules to say whatever we want. We write the rules so that Peter can stay leader of the club forever and ever. We write the rules so that no one else can come into the treehouse unless we invite them in and then they must not drink our stash of pop, help themselves to our larder of biscuits and chocolate bars."

The others gasped once again as they took in the stunning simplicity of it all.

"Can we have a rule that no one can feed Scamper except me and Pam" said Barbara as she nuzzled her rosy cheeked face into Scamper's fur.

"Woof woof" barked Scamper approvingly.

"Barbara dear girl, the beauty of my plan is that we can write anything we want."

"Actually, George" quipped a very happy Peter, "you mean anything I want", adding heavy emphasis on the word "I".

"Yes yes of course" chorused the other five, "anything YOU want".

"Here you go, I've found it" shouted Jack scampering back into the treehouse.
"Right now, once and for all how much do we have to buy our invisible ink and our postcards and stamps to put on the postcards?" asked Peter

Jack fumbled with the key, turned it in the lock of the cashbox and pulled the lid. It opened.

"Gosh it looks rather full" said Pam sitting next to Jack.

"Splendid news" said Peter already thinking of their next mission, the masterly plan to defeat the boss of a criminal gang based in Brussels. That would take a lot of money.

"Ah, well, look chaps don't get angry with me. Err.you see the cashbox is full. Take a look for yourselves" ..as he turned the box around so the others could see inside and see the bundles of paper in the cashbox."but I'm sorry to say ...err..they are all IOUs, look there's one here from Barbara - IOU 5 shillings for Scamper's biscuits.

"Scamper looked in a very sad state last week" replied Barbara, her voice showing she was close to tears. "I bought him some extra biscuits to cheer him up."

"You stupid girl" roared Peter pushing Barbara over the edge into a flood of tears. "You jolly well know you can't just help yourself to the money in the cashbox. Jack has to give you permission for that."

"There is one here from Janet, an IOU 4 shillings and threpence for Boots the Chemist, it doesn't say what it is for".

"Janet, you jolly well know you can't just help yourself to the money in the cashbox. Jack has to give you permission for that. What was it for?"

"Uhmm, err, I'd rather not say, It's private, a girl's thing, you wouldn't understand" replied Janet biting her lip so she wouldn't blush.

"It was dated last Tuesday, the day before the Pony Club Ball" said Jack.

"Probably some make-up" suggested Colin, "that's a girl's thing."

"Lacy knickers said Jack, a line of dribble forming down the right side of his mouth "they are very much a girl's thing".

"You're being horrid Jack" shouted Janet, "just shut up you rotten beastly boy you."

"Yes get on with the job Jack, what are all these other bits of paper" instructed Peter.

"Pam has one here, 10 shillings and sixpence from Smith's bookshop".

"Comics I bet" quipped Colin, "Pam can only read comics."

"No they were not comics, you rotten liar, they were proper books, educational books. But don't worry Daddy will pay it back with interest. My daddy can buy every book in Smiths if he wants to" Pam assured the others.

"One from Colin, 3 guineas and 17 shillings for a million postcards".

The others gasped. Scamper growled.

"Quiet" roared Peter, "it is very obvious that Colin was doing something very special here. Gosh, a million postcards for just 3 guineas and 17 shillings. That sounds like a very good bargain to me. But I have to admit that 1 million is a lot of postcards. Come on Colin spill the beans old chap, it must be a roaring idea."

"Well I am not one to go around blowing my trumpet as you know but I've been very busy of late, working night and day." Colin answered breezily.

"Splendid, I thought so" approved Peter.

"You see I didn't want everyone else to know about my cunning wheeze, just in case the forces of wickedness got to hear about it. You see we need many more spies to defeat the forces of darkness so I've been up day and night writing thousands of postcards to not just our existing spies but many others. I borrowed the telephone book from pater and I have copied names and addresses of every one in the phone box. I plan to send out a million of these postcards you see to add to our growing ranks of spies who will help us defeat the forces of wickedness."

"What a brilliant idea" said Peter.

"Actually I have to tell you all that it was George's idea all along. The difference between me and George is that George has the brilliant ideas and I just do all the hard work. I don't want any thanks for it. I'm just doing what I know to be right."

"Wizard stuff" said Jack, beaming at his trusty chum.

"Gosh, that really is clever" added Pam. "How many names and addresses have you done so far?" she enquired.

"Why do you want to know that, it's none of your business how many postcards I have written" snapped Colin.

"Oh calm down old chap" said George, Pam has a right to know.

"Actually George, Pam doesn't have a right to know. Do you ask Pam about her work? Stop having a go at Colin on this matter." Peter banged his right fist down on the wooden box he was using as a table.

"No, no, it's perfectly alright, Peter, if Pam is so inquisitive about my work perhaps she would like to give me a hand this evening after supper. We need to get more telephone directories from other towns and villages of course. It's early days but I'm half way through the alphabet..

Gasps all round - "what a hard worker you are old fruit" said Peter

"err no sorry when I said alphabet I really meant to say the letter A." Colin quickly corrected himself

"Well maybe I can see what I can get from the school library. They might just jolly well have telephone directories we can borrow" added an enthusiastic Pam. She liked being asked to do useful work for the Club.

Peter however didn't hear Colin's correction, he was drifting away in thought, it was the spring hols and he was chasing Colin down the lane towards the apple orchard, Colin was just wearing his baggy undergarments printed with the faces of smiling snowmen, fragrant white apple blossom was floating through the air....

"Peter, Peter, hello Peter" it was Jack bringing him back into reality.

"There are.ahem a few here from.. err..you Peter" stammered Jack handing over a bundle of paper.

Peter slipped off the rubber band and looked at each one. "Yes" he answered, "all above board old chap, travel on the omnibus to town, travel to London on the trail of the case of the London Mayor, travel by steamer to see Monsieur Brocard, the Chief Inspector in Calais on various matters. Then I had to pay some of the bigger boys in the sixth form to accompany me down to that place only last month on the case of the kidnapped schoolgirl you know to make sure I wasn't popped off by one of those Johnnies over from Arabia."

"So brave of you dear" chimed in Janet lustfully.

"You...err....didn't......err tell me you were going to be taking money......err....out of the cashbox" trembled Jack, he suddenly felt very queer, his stomach had butterflies.

Peter didn't say anthing but threw Jack a very dark stare which said all that he needed to say.

"So ..err..when can we.err.. get the IOUs repaid Peter" ventured Jack, keeping his fingers crossed underneath the cashbox that Peter wouldn't roar with anger.

Peter was now smiling.

"Well, I've a wheeze of an idea, Colin I know you have done a jolly decent number of your invisible ink postcards but here is a marvellous addition to your idea, can you ask the person to send in some money so we can continue to fight the forces of wickedness. The Secret Seven needs your help, you can make a difference, don't leave it to someone else. That kind of thing".

"Gosh it's simply splendid to have such a clever leader" murmured Barbara.

"I'm jolly well on the case already" replied Colin in his confident manner.

"Well what's left" enquired Peter.

"Just a couple more"

"What's this" asked Peter picking out a half dozen remaining bits of paper.

"Cherryade, lemonade, ginger beer, dandelion and burdock, cream soda. This looks like a drinks bill from the man from Corona" said Peter. "Jack, what have you gone and done, you know we already have our own suppliers, Mummy and Daddy get the housekeeper to order our supplies. Where did all this go? It looks enough to refresh a small army of our spies."

"Err, yes, that's it, treating our spies.. yes, well..err., no actually, I'll be honest, Sorry, just that I felt like a drink and so stopped the man in the Corona lorry when he came through the village last weekend. It was jolly hot..err a very hot day, just needed a drink that's all. I'll pay it all back soonest..I err..promise."

"Don't worry old bean" Colin leaned over and patted his good friend Jack on the shoulder "I'll help you pay the bill. You know I've got some of my trust fund coming through jolly soon. You have nothing to worry about."

"Oh cor thanks, what a terrific chum you are" said Jack.

The ‘Constitution of the British National Party’ has long since been removed from the Party website in typical dictatorial fashion. It has not been reprinted or been made available to the membership for at least two years now either.

We are all aware that under Nick Griffin the British National Party has made some positive inroads into local politics. However, many Party officials and members have realised that the time has come for a fresh and democratic structure.

Change is needed to take the British National Party forward onto serious electoral success. A structure that will give priority to making sure that the BNP is financially solvent, politically astute, credible and electable, truly represents family values in everything that it does and maintains democratic management of the Party in a fair and transparent manner.

Councillor Colin Auty will be standing this coming summer as the leadership contender representing reform and change of the BNP. Colin was elected as a District Councillor onto Kirklees Council back in May 2006 and has proved to be an extremely hard working BNP Councillor.

Colin is married with two daughters and believes that the time is right for important changes to be made within the British National Party for it to become a serious challenger in elections and for the future of this country.

Colin has gained a great deal of experience into the inner workings of a local council, especially as he currently sits on various committees including Planning and Health.

Many of you will know Colin through his involvement in Great White Records and his latest album ‘Truth Hurts’ has sold more copies than any other artist from GWR. Colin is a very well respected and popular councillor, activist and artist within the BNP. He regularly tours the country speaking at meetings and singing to help groups raise vital funds.

Constitutional Change & Internal Reforms

The BNP at present has a great deal of potential which is simply not utilised to its full extent and this is largely because the current leadership runs the party in a very dictatorial manner. These are just some of the reforms that should be implemented:

* The Party Chairman should deal with the political affairs of the Party, but a separately appointed Party Manager should manage the internal affairs.

* Scrutiny Panel of regionally elected officials to scrutinise the inner workings of the Party, who everyone is accountable to.

* The establishment of an Executive, Judiciary and Political Wing of the Party.

* A Shadow Cabinet to set up specialist policy departments.

* A Working Party to be set up to scrutinise and re-draft the BNP Constitution which at present gives sole power and control to the Party Chairman.

* Total financial overhaul of the Party, reallocating the power of the National Treasurer to a professional chartered accountant.

* All office holders should be made fully accountable.

* Far more support for all of our Councillors.

* A review of all those expelled due to lack of a fair and proper disciplinary procedure being in place.

* A concerted effort to target the seriously damaging negative image that surrounds the BNP.

Help the Family Defence Appeal

On the 14th of March at Manchester High Court the current BNP Chairman Nick Griffin launched proceedings against six expelled BNP officials. Mr. Griffin is taking civil legal action against Steve Blake, former web editor; Ian Dawson, former Group Support Officer; Sadie Graham, former Head of Group Development; Matt Single, former Security Training Officer; Kenny Smith, former Head of Administration and Nicholla Smith, former Head of Excalibur operations. Mr. Griffin is claiming that items held by the defendants have not been returned to the Party. He is also claiming misuse of BNP membership lists. He is also seeking damages to a maximum of �50,000.

Because the proceedings are now sub judice we are not at liberty to publish any further details of the proceedings.

Challenge

The defendants are all challenging this vexatious action and invite BNP members to question whether this is good use of the hard won funds of the Party. Mr. Griffin seems prepared to gamble thousands of pounds of donors' money in an act of spite and revenge.

The most obvious comment is that the Party leadership has managed to bring loyal party activists to court for alleged misuse of Party data while refusing to do so when such proven misuse was carried out by the real enemies of the Party.

Guardian journalist Ian Cobain got away with exposing Simone Clarke as a BNP member in 2007. Andy Sykes passed dozens perhaps even hundred of names and addresses on to left-wing organisations, some of whom wrote to the BNP members. No action was taken against Sykes or his BBC accomplice, Jason Gwynne.

Members could well ask why this is the case? Could it be that the VoC people are seen as a soft touch, lacking the financial "clout" of The Guardian, the BBC or the Trade Unions?

Or is Mr. Griffin under instruction to do this?

Whatever the reasoning behind this decision the contrast between his lack of action against the establishment media and the VoC members has been noted.

It is a Nationalist - specifically - Pro-British Nationalism community. If you object or are offended by the concept of a European having a Nationalist domestic or world view; you are dutifully advised to avoid this site.

Such users' accounts will be summarily deleted without prior notification. New registrations are expected to make at least an introduction post within 2 weeks of registration.

North West Voice of Change Meeting

Northwest, Wednesday 27th February 2008

An update meeting was arranged in Blackburn to discuss the ongoing protest and to agree a way forward in the region.

In attendance were representatives from the following BNP units: Tameside, Stockport, Wigan, Blackburn, Preston and Lancaster, Manchester, Oldham and Bury. 42 people were in attendance.

Preamble:

Dave Jones chaired the meeting, and set out the political precedence of party activists resigning their positions when they disagree with their party. It is a long standing tradition in politics to resign in protest – members of the cabinet have done this more prominently, and it is considered a badge of honour in some circles. So it would seem that instead of throwing their hands up in disgust and walking away from unresolved issues, Kenny, Sadie and Steve were doing no more than any other politician in terms of protest.

Additionally, it is well known that various pressure groups exist within political parties – and these use their group to try and sway party policy – indeed these are the very groups that bring about political debate at party conferences. The existence of a pressure group within the BNP merely acts as a signal that the political activists are at a level of maturity which needs proper management.

Update:

Bev Jones then gave a brief outline of the events leading to the raids and expulsions in December.

“In my opinion the setting up of the blog by Kenny Smith was the end result of a long line of failed discussions, and was a step taken as a last resort. Problems between advisory council members had been ongoing for some time, and complaints about the treasury department were the most pressing issue. While I personally had a few errors to solve with treasury, and I know of other units who had a similar situation, none of these seemed severe. However, if you consider that Sadie and Ian Dawson would have had to field a myriad of complaints about this issue, then you see a different level of problems arise.

Whatever frictions have built up around the day to day problems, and the many reports, accusations and slurs that have arisen out of the disastrous sacking and raids, it is quite clear that the BNP would not be in a position to run a government, or even a local council.

Without proper procedures, fair disciple and an inclusive approach to the party membership, we will not succeed. The BNP has the right policies, and the right mindset for the running of the country, but we must get our stall in order before we can get any further. The party can not be run with a schoolboy bully attitude and giving jobs to the boys (or the drinking club) – it just does not work.”

Proposal:

Bev presented copies of the Voice of Change party structure for perusal. This is an example of how the party could be managed and was similarly rolled out at the VOC Conference in Nottinghamshire. One of the main proposals was for there to be a political figurehead, with the day to day management of the party to be handled by other departments, with the membership deciding who is in charge.

The Voice of Change pressure group will be fighting a leadership contest, with the new structure of the party as the basis of the campaign, and the need for democracy within the ranks as our clear objective.

Way forward:

Charles Mather spoke on what the Wigan group had done as a protest. They do not wish to disband, and will be fighting local elections this May. He advocates we must support local activity – including the London GLA campaign.

Jim Lewthwaite (Bradford BNP) spoke briefly on the management problems at branch level in Yorkshire, and also had some interesting ideas on how to protest.

The floor was open for comment, and the following lines of action were suggested:

ª Funds should be gathered at local level and used at local level – do not support appeals for funding from head office
ª Membership – renew if you wish to vote against Griffin in the leadership contest
ª Engage with other members – attend as many meetings and local activities as possible to talk to ordinary members and explain the problem
ª A National VOC bulletin will soon be written and distributed by email at least once a month– ideally each person can forward them on to as many of their friends and colleagues as possible – this would relieve the postage cost, and spread the work load as well.
ª Use the internet more effectively – the blog and web site need to be maintained.
ª Use Google advertising links to spread the word
ª Candidates – it is up to individuals if they wish to stand under the BNP banner or as Independents on a Nationalist ticket, either way it would be good for people to work locally in their wards.
ª Printing material – since the BNP printers are not being used, a tri-colour Risograph is to be sourced and a central printing office will be set up again.
ª Send donations to Voice of Change or the Family Defence Appeal
ª Do not attend and extraneous BNP activities – i.e. Summer-school, National Socials and RWB – but do go to the conference and complain
ª Pressure local organisers to write a letter of protest to Griffin
ª Cancel ID magazine orders – we are not sure if it actually belongs to the BNP or Collett
ª Reduce orders of VOF
ª Do not sell any merchandise from Great White Records or Excalibur at meetings
ª Wear a VOC badge at all party meetings
ª Talk to everyone you can, any way you can – especially the internet

Please note that the above are not necessarily the views of all the supporters of VOC or the expelled members . These are simply a summary of the points that were raised and discussed at the meeting. Individuals are free to decide if they support these points or not.

The meeting ended with a collection, all together £197 was raised towards Voice of Change.

Paul Cromie shows his true colours

Cllr Paul Cromie has shocked and outraged BNP supporters by sending out an unsolicited and illegal email entitled “King Midas in Reverse – LOL”. The email which was sent out on the 27th February was sent to a host of VOC supporters and BNP members.

The email content is a clipping of a local newspaper report about a six month driving ban for doing 40mph in a 30mph zone that was imposed upon current BNP member and long term activist Dr James Lewthwaite. Not only that but Dr Lewthwaite had until recently been serving as a Councillor for the BNP on Bradford Council. Being caught in a speed camera trap is hardly the crime of the century but Cromie is using anything he can to discredit an extremely well respected, hard-working and dedicated nationalist.

This disgraceful and shocking behaviour by Paul Cromie comes as no real surprise to those who have worked closely with him for some time. The fact that he is willing to try and publicly shame a hard-working BNP activist really shows his true colours and lack of integrity as a nationalist. Cromie has been a big donor to the party and therefore is likely to receive no punishment for his recent slanderous comments. Nick Griffin recently elevated Paul Cromie to the position of Bradford Organiser, supported by newly appointed Yorkshire RO Adrian Marsden. This ridiculous appointment by Griffin just shows his total lack of judgement and is another example of the kind of people that Griffin is surrounding himself with nowadays.

Many people will be aware that a certain senior official within the party and close aide to Nick Griffin also received a six month driving ban for speeding in September 2007. He only attended the summer school because he got someone to give him a lift, yet Paul Cromie didn’t see fit to crow about that particular individual.

Dr Lewthwaite is currently seeking legal advice over the content of the email that was sent out to numerous recipients.

On Wednesday February 27th the Voice of Change will be holding a meeting in Blackburn. In case there are any who do not know Voice of Change is the name given to the organisation of current and past BNP members who believe that the British National Party is poorly managed and in need of reform. The catalyst that brought Voice of Change into existence was the unlawful 'bugging' of Sadie Graham's telephone and the unlawful entry into Sadie Graham's home and the unlawful removal of goods from Sadie Graham's home by BNP security. Also the attempt by BNP security to gain entrance to the home of BNP National Administration Officer, Kenny
Smith against his wishes.

These acts by BNP security followed the expulsion from the BNP of Group development officer Sadie Graham, National Administration officer Kenny Smith , Web Master and nationalist of thirty years standing Steve Blake , Group Support officer, Ian Dawson ,North West Fund Raiser and former North West Regional Organiser Bev Jones and four other prominent B.N.P members at the beginning of December 2007. Since 1999 many very effective and hard working BNP members have been either expelled from the BNP or forced out of the BNP. This repeated 'decapitating' of our party stops it's growth and makes a mockery of the work and sacrifice of BNP members and supporters.

The concern and anger of members over this latest purging of some of our best and most hard working members and the consequent trashing of our work over many years is so great that some one hundred and thirty officers of the party have resigned their positions. Sixty nine made their resignations public : the remainder resigned but chose not to go public with their resignations. The devastation can still be seen by all. Scotland BNP effectively no longer exists, Yorkshire, probably once our best region, is in disarray and the East Midlands has only a few branches still functioning. The North West is badly effected. The new BNP website is less than a shadow of the former professional BNP website that was run by expellee Steve Blake. Recent viewers of the BNP website will have noticed that there are no longer any articles upon regional news detailing units activities. Does this imply that units are now so demoralised that they have stopped working?

It is against this backdrop of disarray that Voice of Change is calling a meeting of concerned North West BNP members and supporters. The objective of the meeting will be to discuss the current problems ,to seek a means of reconciliation between the parties in conflict and to seek a means by which the BNP can be managerially reformed and recommence moving forward. Let no one doubt that this is a big task. But the effort has to be made.

All BNP members and supporters who wish to discuss the problems constructively and without prejudice are welcome to attend. Hecklers and individuals who are bent on causing trouble will not be tolerated in the meeting and will be removed. There will be a range of merchandise on sale.. There will also be a raffle and a collection. This is an important meeting. If you are genuinely interested in the future of the BNP please make sure that you attend.

Ex-Security Officer Vindicated

During June 2007, Adey Wood’s estranged partner made, to me, a number of serious allegations against Adey, one of the allegations being that Adey had made threats to kill Nick Griffin. Though, like others within the BNP, I had great respect for Adey and could not fault his professionalism in his highly responsible BNP duties, and was surprised by the allegations made against Adey, I was in no position to investigate or ignore the threat-to-kill allegations, so I immediately reported the perceived threat to Nick Griffin, who ordered that Adey be instantly dismissed from the BNP. Adey was my personal security officer, attending Group Development meetings with me around the country at no cost or fee to the party. I considered him a good friend and therefore I was not in a position to be able to investigate the claims without bias. Shortly after Adey was dismissed from the BNP, his partner went to the police and made further serious allegations against Adey, resulting in Adey being woken at 2am, arrested in front of his youngest son, held in police custody, closely interrogated for many hours, before being released without charge, some 15 hours later.

Recently I received information and evidence that all the allegations against Adey, made by his estranged partner, are in fact lies created to completely destroy his character, have him kicked out of the BNP, and have him arrested and held in police custody long enough for his partner to try to sell their jointly-held home. I acknowledge that a great injustice has been perpetrated against Adey, and he has graciously accepted my sincere apology to him for being an unwitting pawn of his estranged partners scheming. The police found absolutely no evidence of the claims made by Adey’s estranged partner and he has been given sole custody of their son.

Those people who know Adey will know him to be a very loyal and reliable person, he held a responsible position within BNP security working alongside Matt Single to hold security training weekends. Adey became another victim of injustice within the party. Whilst he maintains on the list of people expelled from the party he will continue to seek his reinstatement as a member and supports a leadership challenge, believing that it is time for Nick Griffin to step down as party leader.

The new Voice of Change website now has a Regional News section up and running now. This is the first step toward replacing this blog with the much more positive and aesthetically pleasing website.

The regional news section is being run by popular former BNP news correspondent Louise Scott. Louise will be working with a host of regional correspondents, but is also keen to receive submissions from those keen to become regular reporters and those who sometimes get passionate enough about a news item they have come across to enough to write about and send it in.

Articles for Regional News as well as reports on nationalist activity in your area, can be sent to Louise at regionalnews@voiceofchange.org.uk. Regional Correspondents can be contacted via the Regional VoC contacts listed on the contacts page.

Other features in the pipeline are a forum, where genuine free speech will be allowed, a merchandise store, and an advertisements section.

Wolverhampton organiser sacked for attending VOC conference

I would like to explain my reasons for not being organiser for the Wolverhampton BNP group anymore. I did not resign, I was stood down by West Midlands RO Simon Darby on Thursday 31st January. This was after he had asked me if I attended the Voice Of Change conference in Brinsley on January 27th . I of course told him that I had and that I fully supported what was proposed on the day.
Although not completely surprised by this, it is still disappointing to be ousted from a position because of supporting what I believe are much needed changes within the party. I did not resign my position earlier because I felt it would be unfair on my small but dedicated team of activists here in Wolverhampton. I had recently ordered a batch of leaflets from the party and was preparing to go full steam ahead for the elections in May. This decision was despite what I can only describe as an 'orgy of idiocy' conducted by the party since that fateful day in December.
I have been the organiser for Wolverhampton since September 2005. This City had been something of a Nationalist black hole for a few decades, no group or branch for the BNP had existed here since the party was formed in 1982. Wolverhampton was, when I joined in 2002, part of the Black Country branch, with focus mainly and unsurprisingly on the actual 'Black Country' and not far away Wolverhampton districts like Tettenhall or Wednesfield.
Despite a small membership in the area I managed to put together a team of activists and put forward a candidate for one ward in the May 2006 council elections. The ward, Wednesfield North, I had specifically chosen and targeted.
We gained 1016 votes, taking 25% of the total vote and only 200 votes behind the winning Conservative candidate. Not bad for a first off. And we rattled some cages, the local MP getting himself worked up about it on the night and on his blog a few days later!
Fast forward to 2007 and we jump to 6 candidates, including an ex Tory councilor. Unfortunately, as across a lot of the country our vote went slightly down in Wednesfield North, but still held up to a respectable 22% . Our new wards also returned good percentages especially Bushbury North.
As far as I know no new organiser has been appointed yet, but I still hope we can carry on the good work here, whoever is in charge.
The events of the past few months have been a shock to me. I could not believe that this party could be so foolish and spiteful. Yes possibly the Mark Collett blog might have seemed wrong to some but when you hear the situation leading up to it could they have done anything else without getting sacked anyway? Why do opponents of VOC keep stating 'nobody is bigger than the party' ? When it is pretty obvious that certain individuals can do pretty much as they please without fear of being held to account the same as anybody else would? Mark Collett for example, with the two highly embarrassing documentaries, not just for himself, but every single member of the BNP who has to try and defend his actions, should really have been kept on a low profile ever since. But no, we find him climbing through the ranks, lecturing us on party image at the national conference (I still can't get my head around that) and being earmarked as a future leader of the party! You couldn't make it up.
People should also remember that this situation would be nowhere near as bad as it is now if it wasn't for the party idiotically broadcasting the whole saga on the front page of it's newly launched website. And then branding people who have been in the party for years as Neo Nazis. Then giving them a deadline to return to the party! Then branding them Reds./Searchlight/MI5 spies and agents. Madness.
I stood outside two court buildings in Yorkshire to defend free speech. And yet on the party forum, of which I have been banned, I find the moderators enticing people to 'speak their minds' on the events of the last month or so only to be promptly banned if they show even the slightest sympathy towards the sacked individuals or the aims of this group.
I have always been a big supporter of Nick Griffin, I think he has done a fantastic job in helping take this party to where it is today. I also like him on an individual basis as a very funny and often down to earth man. However, if a leadership challenge is the only way to bring in the much needed changes presented by the VOC group, the only way to prepare this party for a breakthrough into the mainstream as a democratic and professionally run organisation then that is what I have to support.
I know many of my friends in the West Midlands might be disappointed or even angry at me for this. I can only ask them to look closely at what has gone on and think carefully about what they want for the future of this party. If things stay the same as they are then these whole events will happen all over again, with different people and for more or less the same reasons. And it's not the fault of the 'lefties' or 'searchlight' but the whole set up of the party. It's hard enough for this to happen now but a more catastrophic event four or five years down the line with a bigger membership and bigger ambitions will be an even bigger and painful fall.
I don't want that to happen, I want us to succeed and go forward as a party to be proud of.

Successful first Conference for ‘Voice of Change’

The Nottinghamshire village of Brinsley hosted the first ‘Voice of Change’ conference yesterday (27^th).

113 patriots attended the event despite the best efforts of some of Griffin’s cabal to put people from their regions off with threats of expulsions from positions and ostracism. The venue and date had previously been set aside for the BNP’s annual January Organisers’ Conference but that was before Sadie was purged by Griffin.

Former South East Regional Organiser Cllr Roger Robertson chaired the Conference and introduced each speaker on stage in turn. First to speak was former Head of Administration and Scottish Regional Organiser Kenny Smith.

Kenny opened his speech by saying he was stood before the audience not because he was a red, state asset or neo-nazi, but because he spoke out in the higher echelons of the BNP against incompetence and lies. Kenny gave an overview of the events that lead to the raids and expulsions of the 9^th of December. He explained how some senior officials had begun raising concerns as early as 2002 about management failings and the defence of incompetence and negative behaviour. The main catalyst for the recent events was however the 2006 behaviour of Collett and Hannam at the Blackpool Annual Conference that lead to them receiving final warnings and then the recommendation of the Central Management Team to expel the pair following Griffin’s granting of permission to give them a verbal warning for their behaviour at this year’s Conference.

Kenny also explained how the pre-planned sacking of Sadie and himself was discovered and how it was the reason he set up the blog, which was itself only unearthed when Mr Griffin authorised the bugging of Sadie Graham’s home and then the raids, sackings and worldwide public airing of an internal BNP dispute on the BNP website. He closed by exposing the most recent lie about his home being raided by police and being released on bail for fraud. Readers only need to call Central Scotland Police to confirm that Kenny’s home was not visited by police never mind raided and that he was not charged with any offence.

Sadie Graham

Cllr Sadie Graham (former Head of Group Development and East Mids Regional Organiser) then gave a powerful Power Point presentation about the important changes that need to take
place within the BNP if it is to become a serious contender for winning big in future elections. These changes she explained are not only needed for electioneering purposes, but also for the internal stability of the Party.

She addressed issues like the setting up of knowledge and experience based working groups to utilise the skills and expertise that lie dormant within the membership, the need for Paid positions within the Party to be advertised internally so that the best people can apply and be hired. Failings in discipline, accountability, internal procedures and security, the lack of policy departments and spokesmen were all mentioned as were the proposed restructuring of the party so that the political (legislative) is separated from the management (executive) and that a proper judiciary is established. Sadie also rubbished the claims that the expelled were seeking to have the BNP run by committee.

The constitution was drawn up by the Party Chairman when the BNP had 1000 members. It is now so completely out of date and at odds with a modern political party that it needs re-writing. Sadie said the Voice of Change group propose that a working party is set up to look at bringing it up to date, because at present its construction is designed to keep the present Chairman firmly in place.

Nick Griffin has tried to silence, threaten, maliciously lie and slander BNP members both current and expelled, but he has still failed to silence his critics. Sadie said Voice of Change want the BNP to succeed and for members to make their voice heard. There is huge support for change and members must retake control of the party, by raising their voices.

Steve Blake

Before the tea break Steve Blake (Former Web Editor) gave a passionate address detailing why the expelled intended to fight Mr Griffin all the way to the High Court if necessary to retain their memberships. He told the audience - who had come from 10 of the 13 BNP regions – how the treatment of good honest workers and patriots by Mr Griffin had been a painful experience for many but was now the reason why so many had come to the belief that change at the top was now needed.

Steve explained who attempts at negotiation and mediation has so far floundered because of Mr Griffin’s determination to break the long voting membership records of those expelled to ensure none could challenge him for the leadership for the next five years. While the expelled are happy to negotiate on every other point all nine were resolute in their determination to remain as members without break in service.

Steve told how he had joined the struggle for our people as a youngster and how the cause was in his blood – as it was for all the others – and how Mr Griffin’s mocking advice to go away and enjoy non-political lives was not a possibility for any of the expelled. Voice of Change would now be the vehicle we used to get our membership back and challenge the tyrannical Griffin’s grip on the BNP.

Questions

After an excellent lunch – and the efforts of the kitchen staff that included two councillors - there was a question and answer session that lasted well over an hour. Questions were varied but focused mainly on the leadership question and the GLA elections. Cllr Robertson did an excellent job ensuring order was kept and questions were directed through the chair.

A vote on whether a leadership challenge should be launched this year received an overwhelming yes vote from the conference floor. Debate about the GLA elections however divided both the floor and the speakers table. All recognised the need for the BNP and nationalism to succeed and as time began to run out the consensus seemed to be that the choice of whether to help with the GLA campaign should rest with each individual member. Those advocating assisting the campaign believed that leadership change would still occur after a successful campaign while those sceptical about helping worried that Griffin would become entrenched as leader on the back of a victorious campaign – regardless of the fact that it would have been won by the activists and London BNP rather than Mr Griffin personally – because of the financial rewards and the support of armchair members who may attribute the success to Mr Griffin.

Financial support

As time raced on Bev Jones conducted a fantastic fundraising effort for the Voice of Change with a collection of £520 and book sales of £70. Fundraising for the legal defence fund ‘Family Defence Appeal’ was boosted by a £400 donation from North West Regional Election Officer Mike Lester, who sent the funds along despite not being able to attend himself. A further £280 was also raised for the FDA and the Saint George Society ran an excellent merchandise stall for eager shoppers.

Steve Blake closed the meeting with an short address, which reaffirmed the view of the majority of those at the Conference that no opposition party was to be launched. Voice of Change was simply a pressure group to provide a platform for a leadership challenge and a change to the structure and constitution of the BNP.

He also reaffirmed the commitment of the Voice of Change team to seek an amicable resolution to the current impasse despite the lies and smears perpetrated by Mr Griffin and his allies, because the cause of British Nationalism needed the BNP to succeed to ensure our people do not become just a footnote of history in a few decades time.

Underhand Tactics

When I resigned as the Harrogate and District organiser over the mis-treatment of party colleagues and the sacking of others, I did so with a heavy heart.I did however maintain my membership as the BNP is the only way forward and when this mess was sorted out I would have taken the reins again. However this will now not be possible as due to 'underhand tactics' by the newly appointed Yorkshire Regional Organiser A. Marsden and a Harrogate Member, I have had my organisers position filled by this Harrogate member. Without any consultation with me, the new RO has appointed a member with no experience at all of running a branch or of running an election campaign. I make the last point because it is now obvious that the Griffin is running round like a headless chicken appointing 'anyone' at all who will take on the jobs of organisers and fund-holders, just to show the public that there is a BNP presence in their area. This is bloody stupid as the best people for these jobs are the very people who love this party so much that they resigned in protest at what was being done to it and its hardest workers. Perhaps the question Griffin should answer is, why are you edging out your most successful local organisers and fund-holders and not talking to them to build bridges, why do you not value the hard work they have done to bring the party to were it is now. If this blind appointing of local organisers and fund-holders continues it will undoubtedly affect our effectiveness in the future.

The Saint George Society website is back online after the management committee temporarily suspended business after spurious claims to its standing were made by John Walker.

Walker's attempt to seize control of the society has failed and his allegations against Bev Jones have since been confirmed to be without foundation. As such, the society is now back online and in full working order.

A Critique of January’s British Nationalist

Well obviously the first thing to mention is that it only arrived on our doorsteps today (21^st January). That feels like a return to the bad old days before Kenny and Nicholla took over production in Scotland and ensured it was sent out at the start of each month.

British Nationalist now appears to be keeping slow time with that other publication. Identity, that involves Collett at the production end via his private business, Vanguard Promotions.

As with last month’s bulletin there is no ‘Regional Information Sheet’ for any region. These pages were put together by the Regional Organisers were invaluable for keeping members informed of events and activities in their own region. They also helped boost attendance at meetings and donations to regional funds when appeals were sent out. There now appears to be nobody chasing up regional organisers or co-ordinating the collating of this regional information since Kenny was sacked. Or could it be that Collett doesn’t have the ability to sort the database into regions as Kenny did, but more on this later?

They are however using the bulk of the new membership form designed and distributed to regional officials by Kenny in the weeks prior to his sacking. Items they have left out are the option to get the bulletin by e-mail instead of by post to save the party money; the YBNP option (obviously because the YBNP has collapsed to side with the dissenters); the active or not option and the new unit dividend scheme section, whereby groups and branches could claim back a proportion of the membership dues for new and renewing members signed up by them.

The bulletin itself has again been produced outside the party as we do not have the printing machinery to produce such good quality pictures. The paper quality is higher than the norm - John Walker rejected Kenny’s request last year to move up to 100gsm paper given the savings he was making on the production front – and it is also stapled. Nice touches but all at extra cost to the members. Rumour has it that the bulletin is being printed by a registered charity in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

The front cover would have been great news for members until December the 9^th, but now the possibility of Nick Griffin getting his grubby hands on £100k is a cause for concern. Such quantities of cash would only prop up his corrupt and criminal regime and leave him free to purge even those who only display mild dissent.

On the second page the lead article continues and finishes with a repeat of the now familiar Searchlight plant smear (yawn! yawn!), though I was amused to read that the dissenters have supposedly unleashed a wave of lies. Correct me if I’m wrong but have the dissenters not been consistent with their version of events from day one, while the Griffin cabal have told a variety of stories, in many instances contradictory stories and each one tailored to the particular audience present at the time.

Is it just me or does anybody else feel, after reading the bulletin, that Mark Collett’s grammatical ability is severely stunted?

In his own words, “everyone on the Internet… has been able to see the huge improvements made by the expanded new team running our website.” The boy surely is deluded if he thinks everyone on the internet has seen the new site! The new site where South African Arthur Kemp (according to last month’s bulletin the BNP website became his responsibility – as well as being the new head of Education and Training and Excalibur) and Belgian Brun d’Aubignosc (he’s sending out emails giving himself the title of ‘BNP webmaster’) pull the strings of new ‘web editor’ Simon Bennett.

There is no mention of the former head of Information Technology Simon Darby, but then as he’s the Welsh based West Mids RO, National Press Officer, Deputy Leader and the management head hunter he probably doesn’t have the time for it. Though he never actually did anything on that front anyway, so leaving him with the title wouldn’t matter a jot.

Then there’s the laughable accusations about the illegal use of data and the legal process. Not one dissenter has yet had a single legal letter from the Griffin cabal and if anybody is being penalised by the ridiculous libel laws in this country it is the dissenters who cannot afford to challenge the Griffin lies and smears.

The final point in Collett’s editorial is a dig at Kenny because he fought for month’s to have the party purchase a mailing machine and the money was there thanks to savings he had made with BN. He even had an agreement with a sales company and the authority from Walker and Griffin to do the deal but it was then cancelled after the Conference as Griffin began his moves to get rid of him and Sadie.

I wonder how long it will take Walker and Hannam to start pleading poverty again after this supposed £70k injection? I wonder also if it will show up in next years’ statement of accounts?

Page 3 should be renamed ‘The lies about those dissent truths.” Again they trot out the same rubbish about most of previously conned officials returning to the fold. What a load of rubbish. There have been less than a handful, who have returned but more have since joined the ranks of the dissenters.

Apparently the dissenters started plotting because they thought they were going to get exposed for dodgy accounting practices. That would be funny if it wasn’t so hypocritical. Walker and Hannam at the inept Treasury Department, Collett’s private business Vanguard Promotions and Hannam’s private company Great White Records (where Hannam is incidentally both the sole director and the secretary which is illegal according to the rules listed on the company’s house website) attempting to deflect attention from their own accounting procedures or lack of them.

Another hypocritical pile on nonsense if the proper businesslike management structure comment, this was after all one of the main gripes from the dissenters. Then there’s the usual tripe about being hardliners, moles and commies at the same time. All proven lies elsewhere on this blog.

A new lie is the crazy claim that the electronic version of the bulletin has not been sent out this month or last because the dissenters have refused to hand over party property like the EBNS list. No such independent list exists! It is part of the membership database as any official who receives the list can verify. There are fields for BN, BNL and EBNS. Kenny updated the system many months ago so that Nicholla (who mailed out the EBNS bulletins) no longer kept a list that needed updating. She simply notified the Membership Secretary at regular intervals of those who contacted her on the EBNS e-mail address wanting to sign up to this option. The Membership Secretary updated the database at her end with requests that went there first, but had no need to notify Nicholla. Kenny would supply Nicholla with the relevant EBNS list after he had processed the full database he received encrypted on a monthly basis from the Membership Secretary, prior to her e-mailing the bulletin he’d edited too.

The illegal entry of Sadie’s home and the removal of her property is brushed over their false claim that the items belonged to the BNP. Even if just one of the items belonged to the BNP that doesn’t excuse Griffin ordering BNP Security to enter her home while she was away and remove every bit of office equipment they could find.

The biggest paragraph focuses on the disgusting mail shot received by some from Hannam’s old buddy Simon Sheppard and the Griffin lie that the dissenters passed members’ details to him. Again this website has covered the story here so I’ll not go into it, but what BN fails to mention is that Hannam plead guilty to distributing the ‘illegal’ leaflet round houses in Hull. That is hardly the action of an innocent person. Why did Hannam plead guilty to "publishing or distributing racially inflammatory material" if he was innocent?

It is heartening to see that the BNP seem to be admitting problems have been caused by the departure of Kenny, Steve and Sadie, but we already knew that, as the above points have already pointed out.

The next piece of idiocy is the fact that they publicise the web address of a supposedly private part of the BNP website. It is hardly going to stay public if they publicise it and indeed it has already been known about in internet circles before this bulletin or Identity (where it is also advertised) came out.

The very smart looking centre pages open with an advertisement for the London weekend of action which has already passed. Again shades of the bad old days there! On the London weekend there does seem to be confusion as to numbers. The picture they show on the website shows just 63 people including all the sinister mob of Kemp, Collett, Hannam and Griffin. When was the last time anybody saw that bunch out leafleting together? Seems like a PR stunt to me. Eddy Butler claims just over 100 people attended, Simon Darby claims 200 and the BNP website claims 250. I for one am more inclined to trust Eddy Butler than Simon Darby who went on BBC Newsnight to call the dissenters Nazis and I certainly won’t believe the BNP website figure given the dodgy foreign cabal running that show.

Page six features some astonishingly bad grammar, especially in the ‘Renewal News’ article.

Excalibur gets the lie machine treatment in detail on page seven, but they put the blame down to the stock being in Leeds, the admin in Falkirk and the despatch elsewhere. What they really mean is that Arthur Kemp who was imposed upon Excalibur by Griffin when Nicholla took over lived in Deeside and rarely travelled to Leeds to process the orders he was supposed to do on a twice weekly basis. Nicholla has explained the situation already on this blog .

There is also a claim that the website address was destroyed by Steve Blake but that is nonsense. The BNP never owned the Excalibur Heritage domain name and was never billed for it or the web hosting, but this was actually a secondary shop without obvious BNP stock. BNP customers had the Excalibur shop on the BNP website, but this was removed by Kemp shortly after the 9^th December sackings, because he had still not processed orders from October and November. The Excalibur Heritage site was closed by Steve because he had been sacked and not paid wages owed to him. The BNP shop advertised in BNP is still not up on the BNP website… surely not another case of incompetence from Griffin’s team?

Kemp was the man behind the Mohammed Bears promotion but failed to secure enough bears to meet demand. He then asked Bev Jones to source some more and though she bought more with her own money she refused to do give them to the BNP after Darby called her and the other dissenters Nazis on BBC Newsnight.

Collett disparagingly calls Nicholla and Bev malcontents because they were dissatisfied with the situation and stood up for themselves and the party. My favourite claim though is that all orders have now been despatched or refunds sent where orders cannot be fulfilled. How stupid was it to make that claim when Nicholla is still getting calls and emails from members complaining that Kemp has still not sent them their orders? These members will read that and know instantly that they are being lied too again.

The whole operation has now been moved to the Deeside house where Kemp lives and Walker works out of and they now claim they will be able to turn orders around in just three days. I sincerely hope they don’t get stung by that claim as it takes longer than three days for a cheque to clear! They could get left-wing opponents ordering items getting the delivery and then cancelling the cheques. Members should rest easy though because such a claim is unlikely to be matched by action regardless of the claim they will refund customers money if they don’t meet this deadline. Well how could they when the shop is not even online anymore?

So there you have it. The new editor doesn’t seem to have got off to a very promising start. Mind you if they keep expelling good members there will be less people to complain or even notice.

We've Been Here Before!

Those of you who read the post titled 'Ian Dawson - A Personal Perspective', will know that Ian referred to an article by the late John Tyndall where John compares his expulsion with previous events in the BNP. It seems to be that the common denominator where trouble in Nationalist circles are concerned, is Nick Griffin.

While the EiE team make no judgement either way on the rights and wrongs of John Tyndall's leadership (before we get Nick squealing "see I told you they were hard line"), he was certainly an honourable man with great integrity - something sadly lacking with the BNP 'leadership' in January 2008.

The tactics employed by Nick Griffin have been used before. Same tactics, different era. How many people will be fooled this time we wonder?

To be exact, we were here 17 years ago. The year was 1986. The British National Party was four years old. The National Front, the party out of which it was formed, was racked by chronic internal divisions, with accusations and counter-accusations, personal attacks and demands for expulsions poisoning the air. Does it sound familiar? It should, because there is a certain common thread linking that time with times much more recent.

It was in 1986 that the NF split in two. One morning, nationalists in Britain woke up to find that there were now two organisations claiming to be the National Front where previously there had been one: there was the 'Official' National Front, led by Nick Griffin and Derek Holland; and there was what came to be known as the National Front 'Support Group', of which the main leaders appear to have been Martin Wingfield and Ian Anderson. There is some irony in this because the former gentleman is now one of the leading lieutenants of Mr. Griffin in today's BNP!

Inevitably, both sides in the conflict issued their respective versions of what had gone wrong and who was to blame. Those of us by then in the BNP smiled as we watched these two factions screech at each other like alley cats, each seeking to outdo the other in mutual recrimination. Of course, we took no sides. Long ago, we had come to view the NF as a party with no future, albeit that it still contained some good patriots at rank-and-file and lower leadership levels. With the individuals at the top, a clash had always been probable, and it was no surprise when it came.

Hysterical and nutty

Neither version of what had happened impressed us, but of the two the version issued in the name of the 'Official' Front seemed by several degrees the more vituperative, paranoid, hysterical and plain nutty. It was titled Attempted Murder: the State/Reactionary Plot Against the National Front. From this choice of words it will be gleaned that the 'Official' NF regarded its internal opponents as hirelings of the political establishment, whose mission was to sabotage the party from the inside. Our own view at the time was that there was probably some truth in this but it was only half the truth; the likelihood was that the establishment had its agents placed in both camps, with the intention that through action and counteraction from one direction and then another the NF would be smashed to pieces. Effectively it was, though a rump of it has managed to survive to this day.

Attempted Murder in due course took its place among the piles of mostly forgotten factional literature that have gathered dust in attics, cellars, spare bedrooms and garages over the years - just occasionally retrieved and read for amusement and for old time's sake. Certain recent events, however, brought memories of it back, and we acquired a copy for study. The study was well worthwhile, and the document is highly recommended to those who seek to make sense of what has been happening in the BNP, our own party, over the past few years. We too are deeply divided within - though successes on the electoral scene should, from every commonsense standpoint, be making us more united than ever, while other nationalist groups should be abandoning their own separate operations and joining us. Why is there this division? Let us turn to Attempted Murder, and see if it offers some clues.

In the introduction to the document it is made clear that, though it was unanimously approved by the National Directorate of the National Front, its author was in fact Nick Griffin, who as a consequence of the split had emerged as leader of the party.

'Disciplinary tribunals'

We do not have to proceed very far in Attempted Murder before something of its flavour emerges. In the third paragraph of the Introduction it is stated that:-
'The facts about the State's response to the growing NF threat, and the part played in it by the last reactionary elements within the old leadership, have taken a long time to uncover. And the need to ensure fair trials for these few individuals at their resuming disciplinary tribunals has prevented previous publication of the full story about the rise and fall of their factional adventure.'

It is at this point that we should explain that throughout the document Mr. Griffin's opponents in the NF are described as the 'reactionaries' and his own faction as the 'radicals'. The division, in other words, is over matters of ideology and principle, and has nothing to do with human egos, personal ambitions or power-rivalries. Make sure you understand this!
Fair trials for individuals at disciplinary tribunals! Does this not sound faintly familiar In the next paragraph members are assured that the offending individuals - termed 'ring-leaders'- have now been expelled. Familiar again?

What follows is a depressing tale of organisational incompetence within the party, with one individual after another being blamed for this. In fact, when one tots up the names of the people who are accused of incompetence and/or bad personal habits and/or dishonourable or subversive behaviour the list reads like a roll call of just about everyone who was anyone in the NF at the time. There is one notable exception among these names, and that is Nick Griffin himself. None of the blame for the long catalogue of cock-ups is Nick's; it is all other people's fault. And, needless to say, Nick remains a beacon of honourable behaviour while so many other people are acting dishonourably!

The tale takes a kind of diary form, with commentaries recorded against the months in which things happened. The first such entry is for December 1983. Here it is stated that "a meeting of the National Directorate voted to expel [Martin] Webster and his homosexual lover Michael Salt from all their paid and elected positions within the party." Now that really is interesting - because not so very long previously Mr. Griffin had been one of those in the NF who had opposed John Tyndall's move to have Mr. Webster dismissed on the grounds of his homosexuality! This sounds a rather Damascan conversion, but no doubt Mr. Griffin will be able to explain it - as he usually has an explanation for everything.

In the same section Martin Wingfield is accused of trying to obstruct the dismissal of Webster in the first place but changing his mind when he was offered the editorship of the party's newspaper, then called National Front News.

The narrative proceeds to August 1984, in which section Tom Acton, Ian Anderson and Roger Denny are all attacked. There is an argument over the location of a party printing machine, which, according to Mr. Griffin, Anderson wanted to be in East London "which he saw as his own personal power-base." Following on from this, in a section dated April 1985, Anderson is accused of lying to his close associates. The next thing is that the same Mr. Anderson is as good as accused of financial impropriety.

Everyone is guilty except Nick!

Needless to say, we have no way whatever of knowing whether any of these accusations are justified or not. It is just that virtually everyone who had been, or currently was, a colleague of Nick Griffin gets accused of something. Nick comes out of every encounter with clean hands!
It is the same in a section which follows, dated July 1985. In this section we read about a long succession of cock-ups. Money has been handled irresponsibly, if not dishonestly. Large numbers of letters to the party office have gone unanswered. Stocks of books have run down while orders have not been dealt with. Leaflets have been produced far too late and have been of poor quality. A printing press has been purchased which is quite useless, while the motive for its purchase is deemed as factional. There are more attacks on Anderson, Wingfield and Denny in this connection. There is even a snide reference to rivalries over lady friends affecting the performance of party duties - something more appropriate to the gossip column of a tabloid newspaper than a bulletin dealing with serious business in a political party.

Next target for attack is one Michael Hipperson. Yes, he too has incurred Mr. Griffin's displeasure. Mr. Hipperson is accused of failing to deliver photos of an NF march for the party's paper and also neglecting to pursue follow-ups - with what justification we have no way of knowing. He simply joins Mr. Giffin's 'hit list' and is thought to be part of the rival faction because he shares accommodation with Anderson. It gets more and more complicated!

While all these misdeeds and failures of duty were occurring, what, the reader might ask, was Nick Griffin himself doing? Of course, as always, he is not to blame! The failures were other people's. However, Nick has an explanation for the chaos that seems to have been endemic in the party. It is not just incompetence; it is worse than that; it is deliberate sabotage! At the end of the July 1985 section he announces that those he is attacking are doing it all "in order to discredit their radical colleagues..." In other words, it's a conspiracy, folks!
The attacks continue. One person out of favour is accused of being into drugs. Another is too fond of his beer.

The hit list grows

There next appear accusations of a leak to The Guardian newspaper over a printing operation. As with so much else, it is impossible 17 years afterwards to get to the truth of what actually happened. Ian Anderson, by now very clearly enemy number one, is believed to be the culprit; however Wingfield and Acton are attacked again, this time for obstructing charges against Anderson being brought on the Directorate. And they are joined by two more: Andrew Brons and Paul Nash. All are accused of scheming, lying and rigging the Directorate agenda to get Anderson off the hook. Mr. Griffin claims that they have been doing so "to protect a member of their secret faction," and that they are therefore 'corrupt'. Four more to be added to the hit list.
Coming to the Autumn of 1985, the attacks on Anderson continue. There are allegations of theft, fraud, drunkenness and incompetence, but that is not all; again the theme of 'deliberate sabotage' reappears, and again Wingfield and Brons, among others, are accused of shielding Anderson - no doubt as part of the factional conspiracy!

It is known that at some time during those years Ian Anderson was in fact chairman of the NF Directorate and therefore in effect leader of the party, though Attempted Murder is extremely imprecise as to when he took over this position and when he vacated it. At all events, throughout the time he was most definitely part of the NF's hierarchy. If his sins were so glaring as Mr. Griffin makes them out to be, it seems incredible that anyone in senior party circles should have failed to be aware of them and support the appropriate action against him. Yet he appeared to have several defenders at the very top of the party. Why? Perhaps these defenders knew a few things that are not made obvious in Attempted Murder.

Next to come in for condemnation is Miss Tina Dalton; she joins the lengthening list of guilty persons. She is accused of inefficiency as a typesetter but it is hinted that in this capacity she did some jobs for Anderson for factional reasons. Miss Dalton later became Mrs. Denny and, subsequent to that, Mrs. Wingfield, which we understand she remains today. Mr. Wingfield, for his part, is now editor of the BNP paper The Voice of Freedom, as most people know. This suggests an extraordinarily forgiving attitude on his part towards Nick Griffin - or should we put that the other way round?

Gutter press tactics

Interspersed with these attacks against all and sundry, we find in the section headed January 1986 a reference to certain sensitive papers being found in an office and destroyed as part of a security operation. Apparently not all of the papers were of a political nature, and here Mr. Griffin again descends to a piece of bitchiness worthy only of a low-grade female gossip columnist, talking about certain personal diaries and love letters that should never be regarded as party business. He is at it again a page later, insinuating an 'affair' between a member and another member's wife when the husband was unavoidably away. This is gutter stuff which we could well do without.

Next to incur disfavour is one Steve Brady, whom some readers will know. Brady apparently sent a letter to Joe Pearce, now (Spring 1986) in Prison, which contained sensitive information liable to be read by the prison censors. This was foolish but hardly a hanging offence. Nevertheless it is stated that "The Directorate took a dim view of this and Brady ended up on a charge." It is not stated who actually moved that there should be such a charge, but the reader will perhaps have little trouble in guessing! Brady is described as having letters of support from Wingfield, Brons, Acton and Dalton - which presumably means that these people did not consider his letter to Pearce sufficiently serious for disciplinary action. Says Griffin: "Most of the key figures in the subsequent faction leapt to Brady's defence, so they had already clearly transferred their loyalties from the National Front as a whole to members of their own clique." Much more likely, they simply regarded a disciplinary punishment against Brady as ridiculous and could see that it was being pursued in a fit of paranoia that could not be countenanced. Here Pearce, up to now not on the hit list, incurs disfavour by sending a letter out from prison which appears to defend Brady. Obviously, Pearce must from now on be watched!

Northern Ireland becomes the next battleground for Mr. Griffin's factional war. A loyalist by the name of Keith White gets killed by a bullet from an RUC rifle during a demonstration against the Anglo-Irish Agreement - probably no more than a tragic accident. However, in the minds of Nick's 'radical' wing of the NF it becomes 'murder'. In retaliation for the death, some loyalists in the province make petrol-bomb attacks on the homes of RUC officers - an utterly inexcusable action, whatever the natural anger prompting it. And what do Griffin & Co. in the NF do? They make a declaration which as good as justifies the attackers! Wingfield condemns this declaration, and is in consequence himself condemned by the so-called 'radicals' in the NF, presumably including Nick Griffin. Another mark against Wingfield!

About-turn on street confrontation

Following this, there is further condemnation of Wingfield for his opposition to a policy of 'direct physical confrontation' by the NF against marches by IRA supporters. It is not the time nor place here to enter into this argument, save to remark that Mr. Griffin, who clearly then approved of these tactics, has now done a 180° turn and throws the 'street confrontation' charge against his opponents in the BNP, alleging that they favour it!

After more tirades against Wingfield (his ally these days, remember), Mr. Griffin turns to the satirical writer the late Ted Budden, whose columns in nationalist papers gave great entertainment to many nationalists. Ted is accused of "reactionary and juvenile race-hate rantings" and called "an elderly bigot." One more on the hit list! Ironically, Nick was pleased later to accept Ted Budden's humorous contributions to the BNP newspaper before the latter died at the end of 2000. But we are not finished with the tirades against Wingfield. They continue at some length, and at one point Griffin writes: "Wingfield's 'Mr. Nice Guy' image conceals an arrogant self-importance and lust for power of shocking proportions." Phew!

But none of this should sidetrack us from the fact that Anderson continues to be the number-one enemy. It is all now building up to the disciplinary action against him intended to hound him out of the party. No prizes are being offered for correctly guessing who is bringing the charges!
Of course, anyone disposed to disagree with this action is branded an 'enemy' too, with prominence in this regard given to Wingfield and Acton. Wingfield is accused here, as elsewhere, of having 'Tory' tendencies. Brons, out of things for some time, is attacked for opposing the action against Anderson.

Recently Spearhead has spoken to some of the people around at this time to get their views on the situation. They are unanimous in saying that, although Anderson had many weaknesses and faults, they believed that the attempt to bring disciplinary charges against him to drive him out of the party was utterly ridiculous; hence their opposition to it. One witness has testified to the paranoid way in which anyone who opposed these charges was lumped together with Anderson as part of some imaginary 'conspiracy' against the party.

We now come to the Directorate meeting at which Anderson is intended for the chop. Here an extraordinary admission is made of which the reader should take careful note. Steve Brady, who in this section again comes in for much stick, is accused of making a false claim to the effect that Griffin had told him that Anderson was about to be expelled on 'trumped up' charges. Brady, it will be recalled, was already in hot water over his letter to Pearce. Here Nick's version of what actually happened is spelled out. This is now Nick Griffin speaking, not someone else putting words into his mouth. Bear in mind that he (Nick) writes of himself throughout Attempted Murder in the third person, and he writes as follows:-
'For all his faults, Brady was considered quite radical and was a drinking mate of Pearce's, so Nick had told him on the 'phone that his recent short suspension was the end of the affair of his indiscreet letter to Pearce, and had made it clear that Wingfield's attitude made it necessary to expel Anderson. He went on to tell him that there were so many genuine charges against him that his removal was assured, but that no one else would be touched as long as they didn't move to support his corruption...'

His removal was assured! Readers will perhaps find here an eerie foretaste of later events and declarations. As for the promise that no one else would be touched, this sounds very much like: "Support my action - or else". Here again, future events seem to cast their shadow. When in July of this year Mr. Griffin was phoning around the country urging people to support the planned expulsion of John Tyndall he was making similar threats to those who showed insufficient enthusiasm for the idea, in the case of BNP town councillors hinting at the withdrawal of the party whip from them if they did not endorse Tyndall's dismissal.

In the outcome, the motion to bring charges against Anderson, which was put by Griffin, was defeated by one vote. There follows in the document a list of the diabolically subversive practices employed to achieve this result, as part of which, again, nearly everybody is attacked, but Wingfield in particular comes in for very heavy punishment, being accused of manipulating the whole proceedings. At the same meeting a new party Executive is elected, leaving Wingfield as chairman and Griffin as his deputy. This does not seem a recipe for future harmony, and it isn't.

Accusations of corruption

Nick is not finished with Wingfield. There follows in Attempted Murder a two-page section headed 'Wingfield's Corruption' which makes it all the more amazing that Wingfield and Griffin are now colleagues and the latter is able to write glowing tributes to Wingfield's skills as a journalist and propagandist. The whole affair of 1983-86 involving Griffin and Wingfield leaves two questions begging. If Griffin's assessment of Wingfield's character as shown in Attempted Murder is correct, how on earth can he now embrace him as a senior colleague in the BNP? Alternatively, if the assessment is just malicious fabrication, how on earth can Wingfield accept with any honour a job that involves working under Griffin?

The new party Executive, according to Mr. Griffin, consists of six persons, namely Martin Wingfield, Andrew Brons, Paul Nash, Tom Acton, Joe Pearce and Griffin himself. If what he has written in Attempted Murder is correct, this leaves Nick in a minority of one - at least with regard to his current obsession of driving Ian Anderson out of the party. It will not require too much perception on the part of the reader to appreciate that Nick was none too pleased.
At this point it should be explained that the National Directorate remained the senior authority in the NF; the Executive was merely a body appointed by the Directorate to make quick day-to-day decisions that could not await the next scheduled Directorate meeting. Thus appointed, the Executive could likewise be dismissed.

And this is what Mr. Griffin now sets about planning. According to the account in Attempted Murder, he manages, by energetic and persuasive lobbying of Directorate members, to obtain a majority, albeit not a large one, for the dismissal of the Executive he dislikes and the appointing of a new one. Readers will not be overwhelmed with surprise to hear that the new chairman of the Executive, Directorate and party is - Nick Griffin!

According to his own account (and corroborated by others), Nick now sets about pursuing the expulsion from the party of his main opponents and rivals. The pretext is a bulletin issued by these people which is claimed to reveal confidential minutes of a Directorate meeting, but to put spice on things the offenders are also accused of telling lies and making attacks on Nick and his supporters. And that's not all. To quote Attempted Murder, "additional charges of disloyalty were also brought."

The four arch-criminals, namely Wingfield, Brons, Nash and Acton, are duly expelled from the party. One of our current witnesses who was there at the time has opined that the four had a pretty strong case for challenging the expulsions in court, but were put off the idea by the thought of the expense involved. It seems from Attempted Murder that there were additional purges, but the document is not too specific about which individuals were affected. Somehow the ghost of Joseph Stalin makes a fleeting appearance here.

Attempted Murder rambles on for many more pages the details of which it would be tedious to reproduce here. Briefly, what next transpired was that the sacked people refused to recognise their expulsions and set about creating their own organisation. They called it the 'National Front Support Group', claiming that their loyalty was still to the party though not to its existing leadership. For a while, Britain witnessed the absurdity of two 'National Fronts' operating quite separately from each other, each claiming to be the authentic representative of the original party.

Griffin support slips away

Nick Griffin, in Attempted Murder, claims that his faction, the 'Official' Front enjoyed the support of a very clear majority in the party. This may have been correct at the time it was written (1986) but it ceased to be so before very long. A year later, the rival faction had become indisputably stronger. Mr. Griffin's supporters deserted him in droves. Some joined the other 'National Front'. Some went to the BNP. Some dropped out of nationalist politics altogether. Griffin's Front and Wingfield's Front measured strengths against each other at the Remembrance Day parade in November 1987, and the latter was seen to be at least four times more numerous.

Eventually, the Griffin Front disintegrated entirely, leaving the Wingfield Front as the sole claimant to the patty's title. The National Front of today is the heir to that party.
In years following, nationalists in Britain were to witness more political turns by Mr. Griffin. Soon after the 1986 split there came the 'Cadre' National Front (so named as a result of Nick's organising of an elite 'party within the party' which enjoyed a superior status to the ordinary membership and thus thoroughly and predictably alienated the latter). Then there was the 'Gaddafi' Front, a nickname earned by the adoption of the doctrines of the eccentric Libyan dictator. The most notable event in the short career of this body was an unsuccessful visit by Griffin and Derek Holland to Libya to solicit money. There followed the era of the 'Political Soldiers', another Griffin stunt modelled on the example of Rumanian Iron Guard leader Corneliu Codreanu. Later Nick became involved with the International Third Position, but this did not last long. For information on his contribution to the ITP, the reader is best advised to contact one of its leading officers, Mr. Gareth Hurley.

We come then to the early to mid-1990s, when we find Nick making overtures to the BNP, which some years previously he had been regularly attacking. But that is another story.

Nick Griffin responds to Bradford BNP

Bradford BNP's letter to Nick Griffin:

Dear Nick

I am writing to you as the Bradford Branch secretary. I am writing to you following our earlier letter sent in mid November which we have not received any reply to or acknowledgement of. This letter is being sent following an Emergency Branch Committee meeting. We as members and officers of the Bradford Branch believe that the BNP is a Party whose membership works to achieve the policies and objectives of our Party that is the policies and objectives agreed by the Party members particularly the voting members and officers who attend the AGM and other meetings. The Party is about the achievements of the memberships aspirations, the membership being the unpaid persons, who often suffer considerable social and employment problems because of their support for the cause, the persons who raise money, deliver leaflets, canvass etc. The Party is greater than any one person it is not a personality cult. The most infamous 'cult of personality' was Stalin in Russia. Now this Party appears to be going through a similar phase in its development, with 'purges' of middle ranking management, security forcing its way into peoples houses, new officials being appointed to positions by the leadership with the only qualification the new officers have for their appointments being their loyalty to the 'leader', defamatory & contradictory remarks being placed on party websites etc (some of the remarks posted would prevent proper disciplinary tribunal hearings being held). Some of the Bradford officers along with officers from other branches attended the Leeds meeting where you appeared to show contempt for the Party membership particularly Yorkshire members.

The Bradford officers are not resigning their positions. Officers and members are not setting up or joining alternative parties. Why should we resign from our Party ? Many of us have been aware for some time that their are problems with this parties management, a party which is managed from the 'top down'. Secretaries who cannot get lists of our own branch members, fund holders who cannot reconcile accounts, a lack of information – we often get our most accurate info from Searchlight !! The new website is uninformative and is worse than the previous one edited by Mr S Blake. The Party now has some Regions where the membership must be approaching 1000 members and we have a core of experienced officers and members. More powers must be transferred from the central management to the Regions. To list just three constructive suggestions (out of many the Committee had) :

The Party should handle disciplinary hearings at Regional level. The persons on the panel should be selected by rota from a list of persons approved by the Regional Executive. Appeals from these hearings could be heard at a National Panel. Once again the membership of the National Panel should be by rota from a list of nominees – one nominee on the list from each Region.

All officer appointments – both Regional & National – should be advertised. If the Party requires particular qualifications, experience etc (including courses studied at Summer School etc) then it should be included in the advert. All persons who meet the criteria for Regional posts should then be interviewed by the Regional Executive (or a sub committee set up by Regional Exec) and approved by the Exec. National appointments should be interviewed and approved by a National panel, the membership of which should be openly listed.

As a personal note on this item many of the Bradford Officers know Mr A Marsden. We have no personal objections to him but do not accept his imposed appointment as RO because he has no Regional mandate.

We believe the current Advisory Panel nationally has enough to do taking forward Party publicity, member communications (or lack of), policy and campaign planning etc. We believe a committee should be set up to cover management oversight – both Regional & National – accounting and audit. It should have one representative from each Region and should have the powers to 'co-opt' suitable persons to help its business, for example experienced accountants.

Turning from constructive suggestions for the future to the current crisis we believe the Party Leadership must tackle the following action points :

All the expelled members/officers should be reinstated - should they so wish.

That all allegations against the expelled/resigned members/officers should be removed from Party websites even in the case of those persons who decide they do not wish to rejoin the Party.

That Mr M Collett and Mr D Hannam should be expelled from the Party. In addition to a long history in both cases of disciplinary incidents, previous punishments and damage to the Party we have the following specific remarks concerning Mr Collett:

We believe he has a conflict of interest being both the party's artwork technician and director of his own printing company which is run (presuming he is competent) for his profit.

Mr Collett deliberately sabotaged Bradford local election leaflets in May 2007. Spelling and date errors were inserted in the texts after proofs were approved. Mr Collett had had an argument with Bradford candidates who objected to a lack of relevant local issues in the election leaflets at a previous meeting. He boasted of inserting the errors in the leaflets to 'teach Bradford candidates not to mess with him' in phone calls and texts sent to Cllr P Cromie and former Cllr Dr J Lewthwaite.

We now have to turn to your position as leader. Many of us joined the Party during your time as leader. We respect your development of Party policy, your work to expand the Party, your work with the Press and your high level of personal commitment. Many of us were among the 91% who voted for you in the summer election although some of us were shocked that the person who stood against you in that democratic election, Mr C Jackson, was barred by you from taking up a position that 92% of the NW Regional Exec approved. If a vote had been held among party members in Yorkshire and in particular the Bradford Branch in early Dec when this crisis first broke you would have had massive support. Since then we have had the miss-handling of the Regional meetings, the offensive material posted on your own and your fellow officers websites (many Bradford Committee members were disgusted by your attack on Angela Clarke – who also had previous bad treatment by Collett when he lodged at her house) and the imposition of officers. We are effectively giving you 14 days notice to respond to this letter and deal with the action points listed above or else we will be considering our next actions. If you deal with the points above within 14 days then you have shown great leadership and man management and that will be to your credit. If you do not deal with these points within 14 days then we have had a leadership failure and you must consider your position as Party leader.

Since you have resigned as an officer of the BNP, and your fellow committee members likewise, I would be obliged if you would cease claiming otherwise.

Paul Cromie is now the Bradford organiser, and he and the BNP Treasury department are thus the people who will decide who will hold the other local positions in the branch.

Bradford BNP will, I am quite confident, make good progress under Paul and his team, just as Yorkshire will as a whole under its new but very experienced Regional Organiser, Adrian Marsden.

Whether you and others stay in the BNP as members, or leave to join Mr. Smith's future new party, is entirely a matter for yourselves to decide.

'Voice of Change' Website launched

A fully functioning web site www.voiceofchange.org.uk has been launched with its expressed aim to be the best and the most popular British nationalist political web site on the Internet.

Managed by Steve Blake who as web editor of the old BNP site played a key role in making that site the number one most visited political site in the UK, it will be the voice of modern nationalism embracing decency, honesty and promoting family values as key elements of our political platform.

International, national and regional news will be posted daily and the site will contain an archive of political essays as well as seeing the reintroduction of the highly popular “Your say” letters to the editor pages.

Joining Steve will be well known names such as Louise Scott, a former regular contributor to the web site and VoF, and seasoned political writer Kenny Smith and many other regional reporters.

There will also be a forum for discussion of all matters relating to the nationalist cause which, while recognising the need for moderation to ensure the laws of the land are obeyed will champion genuine freedom of speech. We already have a host of former BNP forum moderators ready to start having being sacked for voicing their support for free speech.

An online shop is already under development which will sell a variety of merchandise of political and cultural interest.

A personal perspective – Ian Dawson

Firstly I’d like to start off by saying a massive ‘thank you’ to all the people who have sent in messages of support, made contributions to the Family Defence Appeal, and those who have put their head above the parapet to speak out about the actions of the Griffin leadership.

I apologise for the length of this posting, yet I have been quiet for a few weeks training for the new job and thus have a lot of things to say and comment on. The rest of this posting should make very interesting reading.

I’ll briefly start with a quick run-down of my role in the Party up to this present day. I have been a member for eight years, having joined up when I was 17 years old. I was only ever interested in Nationalist politics and had no reservations about joining a Party that back then had a very bad reputation in the public eye. As far as I could see, the Party was made up of honest and decent British people sick to death of what was happening to their country. For sure, a few people were rough around the edges yet they were, by and large, still fundamentally decent people, while the massive majority of people were model citizens through and through.

For the last five years I have been a fantastic activist for the BNP. Also, over this same period I have worked on and off for the BNP, most notably as the Group Support Officer from June 2006 to October 2007. Just like the rest of my fellow ‘rebels’ I am not one to blow my own trumpet or seek compliments and attention for the things that I do. Some people in the Party think nothing of over-stating the role that they do, of being arrogant and big-headed, and of wanting to be told every five minutes what a great job they are doing. I would rather just get my head down, keep out of the public eye, work hard and be respected for it. Despite my usual down-to-earth and modest style, I will say the following: I have always succeeded at what I have done and I was one of the most professional and efficient people working for the BNP. I made a few mistakes, for sure, though they were honest mistakes, soon corrected and rarely replicated. I was either always available or made sure to return calls and emails in a prompt and professional manner. I sorted out peoples’ problems; I acted with courtesy and dignity. I spoke to people as though they were my equal, and expected the same in return. I do not go in for this ‘I have a better title so I can speak to you how I want’ mentality. The roles that I was given I performed professionally and confidently.

As well as my professionalism in working for the BNP, I was also a great activist. I have sold thousands of VoF both door to door and in the street – I have leafleted tens of thousands of leaflets, organised meetings all over Yorkshire, spoke at meetings (having overcome an irrational fear of public speaking to do so), canvassed all over the country for elections, visited new members and enquiries etc. etc. This has mainly been done on a voluntary basis and the cost of which I have borne myself – just as the majority of our activists also have to pay money to be a BNP activist.

I am not usually the type of person to write something like that about myself, yet these are extraordinary circumstances that require it to be done. I certainly think it is worth pointing out that all those expelled are great local and regional activists for the Party, as well holding other roles, while those pulling the strings to expel these people, such as Collett, Hannam, Walker, Kemp, Barnes, and Darby do either nothing or next to nothing as activists, bar speak at meetings that other people have arranged. One of the fore-mentioned is not even a member (although he recently claimed to have just become one on his blog, though seeing as he said he paid £25 and not the correct £30 this can’t be taken as given), while another has been a member for around three months. Simon Darby may well be titled ‘West Midlands Regional Organiser’ yet this is just a title. Despite there being many good people in the West Mids, and also bucket loads of potential, the West Mids as a region has stagnated. Darby now lives in Wales, near Griffin, yet is still the West Mids RO. If he could not do the job properly living in the heart of the region, how can he do it living miles away from the BNP heartlands of the West Mids? He has been kept on as RO because he is a personal friend of Nick Griffin – jobs for the boys and all that. If Sadie had tried to replace him with someone more competent then no doubt Griffin would have squealed about trying to get Simon of the AC etc. as that seems to be Griffin’s latest line of attack.

I will now go on to completely expose some of Griffins more blatant lies. The situation has now spiralled way out of his control* and he is resorting to farcical suggestions and accusations to try and get him out of it. He knows there is no going back and admitting he is wrong so he has to try and get rid of us and alienate us once and for all.

* A few well respected people have spoken to me about this point and suggested that this is not out of Griffin’s control yet it is panning out exactly as HE wanted it to. His main allies are people like Barnes, Darby & Kemp and it is they who have, through their shocking handling of the situation, created a massive mess that will ultimately set the Cause back for the short-medium term at least. So the question may even be ‘Is it Griffin who has intentionally exaggerated this situation? After all he has a track record of splitting Nationalist parties - more on this later.

“VoF is too soft for the rebels”

Nick Griffin claims that the ‘rebels’ detest Voice of Freedom (VoF) and that they think it is too soft for their extremist beliefs.

I’d like to briefly analyse the number of VoF’s sold by those on both sides of this dispute. The number one unit for selling VoF is Leeds, and it has been for well over a year. They take 1000 VoF every month, the majority of which are sold door to door. 1000 every month is more than the smallest 25+ units put together, and nearly double the next highest amount. Chris Beverley, the Leeds Organiser, while not solely responsible for this, is largely responsible for it, though this did not stop Griffin calling him (and me at the same time) “vermin” saying that the Leeds meeting in December “would be the last BNP meeting that we would ever go to”. He vilified Chris, along with the other ‘rebels’, of being supposed ‘neo-Nazi 14 Words extremists’ and got his legal sparrow Lee Barnes to email out to all Yorkshire officials just before the meeting in Leeds an article saying how we were all hard-line Nazi’s etc. Chris Beverley got elected on the back of a successful VoF paper-round even though the Leeds City Wards are literally massive. I can’t see at this point how the most successful unit Organiser in the country would organise the sale/distribution of 1000 VoF every month while at the same time hating the paper as it is ‘too soft’.

Sadie and I both had VoF paper-rounds, and sold many papers in the street. Sadie also got elected on the back of a VoF paper-round. We both constantly pushed VoF at all the Regional Council meetings we went to. I have sold literally thousands of VoF in the street, in my own time, with my local North Yorkshire friends and colleagues. We have sold VoF in York, Scarborough, Whitby, Thirsk, Pickering and many other places. I have sold more VoF then Collett, Hannam, Walker, Kemp, Darby & Barnes put together. Sadie and I both wrote articles for VoF pushing VoF sales (feel free to check past copies). On the back of the membership card is a statement about knowing your rights to sell VoF that I researched and sent out in an Organiser’s bulletin (it was taken from a longer article) while Sadie was away on holiday one month. I still can’t see how the ‘rebels’ hate VoF so much?!

I know for a fact that Kenny and Nicholla have sold many VoF in Scotland, sometimes in Glasgow where that unit sells hundreds per month, though also in Falkirk, and even the Highlands and Islands! They pushed the sale of VoF at Regional Council meetings and thought, like the rest of us, what a professional and fantastic publication and recruitment tool it was. Bev Jones was instrumental in setting up VoF paper-sales in the Greater Manchester area. In fact, all those expelled were promoters of VoF and did a large amount of activism to make sure it reached the general public and helped boost the profile of the BNP.

Even Huddersfield (South Kirklees) Organiser Robert Walker was called a ‘naughty name’ by Nick Griffin when he did not buy Griffin’s nonsense, though South Kirklees are always near the top of the VoF sales league. Oh dear Nick, something really is not stacking up.

So there we have it – Griffin says that the rebels hate VoF and think it is too soft, yet the proof shows otherwise.

However, this is not all. If those who hate VoF should not want to sell it or promote it and are in fact hardliners who need expelling, then I think Nick should have checked a little closer to home. When John Walker was Wales Regional Organiser, the whole of Wales took precisely 0 (that is zero) VoF for units to sell. Thankfully now that Brian Mahoney and Bill Murray are running the show in Wales, things have come on tremendously and units do take VoF to sell and distribute. What don’t you like about VoF John?

Dave Hannam is to political activism what Roy Chubby Brown is to the English National Ballet. Needless to say his contribution to the sale and promotion of VoF does not register. However, he was good at charging units for VoF that they had never ordered, making more money for Head Office. Maybe he was put off activism due to his one brief liaison with it ending up with him in jail for distributing a ‘Nazi’ style leaflet? Remind me again Nick, who are the hardliners? And what don’t you like about VoF Dave?

Arthur Kemp, Lee Barnes, Simon Darby et al – what do you all despise about VoF, seeing as you do so little to promote or sell it?

The real reason for Griffin’s ill thought out accusation, as Griffin the Liar knows too well, is that Griffin desperately wants to keep Martin Wingfield on board for the sake of his iron like grip on BNP publications. If Martin can be convinced that we ‘rebels’ all hate VoF then he is more likely to ‘hate’ us and thus allow Griffin to spread his bile and lies in VoF. John Bean is already behind Nick (I am not going to criticise John as he has been a good servant of the Cause and long-term Nationalist so being temporarily duped by Griffin the Liar, while unfortunate, will not undo all his hard work and commitment) and I have the utmost respect for both Martin and Tina Wingfield, who I have always found to be courteous, professional and efficient. However, it is only because they don’t speak out about the incompetence and rotten core of the Griffin cabal (though they will not know the full extent of it as they do not have to put up with it every day) that their jobs are safe.
If Griffin can win over Martin then he has the four publicity mediums in his vice-like control. BN – Kenny Smith was the editor (someone who spoke out against Nick often), yet now it is Nick’s ‘special friend’ Mark Collett. The website is now in the hands of two non-British Griffin ‘Yes-men’ Arthur Kemp and Emmanuel Brun d'Aubignosc after Steve Blake (who also often spoke out about Nick’s actions) was sacked. Identity is the realm of John Bean and Collett. So that just leaves VoF! Did someone somewhere mention Griffin acting like a dictator?

The London Elections

Griffin seems to have used the London elections as the smokescreen for his cleansing from the BNP of any known ‘No’ men. If it was next year he would scream “it was all a plan to stop us winning seats in Europe”. If it was the year after, he would scream “these local elections are vital for us and this little clique has tried to bring the BNP down right before we start campaigning etc”. Basically, Griffin has acknowledged that he wanted rid of Sadie and Kenny a while ago (I was already out of the way) as it seems both Sadie and Kenny asked too many questions. All in all, this whole thing was a plan by Griffin to make it look as though people who only really wanted rid of Mark Collett (I’ll put my hand up to that), a better internal structure, and a more competent and transparent Treasury Department, were really after running the BNP and turning it into a Hitler Worshipping Club. Well, either that or they all work for Searchlight and were trying to wreck the BNP! I have said it before and I’ll say it again – Mark Collett has done more damage to the BNP than any Searchlight mole or State Asset could ever do.

All the ‘personnel’ changes were planned well in advance by Griffin, make no mistake about it. He could not do as he wished and not be questioned if certain people remained in the BNP yet he knew that they would not just up sticks and leave – after all they are the people with the best interests of the BNP at heart. Thus he had to plan. He had to invent a ‘plausible’ story. He has to make those sacked/expelled out to be the vilest of all things otherwise people would wonder just what on earth was going on. Griffin has a track record of calling people thieves, Searchlight moles, cranks etc. when they leave a prominent role in the BNP – after all he has to be seen as the saving grace, not the person who caused many good people to leave. No doubt if the BNP do not manage to make a breakthrough in London this May – Griffin has a ready made excuse. After all, he couldn’t blame himself for all this could he?

A Blind Eye

Griffin the Liar seems to think that by suggesting that info was leaked by the ‘rebels’ to the far left will somehow make people believe it and thus scowl with derision. He goes on about info from AC meetings being leaked and ending up in our enemy’s hands. He says that one of the ‘rebels’ must have been doing this and that is why he had to take action. He says that he knew about this and suspected it for a while. Damn right he knew about something not being quite right. In January 2006 there was a security meeting in West Yorkshire. Those in attendance were Griffin, Darby, Martin Reynolds, Barnes, Nick Cass and I. There were two main topics of conversation. One was how to tighten up the Form 3 regulations. The second was that Griffin “was sure” Mark Collett was leaking AC information to Joey Owens, and Griffin “was sure” that this was in turn ending up with Searchlight. He tasked two of those present with having a word with Mark to get him to stop it.

So Nick knew that there was a serious potential security breach with Mark (and although Joey Owens was proscribed by Nick Griffin at the time, he knew that Mark still conversed with him - which to me or you would have lead to a serious disciplinary offence). Now weigh this up. Griffin wants to blacken people’s names so accuses them in public of leaking info to our enemy, without any evidence whatsoever. He then says that this was intolerable (which it would be) and that he needed to expel people. However, why the hell was Collett not expelled if this is the case? Why was he not even disciplined? The whole thing stinks. I’d look a bit closer to home for the leak, though then again that would mean dispensing with the services of your ‘special friend’ and we can’t have that now, can we? However, the most pertinent question Nick is this: What on earth has Collett got on you?

Deliberately Leaked Resignation Email

Nick Griffin has accused me of deliberately leaking my resignation email, which he claims contained disgraceful lies and misinformation. I can honestly say that I did not leak that email to anyone. That is the honest truth and people can have my word on it. (That is my word Nick, not your word, as the former can be taken as gospel the latter should not be trusted). Also the resignation letter did not contain any lies (you seem to think that the claim about Mark making money from leaflets is libellous, yet I never said I could prove it with firm evidence, just that I would ‘stake my life on it’ based on the things which I had seen, heard and experienced – and Mark Collett HAS made money from leaflets in the past. There is a difference and as Mark’s reputation would unlikely suffer, being as low as it is, then your claim for libel (don’t forget you have libelled me and both you and Collett have slandered me with your Searchlight/State Asset and various other accusations) does not stack up – though feel free to try it as my legal representative would have a field day with that one. The email was an internal email and was sent through the proper channels to AC members only.

Griffin and the North West

Did someone somewhere mention Nick that you were acting like a dictator? Please can you explain to me how come you are now the North West Regional Organiser? Chris Jackson was voted as the North West Regional Organiser at the last proper Regional Council Meeting, by a massive majority (that is by his peers). Since then, you have stepped in and declared that you are the North West RO! Yet you live in Wales? Has it got anything to do with the fact that the BNP website boldly announced that you were going to spearhead the Euro Elections push with you as the Number 1 North West Euro candidate?

Hang on one minute, when were you elected as the Number 1 candidate, or does your title insist that it is you who should be there by default? You seem to think that it is your right to get prime chance of a big salary and live it up in Brussels and Strasbourg. Why did the Voting Members of the North West, the Councillors, the Officials, not get a chance to vote on who they wanted to represent them, like you said they would on internal emails? All the existing Councillors, and Officials in the North West should all have a chance to put up for that position (as they should in any region). How will they feel now? You don’t even live in the North West! Also, if you can’t run the Party properly when in the country for a whole year, how the hell are you going to run it when you’re only in the country half the year?! Or is the plan to leave your ‘special friend’ and ‘successor to your throne’ in charge in your absence?

Bugging Personal Conversations

A few people have commented that although Sadie and Kenny were wrong to set up the blog outlining what a liability Mark Collett was, they were right in thinking it. However, I can assure anyone that all proper channels were used, repeatedly in fact, to bring things to the attention of Griffin about the incompetence of Treasury and the walking liability that is Mark Collett. Sadie and Kenny were on the verge of getting sacked for asking too many questions and exposing the likes of Hannam and Collett too many times, thus what choice did they have? They could have resigned in protest for sure, yet I did that and it did not matter one bit.

All that happened is that Nick went around saying that I was no big loss and when it got out that I had criticised Collett, Hannam & Walker, the former two at least started telling all that would listen that I was a Searchlight grass! I have an email (on my personal computer – BNP Security please take note) from Dave Hannam gloating “well I’m going round telling everyone you’re a Searchlight grass!” This was after I had emailed about £45 that York had been overcharged for May election leaflets. The money had been taken by Vanguard Promotions, Mark Collett’s trading name – though neither Dave nor Mark would reply to sort it out, and when Dave did eventually reply, nothing was done. Thus Mark Collett had made money out of York election leaflets, (the money was returned in October, seven months after being taken though only after constant badgering from me) £45 in fact on one transaction – did I hear you say something about libel Nick? When I reported the Hannam email to Griffin his reply was “What goes around comes around”. Indeed it does Griffin.

Now, back to the subject matter – bugging personal conversations. The last I had seen of this, Griffin is claiming that “someone anonymously sent in a recording”. This is very very doubtful. In fact no, it is bullsh*t.
A) If they had of done then Griffin would have claimed this right away, rather than waiting until now. After all most people think that Sadie was bugged as until now Griffin has not convincingly denied it and it is the only logical explanation. If it was the case they has received an anonymous tape then they would have made it clear from the outset and thus there would have been fewer accusations about bugging. Or did the recording come courtesy of the State? This is a question that is actually quite serious and is not intended as light humour – maybe it was not the BNP who bugged Sadie, yet those who knew that this could be a situation to exploit considering they surely know what Collett holds over Griffin and that Griffin would have acted in this way.
B) However, during the North West Stage Show, Griffin stated “I’d bug again if it meant getting rid of traitors” – to which a few members of the BNP drinking club tried to start a round of applause. Undone by your own words Nick. That is unless you have bugged someone else in the past perhaps? Was it someone who has criticised Mark? Or were they being critical of you? Or are you becoming stuck in a web of lies? My Mother always says that if you lie you have to cover your tracks and you will eventually be caught out. Why are Mother’s always right?

Triumph of the Will

On an email from Lee Barnes sent to Yorkshire Officials before the now infamous Leeds meeting, someone pulling the strings referred to me as Ian “I get my inspiration from Triumph of the Will” Dawson. This, to me, just shows exactly the type of rotten and corrupt charlatans we are up against. I will clarify where this came from. In June 2006 I stayed at ‘the house’ on Deeside (North Wales) for one night to go over some of the jobs that I would be doing in my then new Group Support role. I refer to it as ‘the house’ as this is the same one that is lived in rent-free by various Griffin ‘Yes’ men while all the ‘No’ men are struggling to pay their mortgages.

Dave Hannam had been sent a copy of the film ‘Triumph of the Will’ and he had it playing in the background. I had never seen the film before and have not since so it is a little strange how I can “get my inspiration from it”. I never actually watched the entire film or even the most of it, as it was on in the background (Dave Hannam had put it on) and we had some serious work to do re. handover of roles. Therefore the film belonged to Dave Hannam, and was put on by Hannam in the house he was ‘renting’ at the time. I have not seen the whole film, or even most of it, so how can I get “my inspiration from it”? I do, however, get my inspiration from seeing good overcome evil and that Griffin, is why I’ll never allow you and your lies to go unchallenged.

Emails

Griffin the Liar has insinuated that I was passing on information from people’s BNP accounts to the opposition and that I was always trying to get people to use BNP accounts so that I could monitor what was going on. I find this an incredible insult. I spent literally hours, usually at unsociable times, helping people with email problems. I did this because I am professional at what I do and had been tasked to do it. Nick Griffin himself wanted more people on BNP emails as this was more secure than using third party providers such as Hotmail etc. Both Steve Blake and I agreed and also suggested it looked more professional on leaflets than a random @hotmail.com address. Griffin’s accusations can be dismissed quite easily.
A) There were quite a few Fund-Holders who wanted bnp.org.uk emails, as well as Organisers and Contacts. However, providing all the Fund-Holders with an email address would have created double the amount of work and double the amount of hassle. I was already overstretched and email problems took up an alarming amount of my time. Thus I said no to all requests saying that the priority was for every unit to have an address, not every Official. If I had wanted more information from more accounts, then surely I would have said Yes to all these requests?
B) I was tasked, by Griffin, with getting new passwords for all high-ranking officials (incl. all AC Members) in the days when people could not change their own passwords. After initially drawing passwords up, I then declined to proceed and said that I was not comfortable with knowing so many passwords. I said this to Nick Griffin, and emailed him the reason also. I instead emailed all AC Members asking them to contact Emmanuel who would change the passwords rather than them going through me. Surely if I wanted to monitor emails then I would have jumped at the chance of knowing everyone’s email password who sat on the AC!
C) Instead of changing the passwords of all ‘high-ranking’ officials, it was decided that it would be better if Emmanuel would set up a password changing capability for all existing users. When it was set up I immediately emailed all bnp.org.uk email addresses with the new facility details. I then made sure that it went out in at least two Organiser’s Bulletins. Surely the last thing I would want is for everyone to be able to change their email password if I was going to lose ‘my sources of information’!

Now that both Steve Blake & I have gone, Griffin seems to have abandoned the use of BNP emails by Officials. He has done this for two reasons. Firstly, there is no one left to sort people’s problems out and thus the last thing Nick wants is people complaining to those that are left and it looking like Griffin had sacked/expelled the wrong people. Secondly, by trying to insinuate that people have been violated by ‘this clique’ he wants to foster a sense of togetherness by all those who had a BNP email address. Clever stuff yet still bullsh*t.

Also, the man making these accusations is the person now responsible for going through Sadie’s personal ntlworld.com emails and printing alleged emails from that account online! I notice that Nick has used alleged comments by Sadie in private emails to try and ‘win over’ other officials e.g. Peter Mullins. Even if these emails are indeed genuine, they are completely selective. Shall I go on about the emails from Sadie that I genuinely have where she recognises what hard work Peter Mullins does, that he is a nice guy and that anyone would struggle in the South West as it still such a nice English political back-water? We all fall out with people on occasion and say things we should not. It is usually the case that for every bad comment that you should not have made about someone, there are ten cases where you have been complimentary. Yet Griffin, in complete desperation is resorting to saying “Do you know what such and such says about you in private? Well if not, I am going to ignore all the good comments they say and show you this!”

Bank Statements

Despite Griffin having no evidence for it, he has said to some people that I was doctoring bank statements to make Dave Hannam look incompetent. Qoute “When Ian Dawson was sending them out for other areas, the same was happening”. What a complete disgrace you are Griffin. You are not fit to call yourself a Nationalist. The main reason that I resigned was because of Dave Hannam’s incompetence, and now you try to blame it on me!! Well Nick, I really have no need to help make Hannam look incompetent, he does a fantastic job himself. I certainly have never doctored any bank statement whatsoever. I guess that I had also cut Dave Hannam’s mobile phone off so that he never answered it (you say that Steve Blake was hard to get hold off yet you fail to mention that he was only part-time unlike Hannam and thus he has a website business to run and clients to see in order to make a living), or did I sneak into Hannam’s house and delete his VoiceMails every day so that he could never return them? Maybe I was stealing the Petty Cash Books out of his local Post Box? Maybe I was also working in the bank and losing all the cheques he was paying in? Maybe, just maybe, I was able to control what Dave Hannam said and thus made him lie to people about things being ‘in the post’. Come on Nick, get real.

Here are some of the complaints that I and others have regularly brought to your attention regarding the incompetence of Dave Hannam, yet you have not done anything about it and are now trying to blame it on other people who have seen through you:

It is very hard to track Dave down at times, he is often un-contactable for long periods, he rarely responds to voicemails or emails and does not get back to people with answers to their questions. Even though one question from a Fund-Holder may seem trivial, the reality is that our local officials are primarily concerned with their local group, and if they are not getting help or feedback then they are going to become displeased regardless of how busy other people are or make out to be.

Petty cash books and paying in books take an infuriatingly long time to get sent to new units. This leads to a high number of complaints when all that is needed is once every ten days to send a treasury pack to new units. Also, people complain that they don’t get things returned within a reasonable timescale when they submit things for auditing etc. Examples of units to complain about the lateness of treasury packs includes Southend, Exeter, Nuneaton, Castle Point, West Lindsey, Yorkshire, Richmond, Solihull, New Forest etc. etc.

Length of time to process standing order forms for North Yorks and East Mids, for every month that is lost the cost can be £000’s.

Mistakes on bank balances, and bank balance not being sent out often enough or up to date. This is a major bugbear in that local groups often get bank balances that are wrong. This is of especially great concern to me, as it is myself that sends them out and often gets the complaints back in. Many groups complain that money has not been credited to their account that they have banked, that things have not been explained in full on the account, and regional officials often complain that agreed local to regional transfers have not been completed. This is one of the most important roles of the regional treasurer and it is one that at the moment is not being done competently in any shape or form. The statements sent through for me to send out in August were shockingly bad – they had to be sent back twice with a long list of corrections that needed to be done. Lincoln for example, have had a nightmare time with the management of their account.

The fact that statements are rarely up to date and seldom correct means that unit debt is difficult to control. It becomes impossible to know who is, and who is not struggling financially, and thus sending out publications each month becomes a lottery. For the first time in a long while this month I have accounts to work from to make sure that struggling units either get publications stopped or reduced. I have seen it said that Group Support ‘sees it fit to send things out when the unit has not the money’ yet as I have no up to date or correct statements to work from, there is little that I can do.

Dave often lies. This is an exceptionally infuriating trait that makes already annoying situations ten times worse. Instead of saying that something has not yet been done, people are often told ‘is in the post’ or ‘I’ve just sorted it now’, when in reality nothing has been done. This then means that people are under the illusion that they will be receiving documents in the next couple of days only to find that nothing arrives as nothing has been sent.

Cheques not being cashed – ***** in London and ******* in Basildon are two examples of people who have sent in large cheques without them being cashed.

All in all, things have to be repeated several times before anything happens, and then if it ever finally gets done, it is usually incorrect. There is a great consensus locally, regionally and indeed nationally that the incompetence has become too much and needs addressing ASAP. This is not a personal vendetta it is incompetence on a level that can no longer be ignored.

People Back on Board

You make the claim that some people who had initially been ‘duped’ by this ‘rebel faction’ have now changed sides. This is complete nonsense. I know for sure that most of them are not on anyone’s ‘side’ – they just want to get one with their local political work and are not prepared to let that go because the man at the top is a Pratt. You suggest that they are on your side yet things could not be further from the truth – they are sick of this entire situation, though they don’t want to be involved by and large. How many of them will vote for you in June I wonder?

The Nick Griffin Party or the British National Party?

Despite Griffin thinking that he is above the rules of the BNP, of the UK in general, and of natural justice, I can assure him that the BNP is not his Party. It belongs to the membership, the activists and the local officials, just as much as it does Griffin. He is running it like a dictatorship yet it is running out of steam. He is getting stuck in the web of lies that he has strung. He is clearly paranoid and deluded. Nick - if you won’t ditch Collett and Hannam then the Party will ditch you.

While I agree wholeheartedly that Griffin is the best politician we have in the Party, and one of the best political speakers, his man-management skills and general running of the Party is a disaster. Those who did so much to hold it together for so long have all been expelled. I would much rather have a 25% reduction in the ‘politician quality’ of our leader if the ‘organisational and management capacity’ of the leader increased by 200%. Talking of great speakers, one great speaker no longer in the BNP is Jonathan Bowden. Mind you, once Griffin got wind of a rumour that Jonathan was considering standing for leadership there were some nasty rumours spread on the web about Jonathan and when he had resigned over it, Nick did next to nothing to bring him back on board. That tends to be the case when Nick things his divine authority is threatened. Chris Jackson stood against Nick and then he and his supporters were labelled ‘vermin’ in public after the election. If Nick thought this then why on earth make it public – what is there to gain? Nick has to rid the BNP of any opposition to his rule, and stamps down on anyone showing a desire of leadership. He has to protect a small clique of trouble causers because ultimately they know “where his skeletons are buried”. This is not Democracy, it certainly isn’t Meritocracy. It is a Dictatorship and Griffin is the Dictator.

Splitting Nationalist Parties

The common denominator in the major splits in Nationalism over the last few decades is Nick Griffin. I am fully aware that many new members, supporters and officials think that Nick can do no wrong. However, after finishing this article I shall go back to reading some excellent commentary from John Tyndall who exposes Griffin for what he is – that he has used the exact tactics he is using today to try and split Parties in the past. I am only halfway through reading it as the article is colossal though once this article that I am writing now has had a couple of days to be digested then it will be posted in full on the enoughisenoughnick blog. While Nick likes to make out that he is saving the day it is in fact his flawed personality that leads to situations like this, and will continue to do so in the future, unless of course we rid Nationalism of this liar for good.

Show Trial

At some point in the future I will be attending, with my legal representative, a show trial dubbed a ‘disciplinary tribunal’. I have already been found ‘guilty’ by Griffin as his articles and statements suggest, yet I do not even know the full extent of the charges against me, something that my legal counsel has already picked up on. I was informed of my expulsion on the BNP website. I have not done anything wrong though I am being victimised along with other people who I call comrades and friends. I will fight Griffin to the very last – the British people, and certainly those who are members of the British National Party, deserve better.

Independent Nationalists in Hull

This is a recent Newsletter from Hull BNP. After witnessing first hand Nick Griffin's absurd and deluded 'leadership' at the recent Yorkshire BNP meeting, all the local officials in Hull have resigned their positions.

However, as true Nationalists, they intend to work hard in their local wards and stand as Independent Nationalists in May 2008 at the local elections. They are a credit to British Nationalism and the officials in question have turned Dave Hannam's old stomping ground, which was a poor area for the BNP, into a real 2007 success. They have laid down solid foundations and know that the Cause we are fighting for is bigger than any one man.

Voice of Change is holding a conference on Sunday 27^th January 2008 in Nottinghamshire, starting at 12 noon.

This conference will give you the opportunity to listen to first hand accounts from those who have been sacked and expelled. We will also be holding an hour long ‘Question & Answer’ session, then discussing why the BNP is on a destructive path if it continues with its current tarnished leadership and also the future leadership contest.

The conference will present positive steps for what we do next, so that we get as many people elected as Independent Nationalists in your communities in May as possible.

Entry to this conference, as with all conferences, is only open to those who have applied for admittance in advance. Lies, desperation and more lies - Cllr Sadie Graham responds to Griffins latest attack

This is a brief run-down of the latest bile to pour from the mouth of a once well respected and well-advised political leader, yet who now appears to be nothing more than a delusional, paranoid, corrupted shadow of his former self.

The turning point appears to be some time very shortly after the second trial, with two acquittals, the national press desperate for interviews, donations pouring in and the highest ratings ever for hits on a political party website. It is easy to see why the man who has recently sunk to depths so low just to save his own position and protect Mark Collett, has allowed himself to become so corrupted by the very thing that he said he was incorruptible against, money and power.

The Chairman’s article in this months Identity Magazine is yet another spurious and calculated set of slanderous unsubstantiated lies that it makes you seriously wonder why he continues down this road when everyone knows how utterly ridiculous it all sounds. He knows that much of this is the creation of fantastical tales compiled by the very recently joined members of his School of South African Intelligence, most of it doesn’t even add up let alone resonate even remotely amongst those officials and members who actually know Kenny, Steve, Ian, Nicholla, Matt or myself on a professional or social basis. He knows that our reputations stand up to any accusations that he throws at us, which is the reason why he is now changing tack. Apparently it was now never about us trying to replace Mark Collett and Dave Hannam, it was about us all trying to take over the Party. Do you honestly think that this is plausible, Nick? If we wanted to take over the Party and were so thirsty for power then why didn’t we just go off and start our own party? Or was it because we are searchlight moles? Well of course we are! That’s why I was instrumental in establishing the training and development of our regions, why Kenny was the person responsible for dramatically improving the efficiency of our internal administration, why Steve was responsible for making the our website the most ‘hit’ political party site, why Matt spent his unpaid spare time training volunteer security personnel the techniques to protect your back, why Nicholla worked to develop new lines of stock for Excalibur despite problems with the despatch department, why Ian Dawson filled a desperately needed role for Group Support and did so with thorough competence and diligence. Yes Nick, it really sounds like the work of Searchlight moles, doesn’t it.

None of us are, were or would ever consider giving information to our political opponents. However it is true that no searchlight mole, however deep they were, would have been able to do the damage to the internal workings of the BNP than the likes of Mark Collett and Dave Hannam have done. Worst still is the fact that you ignored all the signs, your inaction and your inability to ‘man-manage’ has led to the greatest treachery of all. You know that you have made a series of grave mistakes and now in the cold light of day, you are going to have to pay for them.

Summer School Review Session Unveiled
The review session was an idea that Griffin, Ian Dawson and myself came up with during a meeting we had with Griffin in Leeds. We held the meeting to address treasury issues and with Griffin agreeing that there were problems it was considered a good idea to give the active membership the opportunity to actually 'tell us’ what they thought the problems were internally and what was needed to be done. What Griffin hasn’t told you is that attendees were told that issues that were ‘treasury related’ were not to be brought up in this session, he said that these issues were already being addressed by the appointment of a new National Fundraiser. To add final insult, all fundholders were removed from this review session and taken to a separate meeting with the two treasury personnel.

Griffin seems to find it easy to write such blatant lies, such nonsense as suggesting that there was never a treasury problem due to incompetence, but that it was simply due to them being 'overworked'. At this point I would like to remind you that Ian Dawson had already taken on a substantial amount of treasury work, a lot of the work that Mark Payne (Dave Hannams predecessor) used to do. Another lie was the regionalising of the treasury department, this has simply not happened. It is yet another poorly thought out grand scheme of Griffin's that never materialises. How convenient that money is found so rapidly to employ another member of staff to help cover up the failings of the treasury department but there was never money to help fund the vital work that our regional organisers do. This was a frequent suggestion of mine that we needed far more part-time paid employees within the regions as it is the regions on the front-line of developing our organisation.

Lie about sabotage of accounts
This malicious and ridiculous nonsense being peddled by Griffin that I somehow ‘tampered’ with unit accounts is entirely laughable. All it would take would be any organiser or fundholder from the East Midlands to request previous excel spreadsheets from treasury and to tally them next to the exact same statements that I sent out to them to prove this. In actual fact, I was only responsible for sending out bank statements to my region four times in total; in other occasions they came directly from treasury.

Why on earth would I deliberately sabotage unit accounts for my region? It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. I was, according to Griffin, the Party's best regional organiser; so why would I mislead my region? Why would I feel it necessary to 'show-up' Dave Hannam's errors when he is perfectly able to do this by himself? Money that I banked for the East Lindsey group after setting them up with a Group Development meeting never materialised into their account. The Bassetlaw group were £300 down for several months. Despite numerous emails to Dave Hannam asking him to correct the errors, I simply gave up asking.

The following is from a previous article I wrote on this blog;

I requested from Dave Hannam, as I always do before a regional meeting, a full update of statements for every unit in the region. He sent them through to me about two hours before the meeting so I printed them out and took them along to the regional meeting. There they were handed out to each of the officials. As usual at the regional meeting there was an outburst of complaints from officials who upon reading their statements realise the glaring errors within them. These errors are often ones that were highlighted previously and they have already brought to the attention of Dave Hannam via email. An example was a £200 donation banked by Broxtowe on the 20th April that was to be transferred into the Ashfield account immediately. Yet again on the November statement it had not been done despite numerous emails from myself to Dave about this. Along with this was complaints from East Lindsey who had not had the £160 banked on the 5th September credited to their account. There were many other complaints which I later relayed to Dave Hannam in an email sometime after the meeting. Some days later I received an email back from Dave along with a few supposedly amended statements. I took a look at them and could see straight away that the errors had not been done. Rather than yet again telling Dave that the errors were still there I just sent them out to the fundholders in the hope that they themselves would take it upon themselves to complain directly to Dave. At this time I already felt that Dave was making it extremely difficult for me to work with him and was refusing to answer many of my emails. I thought that the local officials would have better luck if they contacted him directly.

Thus the amended emails were ‘amended’ by Dave Hannam (though still incorrect) and no-one else. Although they were ‘amended’, they were still wrong, and I was unable to get Dave Hannam to correct them so I handed them out as they were. What more could I do? I know that fundholders in every other region had the same problems yet I never got to see or handle their statements – so what is the Head Office excuse for all the statement errors here? Nick Griffin has simply blamed Ian, myself and several other regional officials that brought this problem to his attention; he is deliberately lying to the membership in a vain attempt to ‘justify’ his actions. Well it simply doesn’t wash, especially with anyone who has worked with me, anyone in my region and anyone who knows exactly what it is like trying to get accurate and up to date statements for their unit from treasury.

Advisory Council Lies
The lie that we were planning to take over the Advisory Council is once again without foundation, and perfectly fits in with Griffins warped theory that we had planned a coup. Everyone knows that this is not true at all. The Party is seriously floundering internally and the problems are emanating from two departments. We knew what the problems were and we knew that the only way the Party could develop and prosper would be to remove those two officials from their posts, Hannam and Collett. Griffin was well aware of the problems, but in his reluctance to act or do anything whatsoever about it, he has exposed his true self as a brittle political leader. He only wants ‘yes-men’ around him. You only have to look at the clique that he now surrounds himself with. Individuals like Kenny, Steve, Ian and myself ,would regularly confront Griffin (including at AC meetings) and we would ask him uncomfortable questions. When Griffin pulled Kenny's and my talk from the Blackpool Annual Conference last year, we didn’t just accept it, we called him to a meeting with us where voices were raised and harsh words were used. He even admitted to us there and then that he was a terrible ‘man-manager’, well tell us something we don't already know!

He is trying to imply that we wanted to fill the Advisory Council with people that were ‘our supporters’. Well seeing as we know what a complete toothless tiger the AC is and the fact that it is only ‘advisory’ would make it pretty pointless in any case filling it with people who would vote Mark and Dave out of their positions. It simply wouldn’t happen with Griffin as leader because according to the Party Constitution that he wrote himself for himself, he has the final say on literally everything. As he stated in his latest article, he wrote this constitution to consolidate his own position and power as Chairman.

Lies and Deception
Griffin has now realised that bragging about bugging officials homes is not looked upon favourably by our membership, and is now changing his story to an ‘anonymous package that they received in the post’. Just how convenient is that! However it is rather too late when he is on film at two separate meetings claiming how he bugged my home and would do it again.

Party re-structure
One of the most bemusing lies in Griffins latest tirade is the claim that whilst he was touring American universities Kenny and I were busy restructuring the Party. Not only was Griffin well aware that the planned talk by Kenny and myself was about the Party structure but we also had discussions about it weeks before he went abroad. Griffin received emails from us on the Monday before the conference but did not see fit to tell us that he was removing our talks until the Friday, just half a day before the actual training day. This was done simply as a deliberate attempt to stop Kenny and myself speaking that weekend and to force us to quit. Remember that both Kenny and I received letters from Griffin just after Ian Dawson resigned, which told us that if we had a problem with Mark Collet, then the best time to go would be now. He wanted us to quit but knew that he couldn’t sack us. Those of you who attended that conference weekend would have noticed that Collett made a point of speaking on virtually every single motion presented, including having the final word on the very last motion. Many of you have commented that this motion was certainly fixed and I am firmly of the belief that the entire second part of the conference was staged.

A motion to set up an internal scrutiny panel to audit our accounts proposed by Griffin and seconded by John Walker, but vehemently opposed by Collett, Kemp and several others. This had all the hallmarks of a set-up motion designed to give the impression that Griffin was appearing reasonable and open to financial probity but the reality was that it was always going to be opposed. Collett had the last word and it was deliberately intended for those of us who knew that we urgently needed more financial probity within the Party. I actually got up to speak after Collett on that final motion but was declined by Simon Darby. Yet again, so much for free speech! Griffin even admits in his latest article that his whole final ‘Are you with me?’ speech was inspired by his knowledge that we were not happy with the situation. Please remember that at this time no blog had been set up and I had just worked extremely hard to organise and set up our most professional conference ever. I had to take bookings for not only the event itself, but the training day, the gala dinner and hotel rooms. I set the agenda and organised the speakers, I liaised with the hotel every week and even travelled there for a meeting with them prior to the event. I organised the entertainment and buffet for Saturday night, I decorated and prepared the conference rooms from Thursday morning and it was even my idea to get the flowers on the Sunday for Nick to present to the hotel owners. He literally walked in on the Friday afternoon and everything was done for him, he walked in with the express intention of 'purging' me, knowing that I would not be happy when he told me that I was no longer speaking, yet I was never going to walk out of that event and leave the Party with no conference organiser. He then temporarily expelled Ian Dawson for the weekend, totally unconstitutionally, just to prevent him from turning up and using his democratic right to vote. He pushed me to the brink that weekend hoping that I would buckle and resign. He did all this knowing that I was four months pregnant, the man acted like a selfish tyrant protecting his own cabal of yes-men. This is the person we now have leading this Party. This is why there is no other option other than a determined and well organised leadership challenge.

Griffin has already condemned us all before we have even had disciplinary tribunals for our memberships. Please don’t for one minute think that we are dealing with a fair minded individual, not at all. The previous article written by Councillor Colin Auty on this blog, spells it out very clearly when he quotes what Griffin stated at the Yorkshire meeting that he would just put a ring around Yorkshire and start again. Griffin would rather see this Party fold just so that he can re-build it with him back as Chairman; well he can try but he wouldn’t have many supporters. This proves beyond any doubt that Griffin is seeking to protect of his own position rather than ensuring the Party prospers.

The British National Party will never grow in strength, organisation and numbers whilst Griffin is allowed to pervert and bend the rules with total impunity, and Collett and Hannam are allowed to damage the Party's internal stability and external reputation. We are committed to saving this Party, we will not be bullied or silenced by the lies spewed by Griffin and his cohorts. I am absolutley sickened by the actions and depths that he has sunk to protect himself.

We have only ever acted in the very best interests of British Nationalism, he has acted only in the interests of greed and self-interest.

Cllr Auty speaks out!

The following was sent to Kenny Smith by one of our highest profile councillors yesterday. Cllr Colin Auty has kindly agreed to let EiE publish it here.

Dear Kenny,

When first joining this party a few years ago, I did so because of a meeting I attended. To sum it up, they were good people wanting a change from political parties spin and mistruths that were letting them down, people that would stand up and say it as it really is and not skirt issues in case they were pushed from the financial trough of politics. And so to me a lifeline of hope was given.

When elected two years later as councillor for Dewsbury, I thought right, now I have a chance to tell it as it is. Someone called me a politician, no said I, I am not a politician; a politician is someone who will see a donkey in the street and try to convince people it's a dog in order to further their own ends or ambitions.

So I have in the last 20 months done what I set out to do, I call it as I see it. Through this endeavour, along with our regions activists, I have managed to bring about respectability to the BNP and we are now very much electable. These people are the salt of the earth as are my two fellow councillors in Heckmondwike, David Exley and the ex-Tory warhorse Roger Roberts.

Between us we have created a family in Kirklees. We may agree to disagree at some meetings, but we always remain friends, that way we move forward in unison. If we had been senior management, things would never have developed in the way it has nationally, the leadership has created a "for us or for the Rebels" conflict, putting brother against brother and sister against sister.

Nick Griffin himself told a Yorkshire meeting in Leeds, he would “put a ring around Yorkshire and start a fresh, we did it before and would do so again if need be". So said he! Why? Just because we raise concerns and demanded answers (WHATEVER HAPPENED TO FREE SPEECH, step forward Mick Simpson).

Well I refuse to accept that insult, I refuse to accept you can talk this way to people, who through all kinds of weather have distributed thousands and thousands of leaflets, sold VoF and generally raised funds in order to make this party electable. And all this in their own time, for no pay, indeed, I know many for whom it costs money to be pro-active. I have known relationships nearly break under the strain and many take verbal insults and who have been attacked (step forward Ian Dawson) and yet these people carry on regardless.

I witnessed Cllr Chris Beverley and Ian Dawson branded as VERMIN, as neo-Nazis and incompetent at running a business, not by the opposition, but our own leader (shame on you for that Nick, many up here won't forgive).

This whole sorry business could have been so easily avoided; I myself put it to Nick Griffin in a text and spoke to Arthur Kemp at the early stage of it all. I said why not bring Sadie, Kenny etc. back on board, then suspend them pending an internal enquiry by an INDEPENDENT panel (must be totally independent of Nick Griffin). This would also incriminate Mark Collett and David Hannam, for they too would have to answer for their alleged misconduct and incompetence. When sorted out a statement could have been issued through our regions, so democracy and transparency have been seen to have taken place.

So what's so difficult about that... as I see it, nothing other than a vendetta would prevent that happening. DEMOCRACY as to be seen not dictatorship. The public won't have that. All I have seen from the senior level is spin and flannel. I refer back to where I started, mainstream parties and what the public want and duly expect.

Personally, I am very unhappy about these events. The leadership appears to hold the emotional blackmail of patriotism over many good people who feel like myself. A storm in a teacup Mr G, don't think so!

January Glasgow meeting report

A gathering of what would normally have been a Glasgow BNP monthly meeting gave their full support to Kenny and Nicholla Smith and the other expelled BNP dissenters on Thursday the 10^th.

The meeting, presided over by the now resigned former officials of Glasgow BNP, came to hear Kenny speak about the recent, sad events. He explained some of the history of the internal problems before going into detail about the recent events that led to the unlawful sackings. He also took time out to scotch the smears and lies being spread by the Griffin cabal.

Kenny closed his heartfelt speech by reading out the official statement of the modernising dissenters. This statement which called for leadership change within the BNP. A question and answer session was held immediately afterwards. No question went unanswered and nothing was left off the table. Kenny’s honesty and passion shone through as usual.

Only two people from the 30 people attending voiced opposition to this call and one of those was a non-member. The other stated they would have had more sympathy for the expelled had they informed him of the situation beforehand. However the sensible credo for any organisation and especially ones that rely on voluntary activists has always been good news down, bad news up. It had been hoped these matters could have been dealt with internally and officials cannot be expected to rally activists to action by telling them there are problems above.

It was unanimously agreed that the monthly meetings would continue as normal but without the BNP affiliation. The new independent nationalist activists will continue to be active in the city spreading the nationalist message.

Last weekend 5/6^th January saw the first meeting of like minded people determined to save our party, the British National Party from its current destructive path, including some of those apparently expelled from the Party by the leadership on December 22^nd.

A long day of talks led to a constructive initial plan of action aimed to restore the BNP to its founding principles of morality, integrity, democracy and freedom of speech that is the basis of modern nationalism.

Every single individual expelled in recent weeks is determined to have their own membership reinstated through formal grievance procedures, acknowledging that this may involve costly legal action.

In regard to publicity activities it was concluded that while the temporary blog enoughisenoughnick.blogspot.com has served its purpose in allowing those who have fundamental issues regarding the internal management of the Party, a voice on the Internet, the message of the modernisers has been far too defensive and reactive; merely responding to the smears and lies perpetrated by the Griffin cabal. This blog will give way to a more pro active web site in due course.

Those expelled will not be forming another Party; the British National Party is a recognised brand name and is the only vehicle for the political survival of our people in our homeland.

We recognise the success which Nick Griffin has achieved for the BNP throughout his tenure of the past seven years, but the extraordinary sequence of events of the past few months can only lead a rational observer to conclude that Mr. Griffin is now unfit for that position.

The internal management of the Party has been revealed to be fundamentally flawed and repeated calls for change have been ignored by the leader. Thus the only possible course of action to save the Party and secure a future for our people is to launch a leadership challenge.

Those expelled are determined to get their membership status restored. Thereafter once back as members in good standing there will be a challenge to the Party Leadership. In the event of those expelled being denied their membership or delaying tactics in disciplinary proceedings an existing current member will be taking up the baton to launch a leadership challenge in 2008 with a view to implementing the changes.

Plans

Voice of Change is the name of the newly launched independent pressure group to help bring about the leadership challenge and to provide support and resources for patriots who wish to stand as candidates in local elections throughout 2008.

A new web site will be launched in mid-January as the main publicity operation of the new group.

We ask everyone to renew their BNP membership for 2008 but as far as promoting the BNP “brand” is concerned it is case of temporarily ceasing activity, a campaign of minimum maintenance to keep units together, even if just on a social basis.

Local political work, however, that is not overtly party-political, needs to be stepped up in order for us to continue to sink roots in our local communities and plant the seeds that will ensure the future victory of our cause.

The foundation of the existing deceitful and corrupt cabal is money and in order to bring about change it is essential to starve Central HQ of funds. Therefore we call on members not to make donations to central office above and beyond the membership fee.

Everyone has a fundamental choice regarding their own position but individuals who stand on, promote and fund the Griffin BNP by default support the bugging of officials, illegal entry of homes, theft of personal possessions, threats of violence, immorality, perversion, incompetence in staff, lies and smears, witch hunts against members the leadership don't like, mismanagement and wastefulness of funds and personnel, unconstitutional sackings and expulsions, a tyrannical approach and decades of anti-Semitic and Neo-Nazi baggage the Party cannot afford to carry if it aims to be a serious political party.

Voice of Change have arranged a meeting in Nottinghamshire on 27^th January for concerned party members and officials to attend.

Under discussion will be ways in which we can pressure the leadership into listening to the membership, including

A message to Nick from Wigan BNP

Wigan BNP Activists: Extraordinary General Meeting

Dear Nick,

As you are aware we have been extremely distressed over the discord in the party during the past month and it has only been our faith in Nationalism and its importance for our future that has kept us from throwing in the towel. We have read both sides of the dispute and have been struck by the difference in tone between them.

The intemperate language employed by Simon Darby in his blog when he first accused the “rebels” of being “Nazis" and the following day “Searchlight moles” does not incline one to believe other statements he makes. A blog full of contradictory statements is to say the least unpersuasive.

By contrast the “enoughisenough” blog is a lesson in restraint with no extreme or unbelievable statements. There is certainly no evidence of an attempt to take over the party. Admittedly it was foolish and wrong to start the blog. It would have been much better to resign in protest over the failings of Mark Collett and Dave Hannam but it was even more foolish to publish details of the dispute on the BNP web site for all to see and to brand those who support Sadie et al as Nazis. To then offer these Nazis an amnesty if they returned to the fold seems to be the height of political naivety and would surely be used against us by our opponents.

The appearance of South African security people in the higher echelons of our party is a certain vote loser and will also be exploited by our opponents.

Why do we need all this security and spying on our neighbours? We are a legitimate party and if we behave as such we should have no fear of the machinations of our opponents and have no secrets worth spying on.

We do NOT believe Sadie, Kenny and matt are Nazis or Searchlight moles, indeed they have been hard working and a credit to the party as have Nick Cass, Jonathan Bowden, Bev Jones, Richard Purdy and many others who are not now with us. We can not afford to lose good people such as these.

The only people who have brought the party in to disrepute are Mark Collett and Dave Hannam but they remain in the party.

On the website it says that no person is above the party and we heartily agree. We can’t see therefore why these two remain an exception to the rule. If they cared about the Party they would take a back seat or are they agents of the state? They have certainly caused more strife than any one from MI5 could have done.

In spite of the above, we remain committed to the Party and you as leader but our enthusiasm is much diminished.

Just think what we could achieve without this dissent.

The feeling of our group and prospective members is that while good workers are being sacked and trouble causers retained we will make no progress. We are losing members because of this and several people who indicated the intention of joining no longer wish to do so.

We resolve therefore to keep our group going on a minimum maintenance basis but feel we are wasting our time in actively campaigning until matters are resolved.

Tom Linden responds to Griffin's New Year Message

Firstly where do I start, well you claim that you are being called a Nazi amongst other smears but that is exactly what you and Darby have been calling hard working nationalists like us and it is totally wrong of you to do that.

My family fought against the Nazis! How dare you call me that! We do not loathe Voice of Freedom, we have been 'selling' it up and down the country for years both door-to-door and on the streets of Britain; not the actions of people who loathe it, is it? In fact it is solely because of our efforts that VoF sales have never been so good.

Who say's that 'we' hate Jews? We have not said this, it is another smear!

As for Great White Records, yes some songs are very catchy indeed especially those song by the popular Councillor Auty, but there has been no break through in GWR sales. Well if there has we have not seen it on the balance sheets have we? We are not bitterly hostile to Dave Hannam’s efforts in GWR although as you come to mention it, his lack of ability within the Treasury Department has caused much trouble up and down the country for groups and branches.

I don't know about you Nick and what you have said in the past, but Mark Collett is a different case altogether. Either you or his up line management failed him and the party by allowing him to take part in 'Young Nazis and Proud'. Or was given carte blanche by you to do whatever he likes even then? Which is it? This film alone, forgetting all the other public mistakes he has made have made him unelectable – even BNP members in the ward he contests in Leeds refuse to vote BNP because he is the candidate - and attached media smears and tag lines to us for years. It is this 'Collett the Nazi' smear that we must counter on door steps in campaign after campaign.

Let me remind you Nick, we have not 'bugged' anyone, we have not entered anybody’s home by deception, we have not removed private property from anyone’s home, we do not need a 'secret' South African 'internal security unit' - what's that all about then? - we have not expelled anyone for daring to object or voice views which differ from our views, we have not smeared anyone on national TV unlike your new Press Officer Simon Darby.

You dare to say that we 'infest' and 'discredit', but have you not forgotten who we are. We are the BNP's Heads of Departments, Elected Councillors, Organisers, Fundholders, Press Officers, Contacts, Forum Moderators. We have helped make the BNP what it is today; electable and we did it through hard work, dedication and determination.

You may say otherwise but we are the British National Party too, that's right, paid up members and activists, it is our party as much as it is every other activist and members party and we would have followed you without question, but you have let us down badly, you have failed to stick to the parties own rules, you have allowed your best people to be smeared in the national media and on the BNP website – some of it by your own words and actions. You have sacked hard working employees of the party out of hand, without reference to the party’s own rules and regulations.

So we can 'not' be Nazis then can we, as surely you would not seek to surround yourself with so many Nazis would you? Most of the rest of your message blunders around the Nazi issue and is not worthy of further comment.

As to the names and address of members being 'provided' or 'sold' to a third party, it sounds like total rubbish to me. Why would 'we' do that then? We are the people who have had to counter the 'Nazi' smear are we not? We are 'not' Jew haters just Nationalists.

You only need look at who received this 'filth', it was sent to members old addrresses, or addressed in their maiden names or even to 'non-members'. Don't you think that if a 'list' of names and address had been provided or sold that it would have been up-to-date, I would.

The worrying thing about this whole affair is that this filth was mainly sent to those members who had protested loudest and resigned or where sacked as party officials. It was these people who were thinking they were being set up for a raid that who point to them being Nazis for having that filth in their homes!

So where do we go from here? As much as it hurts me to say so, I feel that there is no way back for us and we will need to make serious decisions very soon for the very sake of our cause and our people’s very existence.

The man who failed to verify the facts

John Bean’s latest contribution to the BNP web site has surprised many members. The ease in which he repeated the lies peddled to him by Nick Griffin about us all being Nazis and left wing agents (go figure that one!) without proper investigation has damaged his reputation for journalistic integrity.

Worse still for those of us who stand accused, is the fact that we know he knows, that the accusations are completely baseless. Yet he has taken the Griffin lie and put his name to it in another public display of political foolishness by the Griffin clique.

We say foolishness because as has now become customary, the latest lie is so easily scorched by evidence that is already in the public domain for anybody who cares to investigate.

The latest lie to support their false claim that we modernisers are Nazis is to say that Steve Blake removed an article posted on the BNP website condemning those who promote anti-Semitism while he was Web Editor.

Griffin wrote on the BNP website on the 31^stof December: “It should have been on our site permanently already but our former web editor, after only publishing it under pressure from me, twice secretly ‘spiked’ the article. Thus the most serious attempt to put behind us the mutually supporting vicious circle of gentile anti-Semitism and Jewish hostility to gentile nationalism since NF founder AK Chesterton published his ‘The Tragedy of Anti-Semitism’ was repeatedly sabotaged by an individual now running an anti-BNP blog propagating the myth that I stand in the way of modernising the BNP.”

While the entire 'old site' was removed from public viewing on Dec 9th by the new 'Griffin team', the internet still holds the site intact at various points in the past and it is there we can find the article where it has always been since it was first posted on the 21^st of March 2006 by Steve, without any pressure having to be applied by Herr Griffin.

In another example of the new 'Griffin team' tactics employed by the Griffin clique can be found on the BNP website by searching for “by their fruits”. Note how they claim the article was reposted on the 10^th of November 2007 after the previous web editor was replaced… well remember too that Steve was not booted out without notice until the 9^th of December 2007.

Cllr Sadie Graham counters the dirty personal attacks and smears

Many BNP members including visitors to this blog are still confused about recent events and have had to endure the lies that are being peddled by Griffin, Barnes and his entourage of other misinformed or devious cohorts, so I want to take this opportunity to set the record straight on exactly what I have done for the party. Those of you who have been involved in some of our national events and who are local or regional officials will have already had dealings with me on a professional level at some time or another. However there are many people now embroiled and involved in all this who may not be entirely aware of even who I am or what position I held within the party. This is certainly not intended as any kind of trumpet-blowing exercise, far from it. In fact, it is because I am not the kind of person to shout from the rooftops that has led to this being the first real insight into what I actually did do for the BNP.

East Midlands Organiser

I took on this role when it was offered to me by my predecessor and sanctioned by Nick Griffin back in 2004. One of the first tasks that I undertook was to make sure that the regional officials met together once every two months for a regional council meeting. These have taken place without fail since that time. We had no councillors in this region, which was considered an election back water at the time and this can be confirmed by our National Elections Officer. Up until two weeks ago we had 17 district, borough and parish councillors in this region largely to do with the vast improvements in efficiency and training that I directly made within the region. I was the first and only regional organiser to hold a training day for our newly elected councillors in May 2007 so that we wouldn’t face the daunting task of taking up our positions completely in the dark. The East Midlands is one of those odd regions where nearly every council elects just every four years, in 2003 we stood only around 20 candidates in the local elections, yet in 2007 we stood over 100 candidates. The East Midlands was praised by Nick Griffin in a text he sent to me on my ‘own personal phone’ on 4^th May 2007; “East Mids leading the way on real grass roots approach. Potential to be bnp new model army”.

The East Midlands is the only region to have a fully functioning fundraising dining club and it was solely down to me that this was re-launched. It currently has over 35 members paying into it. I was also instrumental in setting up a serious fundraising scheme for the Euro Elections whereby each unit has to pay in a set levy every month and also organise a Euro Fundraiser. Griffin has written yet more lies that my recently organised social was full of skinheads! What utter garbage. It was full of members and ordinary decent friends and voters from my ward. If the lies were not so utterly malicious then it would be very amusing. Photos were put up on regional voices at the time which proves his skinhead claim to be another lie (they are also reproduced below). In any case, due to my pushing for the socials, organising the fundraising club and sending out a regional appeal for funds then there would not be the £10,000 plus which is currently sitting in the East Midlands Regional Account waiting to be spent on the Euro Election campaign. Doesn’t really sound like the work of a lazy nationalist, red or state asset does it Mr Griffin?

I was not one to withhold power to myself as Griffin would like you to think, far from it. In fact the East Midlands was one of the only regions to have nearly all the regional positions filled by different dedicated and honest nationalists. I appointed people for the following roles; Regional Elections Officer, Regional Secretary, Press Officer, Fundraiser and Regional Security. To suggest that I wanted to clutch power to myself is a nonsense when I was such a strong advocate of delegation, do everything yourself and you end up doing nothing really well.

When Griffin came to the East Midlands on the 15^th December to berate me in front of a packed Leicester meeting he got a shock because the support that I have within this region is considerable. This is due to nothing more than people seeing first hand the contributions that I have made, the distance I have travelled to talk with them, the fact that I pound the same streets as them in election campaigns and the fundamental principle I stand by which is that no man or woman is greater than the next, we are all in this party for one reason and that is to be the only salvation that this country has from the cesspit that it currently finds itself in.

University Life

There is a ludicrous lie being peddled that I must be a state spy due to the fact that I was left alone at university by reds. This is utterly baseless as I did receive harassment whilst at university but not to the extent that they campaigned to expel me. This was simply due to the fact that I kept my head down whilst I was there and concentrated on doing party work away from campus. It was a decision that I took because I just wanted to get through it without any trouble and complete my degree. I started university in 2000 and stood for election in 2003 when I was only two months away from completing my degree. When it was discovered that I was standing for the BNP a story was run in the student paper (this can be checked online) and my tutors met to discuss whether they would continue teaching me or not.

Group Development Officer

I took on this role in February 2006 after my predecessor Tony Lecomber was removed from the position. I expressed an interest in this role because I could see the improvements that needed to be made and I had already held group development meetings in my role as EM Regional Organiser.

My role as Group Development Officer has been directly attacked. I was informed by several people who attended the North West meeting in Wigan that Griffin stated that ‘I had been a very poor investment as group development officer and had only set up a few units.’ There is just no substance to anything that Griffin or his cabal have written or said about me. They have had my computer (illegally) for over 3 weeks now and have produced nothing from it to suggest that I have done anything to directly harm the party or bring it into disrepute. Whilst they throw mud and malicious lies that simply don’t stick, I can produce evidence upon evidence of the positive and efficient work that I did for the party. You only have to take a look at the Statement of Accounts, finally submitted by Treasury on the Electoral Commission website to see evidence first hand of the work I undertook whilst working for the party. I am the only party officer role that is named on this statement due to the work I did setting up and monitoring our branches and groups.

Just for the record and this is in no way an exhaustive list but the following are just some of the areas where I held Group Dev meetings; Amber Valley (Derbyshire), Walsall, Ribble Valley, East Lindsey (Lincs), Dover & Folkestone, Dartford & Gravesham, Eastbourne, Lincoln, Derby, Nuneaton & Bedworth, Burton Upon Trent, Nottingham, North Shropshire, Alsager & Cheshire, Chesterfield, Peterborough & Fenland, Hereford, Newcastle Under Lyme, Telford, Ashfield, Oxford & Abingdon, Reading, Slough, Newark & Sherwood, Mansfield, Hyndburn, Brackley, Warrington. There were many others as this is just a partial list from memory. There were also many other places were I travelled to speak to give advice on developing their unit or to hold mediation meetings.

One of the first tasks I undertook in my role was an initial review of all units, having discussions with regional organisers about their regions and gaps within them. I also appointed regional organisers in Wales, South East, London, Eastern, South West, Mid-West, as well as seeking new regional officials in other regions including the North West and Yorkshire. I am pleased to say that those appointments have made real improvements within their regions. I was also instrumental in setting up the process of by-monthly regional council meetings and their two yearly inspections. I set up the procedure for new organisers and contacts to receive letters and information informing them of their form 3 applications along with info on how to get started, this later included a computer disk packed with useful forms, templates and guides.

There was very little, if any, regional training taking place before I implemented it starting with elections training seminars that I held in the East Midlands, North East, North West, Scotland and Yorkshire. There were no formalised national training events like the Summer or Winter Schools taking place before I organised them. Anyone who has attended any of them will know how vital they were. This was the aspect of my job that I truly loved the most, knowing that people were attending events voluntarily to learn and develop their skills for the benefit of the party overall. I also organised two of the January Organisers Conferences, which again brought more improvements to the parties training and organisation.

It was Kenny Smith, Head of Admin, and myself who implemented the PGP software encryption procedures so that absolutely no sensitive membership or enquiry data was to be emailed over the internet without first being encrypted. It had long been known that e-mailing data like this was not safe and the previous methods involved burning disks of data and passing them onto each other by hand. Therefore this PGP software sped up the whole process and made it a great deal safer. This totally blows out of the water Griffin’s preposterous lie that we deliberately leaked information or have sold databases when it was us who made our data so much more secure in the first place.

The Modernisers

None of us have disputed the fact that the BNP under Griffin has made significant gains and leaps forward. However this cannot be solely awarded to the work of Griffin alone – in fact Griffin was encouraged to join the BNP by people such as Scott McLean, who he has also attacked, because Scott and many others like Kenny Smith recognised the need for modernisation and they saw Griffin as someone who could lead that modernisation – but what appears to have happened now is that those of us internally who felt that a whole lot more needed to be done to improve our still tainted image simply hit a glass ceiling. Since being expelled – not by formal letter but by reading a BNP website article - I have been inundated with calls from people who feel that there was a quite simple explanation for the main reason why I was dismissed from the party, that being that Griffin saw me as a threat to his position as leader. Whilst I have never made any claims that I have wanted to control this party I can say that I could see very plainly that Nick Griffin was to a certain extent holding the party back and preventing it from progressing beyond what we had achieved just one year ago. The lie that he is presenting that we are somehow the very people that he was trying to rid the party off has to be the most unbelievable of all his lies. He knows this too, so how he sleeps at night I will never know. Especially when it is he who has the criminal record, he that has gone on record denying the holocaust and he who refuses to bring to account those who really do seek to hold the party back, even when the Central Management Team who he appointed, advised him to expel those very two staff members David Hannam and Mark Collett who have brought the party into very serious legal and moral disrepute!

The nonsense about us wanting Councillor Lawrence Rustem expelled has been completely made up. I know Lawrence to be a very hardworking activist and have canvassed alongside him many times in by-elections and he has even come to the East Mids to help me with target election campaigns. He was given honorary membership under John Tyndall's leadership and this has never been questioned by myself or any other colleague involved in this whole affair. Neither has the membership of Councillor Pat Richardson ever been raised by me. I sat alongside Pat at a National Press Conference in April 2006 and know her to be a very brave fellow female councillor.

It is very ironic that Griffin is trying to smear us with the neo-Nazis lie when it is those who he so closely surrounds himself with that have the worst track records and most damaging reputations for the party, the names Mark Collett, Dave Hannam spring to mind. You only have to look at those party officials most recently sacked and the indisputable proof of countless testimonies from other party officials, improved procedures and innumerable evidence that shows it was us that were the real party modernisers. We knew what needed to be done, we tried to get on with doing it but were seriously hampered in the process, now we are being slandered, bugged and burgled for simply daring to stand up for the membership and to Nick Griffin’s totally inept man-management skills. The man claims he supports free speech and democracy; well it certainly doesn’t exist within Griffin’s BNP. However mark my words; it will exist here one day. Griffin’s reign is coming to an end; he is now so politically damaged largely by his own making, that he seriously stands very little chance of being elected to Europe, let alone surviving a future leadership challenge with his current mandate intact. Of course, he has and will continue to resort to using destructive tactics to protect his seat on his throne, but in the process has very seriously damaged the BNP’s electability. The real traitor in this whole affair is Griffin, not for being a red, a neo-Nazi or a state asset but for dismissing the democratic ideals of a free speech party, then removing those who worked the hardest to make improvements and finally destroying so many peoples faith in the belief that the principles and actions of the BNP leadership were honest, moral and honourable.

This fight is far from over. I am still proceeding through legal avenues to have my computer and property returned. The police are still investigating as are proceedings against my wrongful dismissal from my employment. We are in an awkward situation where we do not wish to harm the party, we have our hands tied behind our backs because we still passionately want the BNP to improve and prosper. However, Griffin is trying to force our hand on this as I am simply not just going to walk away from the party and the membership who have been so terribly wronged as I have. We have the truth on our side and will fight our corner all the way, I know that this is causing huge undue distress upon my unborn baby but it is for that baby above all that I continue this fight.

I firmly believe that the BNP can be salvaged but certainly not under the current leadership. We therefore call upon all members and supporters who believe that important changes must be made to improve our image, to strengthen the foundations of democracy enshrined within the parties constitution and a total overhaul of our obscure and rather chaotic finances, to write, email and call the chairman and the party manager to make their own voices heard.

Paranoia

Rather appropriate given the events of the recent month which are just the tip of the iceberg.

Paranoia is an unfounded or exaggerated distrust of others, sometimes reaching delusional proportions. Paranoid individuals constantly suspect the motives of those around them, and believe that certain individuals, or people in general, are "out to get them."

Paranoid perceptions and behaviour may appear as features of a number of mental illnesses, including depression and dementia, but are most prominent in three types of psychological disorders: paranoid schizophrenia, delusional disorder (persecutory type), and paranoid personality disorder (PPD).

Individuals with paranoid schizophrenia and persecutory delusional disorder experience what is known as persecutory delusions: an irrational, yet unshakable, belief that someone is plotting against them. Persecutory delusions in paranoid schizophrenia are bizarre, sometimes grandiose, and often accompanied by auditory hallucinations. Delusions experienced by individuals with delusional disorder are more plausible than those experienced by paranoid schizophrenics; not bizarre, though still unjustified. Individuals with delusional disorder may seem offbeat or quirky rather than mentally ill, and, as such, may never seek treatment.

Persons with paranoid personality disorder tend to be self-centered, self-important, defensive, and emotionally distant. Their paranoia manifests itself in constant suspicions rather than full-blown delusions. The disorder often impedes social and personal relationships and career advancement. Some individuals with PPD are described as "litigious," as they are constantly initiating frivolous law suits. PPD is more common in men than in women, and typically begins in early adulthood.

The police raids - an update!

Over the past three weeks, we have all seen an unprecedented amount of support for those BNP Party members and activists that finally dared to stand-up and question the true merit of Mr Griffin’s leadership. This swell of support has not, as was hoped by Mr Griffin, lost momentum and gone back to tediously trudging along behind him through fear of being ‘purged’ and unconstitutionally cast out of the Party like so many others.

The support has in fact crystallised, as people have had the time over the Christmas holiday to reflect fully on the revelations that have exposed the true despotic nature of Mr Griffin.

One example of the level of contempt he has for his minions, can be realised fully from this quote he made at a recent meeting in Leicester while answering Sadie on the top table ‘Look girl, you’re about to be a mother; so you’re now effectively useless’. A little glimpse of his true colours I believe.

Police tactics

In my last post I wrote about the police raid and the person I believe is responsible for its instigation. At the time of writing there was one fact that I was unaware of. While Sadie’s and my home was being searched, Essex police were busy too; putting the front door of my flat through with a battering-ram.

This I only discovered when I visited my flat last Friday (28^th December) to remove the last few belongings I had left there, and drop the keys off to the estate agent so potential buyers can view it. The large round dents on the outside of the door appear to have been made by a police battering-ram, the door itself has been cracked in two down the middle and the architrave and locks smashed. It would seem that I would now have to take the flat off the market for a while until I can afford to get the quite considerable damage put right. The only actual indication that told me that it had been the work of the police was the search warrant left partially screwed-up on the sofa. I hadn’t even received a call or any message from the police to tell me that they had executed the warrant and left my flat unsecured.

It’s interesting that since I posted on this blog that the police had raided Sadie’s and my Nottingham home, a few people have suggested on various other blogs and chat-sites, somewhat bemusingly, that I have lied and the entire event was a mere figment of my imagination. Although I refuse to be drawn into lowering myself to openly arguing with the bewildering twittering’s of cranks and oddballs, I still feel it is necessary to prove just how insane these theories truly are. I have therefore included with this post scans of the actual warrants left for me by both the police forces at the two addresses. If anyone, namely Lee Barnes, believes that I somehow received these documents from extraterrestrials orbiting in outer-space, or MI5/Special Branch/James Bond/Danger-Mouse (delete as appropriate), created them for me in order to fool you all; please feel free to contact Nottingham Police yourself and simply ask them. The number for Nottingham Police - 0115 968 0999. The Freedom of Information Act should ensure that they will confirm the date, time of my arrest and bail.

It is also interesting how so many ‘experts’ on law and police procedures have been posting on the web insisting that where firearms are concerned, the police will always smash down the front door, while abseiling down the chimney and crashing through the kitchen window wearing balaclava’s armed to the teeth at 6am. Well this is not Hollywood or The Bill, and while a few ‘cyber-warriors’ out there tend to live in a fantasy world, the reality is often very different. (Sorry to break the bad news to all you specialists out there).

Search warrants

Before the police raid a home with the intention in executing a search warrant, they will always make a thorough check as to who is likely to be inside when they arrive; this is standard practice as any officer involved will tell you. They do not like to make work for themselves and cause unnecessary stress; especially were pregnant women are involved. They want to get the job done as cleanly and as efficiently as they can. Their checks would have shown that Sadie is a well respected Parish and Borough Councillor with a completely clean record. Sadie does not have so much as a parking ticket to her name and she also has a very good working relationship with the local police; not something that happens that often these days.

The police would also know that, I too, have a completely clean history with no record for violence or anything that would give them cause for concern. When I left the RAF over ten years ago, it was with an exemplary discharge; I am simply a law abiding taxpayer and they would have known these facts. The police knew exactly who they were dealing with, so they left the commando boots and Heckler & Koch’s at the station, and simply knocked on the front door. Essex police smashed open the door only, I suggest, when there was no answer from inside.

I have been nothing except 100% truthful from the very beginning; I have nothing to hide from anyone. Anyone that truly knows me will already know this and is already behind us all the way.

You will notice on the warrant documents that I have censored a few details; this is necessary solely for reasons of legality/security.

A warning to us all

As I have stated in the past, these police raids were not simply an attack on Sadie and I; this was an attack on every single member of the British National Party that regards the freedom to voice their opinions in the Party as sacrosanct. Unless we, the active life-blood of this Party, stand together determined, and absolutely insist that Griffin listens to the wishes of the membership, we risk the Party becoming little more than a less significant version of what we despise the most; the big-brother regime.

One final point

It has also been brought to my attention that a few people are under the impression that I’m not actually writing these articles myself. Who these people believe is actually writing my articles is beyond me, but in order to set the record straight, I can confirm the following - Yes I did go to school, yes I have spoken, quite well so I’ve been told, at a great many Party meetings, yes I have had articles printed in Identity Magazine and yes; I can even write using joined-up handwriting. (I guess these are dizzying achievements for an ex-Griffin Gorilla, after all)

The survival of the British National Party is now solely dependant on just how swiftly the membership and support base can fully remove the blinkers of deception and lies that have been pulled over their faces. I for one will work ceaselessly towards achieving this in 2008.

Griffin lies about dodgy mailings

Yesterday we got a few calls from worried members because they received ‘unsolicited’ extremist literature through the post from a PO Box address in Hull that belongs to one Simon Sheppard of Hull.

Yes, the same Simon Sheppard who distributed illegal racist leaflets in the name of the BNP with David Hannam back in 2000. Both Sheppard and Hannam received jail sentences for that offence. We had a post on this blog entitled “Hannam pleads guilty for a change” which was removed in an attack by the BNP’s criminally minded ‘Intelligence Department’, but we will attempt to find it again, they used Sadie’s stolen personal computer to access the editing section of the EiE blog and pull this posting.

The literature is very anti-Semitic in nature and is without doubt illegal. The first few calls we got were from people who destroyed and binned the mailing straight away because they suspected they were being set up for a police raid, because multiple copies of the literature were sent with a letter asking them to distribute the items. Our advice is to do as the callers did and shred the vile filth and then put it in your recycle bin or better still make a police complaint and let them investigate the source.

Griffin’s latest attack on the BNP loyalists is to claim we are all disgruntled Nazis with an anti-Semitic agenda (as well as being left-wing collaborators – I wish he’d make his mind up!). His rant will have absolutely no effect on anybody who has had dealings with any of the sacked/expelled BNP loyalists because officials and members know we have been at the forefront of ensuring cranks and extremists don’t taint the BNP. At least one of those officials listed on this blog as our supporters is Jewish too, so why would a Jewish official support supposed Nazis? The truth is they would not and we are not!

The couple of threads on the BNP forum have included claims that the BNP loyalists have sold a form 3 database to the crank Sheppard – including one with a direct quote from Griffin to the Forum Administrator to that effect. This claim has been repeated by Griffin on the BNP website for all the world to see in another example of his inadequate management style. He did not research the situation beforehand, nor did he seek to question anybody outside his unaccountable clique before he shot his mouth off again.

The Griffin cabal version is just more propaganda from their ministry of lies. BNP loyalists would have nothing to do with a crank like Sheppard and for Griffin to claim we have sold members details to him is not only preposterous but downright dishonest.

Hannam database leaked

There were initial suspicions from BNP loyalists that Sheppard used the leaked ‘Form 3’ database from November 2006. This was the Form 3 database that David Hannam sent to David Shapcott unedited, unencrypted and to a non-BNP e-mail address when Shapcott was distributing the FSID DVD magazine for the BNP. Hannam used to get a full copy of the Form 3 database for his regional treasury work. Shapcott was getting the database from Hannam without having completed a form 3 – data protection form - himself for the FSID job or without the knowledge of the Head of Administration. Had he completed a Form 3 and had it authorised by the Administration team he would only have been entitled to receive an edited version of the database specific for the task of furnishing branch/group organisers with the relevant funds in their regional accounts with a copy for their group i.e. names and addresses of these organisers only. Party procedure had also been for any database to be sent encrypted at all times as a security measure whether by e-mail or posted on a CD. It was also party procedure that databases could only be e-mailed between official BNP e-mail addresses again as a security measure and that the use of web hosted e-mail accounts on the likes of Hotmail and Yahoo were to be discouraged even for general use.

Sadly all three of these procedures were ignored by Hannam as he sent an unedited and unencrypted copy of the Nov06 Form 3 database to Shapcott at his Hotmail account rather than his official BNP e-mail address. The following month Searchlight published a complete breakdown of BNP branches, groups and contacts that matched the database Hannam sent. We are not saying either of them leaked the database directly but Hannam breached Party security procedures (not for the first or last time!) including delivering to an unsecure e-mail account. Whether by accident or design that database fell into Searchlight’s hands because of Hannam’s incompetence and wilful dereliction of duty.

The matter was raised by Kenny Smith, Ian Dawson and Sadie Graham at an Advisory Council meeting but dismissed by Griffin. In fact, Collett was one of the first to leap to Hannam’s defence and attempting to dismiss the need for using secure BNP e-mail addresses and the encryption system at all. Despite admitting his guilt in an e-mail to Kenny Smith and Ian Dawson, Hannam escaped disciplinary action for this most serious breach of party data protection procedures.

The recent ‘Mad King Nick’ mail shot from Searchlight used that specific database. The evidence for that lies in the fact that those with multiple entries received mailings for each entry. People on the database in November 2006 (and some since removed from it) got a mailing but those who were added later did not. People who had moved house got them at their old addresses.

When another AC member raised the issue again with Griffin after the ‘Mad King Nick’ mail shot but it was again dismissed as Griffin absurdly tried to blame one of the BNP loyalists for leaking info to Searchlight instead.

The initial breach by Hannam and the supporting evidence for it being the database used in Searchlight and by them for the ‘Mad King Nick’ mail shot was not previously publicised to avoid damaging the confidence of officials with regard to the safe keeping of their personal details. However, given that Griffin is now happy to concoct a blatant lie to tie in the raving mad mailings of an anti-Semitic crank with we who have spoken out in defence of the membership and the modernising approach, we feel the truth should be aired.

Mystery list

Supporting evidence to show that the Sheppard mailing was not connected with the Hannam leaked Form 3 database or any other Form 3 database however, exists in the fact that people who have never appeared on any Form 3 database have received copies of his vile mailing. There are also anomaly’s that we cannot answer like why did one of our councillors receive the Sheppard mail in her maiden name when she has never been a member in that name and never had contact with Sheppard before? One person who got the rubbish received it at an address they left almost a year previously. Some people who have never stood as candidates or had their details in the public domain have had mailings while others who have, have not. In short, we don’t know what list the nutcase Sheppard is using, but it not a BNP membership list or Form 3 database. We found that out after just a short investigation. Griffin didn’t even bother doing that before he jumped on the BNP forum to blame us and then onto the main BNP website to deliver a New Year message that will do more to damage the BNP than those he is now so determined to destroy with lies.

None of the sacked/expelled BNP loyalists would leak or sell any BNP database to anybody inside or outside the party. In fact, Kenny, Ian and Sadie in particular have been the biggest advocates of tightening of the party’s security and data protection measures to ensure that such things don’t happen despite opposition from some other senior figures within the party. Other AC members will be able to verify this, which makes it even more telling to us that Griffin would now make such ludicrous a claim.

We BNP loyalists are defending ourselves with one arm tied behind our backs because we don’t want to destroy the BNP. Griffin however appears to have no conscience and is willing to say and do anything regardless of how it damages the BNP in his paranoid lie-filled rantings against people he knows full well are not just loyal party people but true modernising nationalists. He has already told people that he has it within himself to rebuild the BNP if he has to destroy it to destroy us. Those are not the words of somebody who has the best interests of the party at heart are they?

Expelled for exercising his right to free speech!

Mick Simpson (Leeds Branch) has asked me to pass on the following message. As you read it bear in mind that Mick is not only a nationalist of twenty years standing but he was also a member of BNP Security team protecting Nick Griffin and others for some time.

Having spoken out verbally against the top table at the recent ‘Griffin gang road show’ meeting in Leeds he has now received a letter stating that he has been 'expelled' from the party.

Mick told me that he would gladly have taken a bullet for Nick Griffin, as he was proud to be part of the team looking after him. However, he is now angry and disappointed at the way he has been treated. He has been expelled just for exercising his right to 'free speech' within the party at a meeting that was supposed to be about being honest. His expulsion stinks, as surely this party, if no other, is supposed to defend 'free speech' not expel those who practice it.

There are rumours others who have spoken up for the BNP loyalists at meetings have also received letters expelling them too. If that is the case, please let Kenny or Sadie know about your ill treatment.

It now appears that if you speak against 'any' party official or party decision at internal party meetings you are to be expelled for daring to do so. This is totally wrong. The BNP should be better than that, should we not? We are different to the other parties, we have nothing to fear from debate or have we?

To cap it all, Mick has this morning received a begging letter for cash for party funds, which really rubbed salt into the wounds.

A Proper Organisational Structure

It was a post put up on the Green Arrow website that finally tipped me over. This is the paragraph that did it.

" The BNP by all accounts committed the enormous sin of recovering some of their property from a disgruntled former employee. And having worked in the IT business, I can tell you this. Anyone facing the chop is allowed nowhere near their PC or desk. Anything could happen. Client lists go missing and bogus letters sent out. ""

I can’t let this attempt at a Ministry of Truth whitewash stand without answer. I tried to respond with a comment that was similar to what I say here, but Green Arrow has comment moderation on, and has not allowed my comment through. So instead of appearing as a Green Arrow comment to be read by a few people, it’s found its way here, cleaned up and properly posted where many more people will read it.

About myself: I’m nobody special. I’m just a minor party official – fundholder in a small BNP Group. I have never had any intention of seeking higher office within the party, or standing for any elected public office. I am content to make my own small contribution as a fundholder, with a little sideline as BNP Election Agent for my town, and the occasional talk at our meetings, leafleting etc. So probably, nobody will miss me when I’m gone. What I say now though still has to be said.

Where to start? … They bugged someone's private conversations. They used deception to gain entry to someone's home. Their HOME! They removed property the ownership of which is disputed. They read private correspondence (even IF the computer belongs to the party, the private correspondence does not) including correspondence between an elected councillor and her electors - nothing to do with the party. They published some of said private correspondence where millions of people could read it. This is ALL illegal. Any single one of those things can get you jailed.

Who’s “They”? Seemingly, our own party leadership and its Intelligence Department.

They (or somebody - personally I think the Security Department, but that’s just my opinion) wasted police time by alleging Matt Single had an illegal firearm and forced a pregnant woman to endure having her home and belongings gone through with a fine tooth comb. I’ve been on the receiving end of that; it’s not pleasant and leaves you feeling violated.

Then there's the bile Lee Barnes has been spewing out: Julius Streicher would have been proud of it. I fully expect to now be on the receiving end of some of it. C’est la vie.

But worse than all that is the lack of sound judgement displayed by the party leadership.They seriously misjudged by making it all so public. I spoke to Kenny Smith about this blog: up until the day the details were published on the BNP website, EisEn had had only a few hundred hits after a week in existance; since then it has had almost 30,000 visits, probably including every journalist in Fleet Street, the local press nationwide, and the BBC, Ch.4, etc. What does anyone think we're going to get hit with in next year's London elections? Same stuff again in the following year's Euro-elections; same again in the general election the year after. And every election as far forward as you can imagine. Do you think the media hasn't noticed it all? They haven’t said much, but that’s only because they’re saving it up to hit us with it all at more sensitive times. And they will.

And I'm not even going to try and defend Young Nazi and Proud on the doorstep or to journalists. There’s nothing that even can be defended about it or him. He’s an ongoing liability to the party. He opens his mouth, and, if there’s a journalist around he promptly puts his foot down his throat. He couldn’t discredit the party more if he deliberately set out to do so. What will you answer when someone asks you “If you don’t support him, why is he still part of your leadership?”

And how could anyone even attempt to defend an "Intelligence Department" headed by ex-S. African security personnel? Who knew the BNP even had such a department? Have you ever heard of Pastor Neimoller? Do you understand the implications of what he famously said? Just ask yourself: who's next?

It's not a matter of what you think, or what I think, or what any other party member thinks - it's what the British public is going to think when they read it all in their papers and see it on the television, at election time, which they will. They quite simply will not vote for us in anything like large enough numbers for the BNP to make any sort of difference to our country. The BNP is going nowhere for the foreseeable future, and it's going nowhere anytime at all as long as Naziboy is up there anywhere near the leadership.

Do we really want a BNP government, or are we just playing games? Because if you want to one day govern this country then you'll always be disappointed as long as people like Collett, the Intelligence Dept. and Lee Barnes are all high up in the party. And this is not restricted to just them: they are named as examples only. This party is not electable as it is - it has neither the structure nor the personnel in place. Kenny and Co. were trying to make this party electable, that's all - and look what they got and are getting for their trouble. There are some things the British people just will not vote for no matter how angry they are. Somethings they just will not tolerate. Go ask a German. What we've seen this past few weeks is one of those things. And we claim to be the clean party, the party of integrity. They certainly won’t vote for a party that looks like it has instituted a Geheimestaatspolizei. And it really will look like that once the press goes to town on us at election time. After all, it has the evidence.

Supposing the BNP did win an election, I suppose we can guess who would be Prime Minister (well, maybe); how about Chancellor, Home Secretary, Foreign Secretary, Transport Secretary, Agriculture and Fisheries, Health, Defence, Education - and numerous other departments large and small? We don't have the organisation, or the people who know enough about either these departments of government nor about how the civil service runs. So people who know nothing will get appointed to all these and other positions on a cronyism basis - and the civil service will run rings around them. And nothing will change. The public isn’t stupid and can see this. Why vote for a new government if it isn’t going to lead to change?

So why don’t we have some equivalent of a Shadow Cabinet in place? People elected by the membership to form an inner core leadership of the party, at least one person shadowing every government department, a couple more studying the workings of the civil service? The elected party chairman to be no more than first among equals, with one vote equivalent to the other ‘Cabinet’ members when it comes to policy decisions? This would probably comprise somewhere in the region of twenty people, and elected not appointed by the chairman. Sure there would be arguments, sure there would be rows. Then they’d be settled on a ‘Cabinet’ vote, and all would then follow the party line. Collective responsibility. That’s how politics works. Look at us right now – just look: journalists have a question about defence policy – Nick Griffin answers; a question about environmental policy – Nick Griffin answers; Education – Nick Griffin, Immigration (Home Affairs) – Nick Griffin… do I need to go on? We are a one man band. Shouldn’t we have spokesmen and women for each policy area; these spokesmen to be the individuals shadowing each government department. Our experts. The people who will make us look like a potential government. I’m not even sure we should bother with general elections for the immediate future: not because we won’t win but because we’re not in a fit condition to win.

That’s just a first draft sketch, if you like, and by no means a definitive prescription for what we need. But it’s a start. We need something because what we have isn’t cutting it. Why aren’t we at least talking about it? This has been and is a deficiency in leadership.

And what little structure and knowledge we were putting together has just been either removed from the party or has removed itself in disgust. Because the young men and women doing it had the temerity to tell the leader where he was going wrong.

I will be renewing my party membership in the first weekend of January. That same day I'll be resigning as a fundholder and election agent. Nobody will miss me. I’m not vital. But that’s the whole point, isn’t it: no single person is vital in any properly functioning organisation. Not me, not Mr Collett, not anyone. However, having a proper organisational structure is vital.

And we don’t have one. Most of the people capable of creating one, and who were trying to do so, have been expelled or have resigned.

Confusion reigns about membership status

We have been contacted by a number of Organisers and Fundholders who have publicly stated their support for the expelled officials asking where they now stand with regards to BNP membership.

An astonishing notice was posted on the BNP website on the afternoon of December 22nd, incredibly demanding that any official who had made a posting on the EiE blog or declared their support on this blog must phone Nick Griffin and pledge their allegiance by the evening of Christmas Eve, December 24th.

Whoever is advising Mr. Griffin these days clearly doesn't live in the real world. The poster failed to take into consideration the time of year. Most officials would have been preoccupied with preparing for the festivities, not glued to their screens for the latest diktats and threats to be posted by the increasingly irrational coterie of advisers. Furthermore the threat of expulsion has not been followed through which is a disaster for the leadership team.

To date no one has been contacted by the Party Leader or his cabal of advisers by post, phone, email or text confirming their status. Has the deadline been extended? What are the new terms and conditions? Will officials who posted their support on the EiE site but who have had a change of heart, have to bend one knee and kiss the back of Nick Griffin's extended hand, the cringing humiliation all to be captured on BNPtv? Perhaps the threat of expulsion has been completely rescinded as the cabal realise the gaping hole that would leave across almost every region of the country at a time when the Party is desperarlty needed by our kinfolk and our communities.

Hallmark confusion

It is yet another example of the confusion, muddled thinking and disastrous decision making that is the hallmark of the current administration who have made mistake after mistake in this whole sorry and totally avoidable debacle since day one. Starting with the unlawful removal of personal property from the home of Sadie Graham; the expulsions of other officials by email and text; fabricating evidence allegedly taken from the stolen computer which was posted on the BNP web site and blogs of Griffin's advisers; the rolling road show of the cabal which ended in chaos and scuffles at Leeds; the folly of the Party’s very own Press Officer announcing to 4 million BBC viewers that the BNP had quashed a rebellion of "hardline neo-nazis"; the attempted framing of Matt Single by getting the Police to raid his homes. It has been three weeks of utter confusion and mayhem and reinforces the growing view of many in the Party that there is a lack of leadership at the very top. Nick Griffin has been personally badly wounded by this debacle and the Party has suffered as a consequence, but there is still an opening for him to demonstrate his integrity and honour by acknowledging the mistakes made with a view to reinstating the memberships of those wrongly expelled, a commitment to overhauling the Party structure and dealing with the underlying internal issues. There is still a hope and furthermore a universal desire by the entire membership that the Party can survive this mess, draw a line and move on.

A Party dogged by uncertainty, Police investigations, expensive legal cases being drawn up, senior Party managers and officials expelled merely for trying to make sure the Party thrives and prospers; this is not how single sincere BNP member expected to see 2007 come to a close.

2008 promises to be an excellent year for our Cause with plenty of opportunities to show the British electorate that there really is a choice at the ballot box and that their votes should go to the BNP. However that promise can only be fulfilled by each and every card carrying member demanding answers from their “up-line”; their branch, unit and regional organisers, to the pressing questions of just what on earth is going on, why has the current leadership acted in a wholly tyrannical manner, expelled the very people who have helped build this Party to its current level of professionalism and acted completely against the ethos of the Party which, after all stands for democracy, freedom of speech and is opposed to tyranny.

Questions

Why has the current leadership refused to deal with the underlying key issues of Party (mis)management and constantly tried to defend the indefensible actions of individuals who have brought the Party into disrepute on repeated occasions?

What hidden secrets lie behind the relationship between these notorious individuals and the Party leader?

Do not the generous and trusting donors to the Party deserve to be told the truth?

Do not the hard working foot soldiers, those courageous and dedicated souls who knock on doors, leaflet in all weathers and suffer the brickbats as well as the bouquets selling the Party message at every opportunity deserve to be told the truth?

Many questions, but will any answers, truthful answers of course and nothing less, be forthcoming and if those questions remain unanswered it further demonstrates a thorough contempt by the leader towards the rank and file activists, the very same key people who have backed the leader time after time to advance the appeal of the British National Party to the wider electorate and who are now the ones on the front line of the tyrannical purge of those souls who dare ask questions and bring issues which have been festering for far too long into the open.

The widespread support for change has been truly phenomenal, caught those of us who demand and rightfully expect change, off guard and we have been briefed that the calls for change have personally wounded the Party leader. Whether those personal wounds can be healed and the leader emerges with some integrity and honour intact or whether those wounds have been mortally inflicted, the next few days will tell.

One thing we all know for certain is that imminent change is inevitable and nothing will be the same ever again.

Awaiting Leadership?

Thanks to all of the concerned people who have contacted me over Christmas to offer support and advice.

I would like to clarify my immediate plans, which may go some way to answering a few questions on this blog site. I will not join a new party, I will not join an existing party and I will not be bullied out of the BNP without a damn good fight. There is no plan to start another party, there never was. If I am expelled from the BNP (unless I already have been and the letter is on its way – anything goes these days) I will work in my ward as an independent nationalist. I will continue to help my friends obtain leaflets and training – and I will fight my campaigns with my good friends beside me.

I will make it clear to my voters that I am undertaking action to sort out the thieves and thugs in the BNP, and once that is accomplished, I will cross the floor and stand for the BNP, vindicated and assured that we are a party of decent values. Our ideology is sound, our plans good, and our goals sensible and achievable. In short, it is not the party we take issue with, it is the management (well mis-management).

To the supporters of common decency and a clean BNP – forget what names we call ourselves, it is irrelevant. Don’t look to Sadie alone for leadership, a proper and natural leader will emerge – now is not the time to pressure people into enforced positions. Look to yourselves. You should be taking the time right now to contact everyone you know and persuade them that we need to clean up the party.

You can start thinking how an independent campaign could work. A Boxing Day surprise!

Nicholla and Kenny are delighted to announce the arrival of Mhairi Jean at 7.30pm on Boxing Day weighing in at 8Ib 6oz.

Beautiful Mhairi surprised us all by arriving fourteen days early, but everything went well with the birth and mother and baby are doing well today.

Thank you to all those who have already sent in their love and good wishes. Nicholla, Kenny and Mhairi very much appreciate the fantastic support you are giving them.

Our Christmas Message

Dear Reader

Thank you for calling by. To mark the Christmas period as from today, 24th December we will not be making any further postings or publishing any comments on the subject of the internal issues facing the current BNP leadership.

We do so in order that peace and goodwill can descend on the houses of all involved over this special period that marks both the birth of Christ and the ancient pre-Christian festival of Yule. Whether Christian, atheist or pagan this is a time of reflection, celebration and joy, especially for those with young family, it should be a few days enjoyed by all.

As nationalists we should never forget what is at stake; the issues of the past few weeks are not about the jobs of a handful of individuals and their families, the career paths of aspiring parliamentarians and councillors, the issues are fundamentally how the BNP can survive every challenge and overcome obstacles thrown at the Party by the liberal-left opposition so that we as a unique people can not just survive but flourish and prosper in these our island homelands.

As 2007 comes to a close we face a mighty struggle. A cultural war is being waged in our classrooms and our media, a physical war is being waged in inner city housing schemes and a demographic war is being waged in the maternity wards of our hospitals. We haven't got the luxury of internecine battles while those that would destroy Britain and the British people are gaining strength every week, every month.

We call upon the BNP leadership to cease the character assassinations and spend the Christmas period in quiet reflection.

We further call upon the BNP leadership to postpone the threat of expulsions of office holders which was posted on the BNP web site on Saturday 22nd December. Many office holders will be spending time preparing for festivities with their loved ones and not avidly glued to their computer screens. There is no purpose to be served in demanding a decision on this of all days from those who have given many years service to the BNP and the longer term Cause. There is too much at stake.

We send our good wishes to every sincere, decent nationalist who strives towards a happy, secure and prosperous future for our kinfolk and our nation. Each and every one please have a merry Christmas and let's trust that we can all come out united in the opening days of 2008 to give the corrupt Old Gang parties a series of election battles in a year to remember.

I may have been kept in the dark and fed on s**t but I am not a mushroom!

I have not been part of the ‘in clique’, drinking club or any other circle Nick gathers around him - so I simply digest what is placed before me, as do the vast majority of party members, our supporters and opposition alike. Some information I pursue, some I ignore as propaganda, and some I skip over – we all have our own approach to internal news/propaganda.

What Nick and his team of intelligence gatherers have overlooked is this very fact. We are in the dark, we only saw what was on our own BNP website, and we reacted accordingly. We are all free thinkers, and are not inclined to be easily led; the very reason most of us joined the party in the first place. In the absence of any other information I did not sit in a vacuum, I made the most informed decision I could – and that was based on our own web article.

The next most logical step for me was to ask Nick to explain things in person. This was duly organised, and the first ‘road show ‘was presented. I had expected a debate, an argument and even a few temper outbursts – the fiasco that unfolded did nothing to restore my confidence, and all I came out with was the knowledge that I had looked Nick in the face and told him how I felt.

In the aftermath of a very solid backlash of protest, the party leadership hasten to lay before us proof of all manner of intrigue and skulduggery. Trying to justify the illegal actions that the party has been involved in simply makes matters worse, and turns those ‘on the fence’ into members who resign, or resist.

I feel the current situation we are in appears to be based on unresolved internal conflicts. This combined with a succession of incidents have led members to feel dissatisfied with the quality of party management in the past few months. I believe there is too much emphasis being placed on the Collet/Hannam/Sadie/Kenny problem which distracts us from our real concerns, which include the following

1. The leadership challenge – I signed Chris Jackson’s nomination form, and was very surprised to be told by a fellow activist that this was a bad idea, because ‘nobody who signs Jackson’s nomination will get anywhere in the BNP’. I go out every year as a candidate, knock on the doors of complete strangers and ask them to sign nomination forms for me – am I to be such a hypocrite that I will not sign one for a BNP member? There are too many members who fall in to the whisper campaigns for fear of reprisals – even now, there are members who tell us that they do not want to resign, but support us privately – what kind of a party is this? Who are they scared of?

2. Jonathan Bowden’s resignation and the circumstances surrounding it left many members feeling uneasy - mostly because we keep losing members of his calibre .There is also a widespread belief that Nick could have intervened in the website that was set up to defame Jonathan. (Yes, even although the authors were not party members. Nick does after all seem to have a number of non members at his beck and call… our legal chaffinch for example).

3. The leadership victory – I felt the Identity magazine article, and subsequent blog comments about Chris Jackson and his supporters to be appallingly bad management and not worthy of Nick Griffin. We are a democratic party: we allow for leadership challenges in our constitution and when the election is over we all have to WORK TOGETHER. How do you achieve that by calling leadership challengers vermin, and having members feeling threatened?

4. The late submission of accounts to the audit commission – I had regular donors telling me they were not prepared to sink any more money in to the BNP while we accumulate fines by the day. There is a significant loss of confidence in the Treasury Department.

5. The road show/pantomime – the very fact we need one at all must be indicative of widespread grumbling.

6. There is no room for criticism of leadership decisions any more. Nick and his henchmen expect blind loyalty without question. Loyalty also lies with those who are brave enough to try and save you from your follies.

As to my membership suspension – I shall write to inform the party that I will attend a disciplinary tribunal – given that my expulsion has been publicised on the BNP home page, “I expect a fair and open trial before being hanged.” The resignation letter which I circulated is attached below.

Nick has claimed he undertook all of these actions ‘for the good of the party’. I claim the same privilege. Let’s clean out all of the rotten mess, kick out the thugs and thieves and move on as a decent nationalist movement.

I would like it to be known that party security does not have my permission to enter my home. Not even if the door is open. Not if the wind changes direction. Not if the cat blinks twice and definitely not if I am not there.

Commercial Plug

On to a more practical note – I did offer to help Arthur Kemp with the sourcing and distribution of the ‘Muhammad Bears’ – this was a brilliant political stunt, and I was delighted to hear that we had sold over 90 in the first day. Arthur was astonished at the sales, but together we arranged for the purchase of some more teddy bears and prepared to fill the order.

The unfortunate announcement by the BNP press officer that I am in the ‘hard line neo-Nazi’ clique somewhat diminished my desire to offer any further assistance (also the idea of being ‘set up’ also crossed my mind – funny how that happens when you are out on a limb).

I subsequently find myself the owner of rather a lot of fluffy bears! Now those I purchased on my own credit card, and have not been refunded for. They are mine (John Walker please note) and I would like to sell them on to raise some funds for the Family Defence Appeal. The protest bears are for sale via eBay at £4.50. For each bear we sell I will take £1 to cover my own costs, I will donate £2 to the appeal the rest is for p&p.

“Statement to North West Members and officials

Dear Friends

In the last week the BNP has been thrown into turmoil over the incredibly bad handling of an internal discipline problem. There are many tales, rumours and finger pointing doing the rounds and the opposition are using every opportunity to use this against us. There is much made of plots, sabotage, infiltrators, spies and secret agents – paranoia abounds!

In brief, Cllr Sadie Graham, the head of group development, and Kenny Smith, head of administration were removed from their posts following an investigation by the BNP's "intelligence team" which recorded a conversation on her phone and then tricked its way into her home (the neighbour let them in, thinking they were there to collect newspapers) and took away computers and other office equipment (some of which was her own personal property).

I do not know what the circumstances were that culminated in this action, nor do I believe it to be particularly relevant when assessing the damage caused to the party. Simply put, if we are the kind of party who resorts to bugging phones and stealing from our own members, then we are no different from the rest. The added stupidity of blazoning this across the front page of our own website is staggering. We then compound matters further by reading private emails that her ward members have sent her.

Nick Griffin was invited to an emergency meeting with North West officials last Wednesday to explain what has happened. I do not accept his explanation that we can justify these actions ‘for the good of the cause’. The cause IS good decent family values among our own kind.

I have decided to resign all of my official party positions to Mr Griffin this evening, but retain my party membership. In doing this I join David Jones, Richard Chadfield and more than 50 other organisers and officials who have decided to take strike action against this situation and demand that sacked officials are re-instated immediately so that the issues can be sorted out behind closed doors. We will then be able to continue our electioneering with a very strong moral advantage.

So far I have not given my side of the story in this whole sorry mess. I haven’t needed to because my reputation for financial probity, dedication to the cause, professionalism and hard work precedes me in parts of the country I haven’t even visited yet.

This is not a big-headed boast but a reality borne out by the testimony of so many other well-respected and dedicated party officials and members as well as quite a few people who have argued or fallen out with me in the past whether for ideological or management reasons. In fact, the majority of people in that later category are people who have been miffed at my pedantic and fastidious ways when it comes to financial matters.

I have also held back because I don’t think the party’s dirty linen should be aired in public and I hoped that a resolution could be reached in short order. However given the dirty tactics employed against Sadie and Matt, more than me and the others who today stand accused and expelled for speaking out against management and leadership failings and the deranged and conflicting lies thrown out this week by people I once called comrade, I now make this statement.

I have been a loyal BNP activist since 1992, a local official since 1995, a regional one since 1997 and a national one since 2004; though strangely left off the list of national officers in the 2006 statement of accounts. My efforts have always been to improve the performance and electability of the Party and I believe I have been successful in every post I have held in this respect. I was also the first party publication editor to openly endorse Nick Griffin as a potential leader of the BNP after Scott McLean and another BNP Scotland official convinced him to join the BNP and help us breathe new life and a modern way of thinking into the BNP. I still believe we did right in that respect.

The Problem

However, somewhere along the line Nick has become beholden to one individual who has caused more bother among colleagues and embarrassment for the party than any other figure in modern British nationalist history. Many colleagues of more wisdom and experience than I have tried as I have to get this situation – as well as other internal failings – sorted within the mechanisms that exist in the party i.e. the Chairman, the Deputy Chairman, the Advisory Council, the Party Manager and more recently the new Central Management Team. Regardless of the evidence presented or the judgements of these bodies and individuals, Nick has always attempted to protect this plague on our party.

I don’t know the reason why Mark Collett seems to have Nick by the short and curlies, but it is the reason for this current situation.

In September Nick gave Sadie Graham and myself ultimatums to stop presenting evidence of Collett, Dave Hannam and John Walker’s incompetence, lies, failure to work with other colleagues, deliberate attempts to hinder other colleagues and general negative behaviour internally and at public events. We were basically told that they are protected and if we didn’t like it we could clear off.

This was despite the fact that he thought that we had been excellent employees, with unblemished records and work hours that would exhaust your local second generation corner shop proprietor. To say I was stunned was an understatement, but after discussions with him in my living room it became clear that he did not understand the situation fully and when he and Arthur Kemp left both Nicholla and I felt it had been a positive experience and that many of our complaints were going to be addressed.

Sadly two days later we came crashing back to reality when Nick reversed his own decision from the Saturday and that of the CMT to back Collett when he refused to send me items I needed for my work. Since then I have felt that there has been a concerted effort to have me pushed out of the party.

Sadie has already explained the situation regarding the cancelling of our double-header seminars at Conference in November, but her modesty stopped her revealing what Nick told us on the Friday night there and confirmed in front of witnesses on the Saturday night. Just as I’m not shy to speak my mind regardless of the company, I don’t think I should be bashful in repeating them here. Nick said that despite the fact that my department was almost 100% effective and Sadie’s not far behind and despite the fact that neither of us had hampered anybody else’s work within the party over the years or brought negative publicity upon the party, that he would get rid of both of us and keep the other three regardless of the fact that he admitted that the three were either incompetent, liars or both. Such a statement defies logic, but that is what the man said on the Friday and confirmed to others when it was repeated on the Saturday. Such logic, in my humble opinion, suggests that he does not have the best interests of the party at heart.

Separating the wheat from the chaff

So where does somebody go from there? You know there are problems and they are mounting but you are being forbidden from bringing them to the attention of those who could and should act to fix them. In frustration I chose to gather public information highlighting the negative impact of Collett and Hannam on the party in one place. I weeded out the lies and misinformation and just left the facts. I did it anonymously and did not broadcast my efforts beyond a select few.

Then the knock at the door from 3 cowards from Cumbria at 10.40am on that Sunday morning as I prepared for the Scottish Regional Council Meeting that was due to take place nearby later that day. They issued my heavily pregnant wife our letters. We read them and told them we rejected the accusations, the sackings and requests made in them for us to co-operate with the goons on our doorstep. The three accusations made against me were not the same as those made against me on the new BNP website, which appeared shortly after the knock at the door. I told Griffin’s goons they should leave. They threatened to force entry to retrieve goods they could not identify and were told that I would protect my home, my wife and my unborn child. After a call to Martin Reynolds, Clive Jefferson then told me they would not try to force their way in because of Nicholla’s condition. By this time however they were under surveillance by a BNP Scotland security team who would have ensured the thugs ended up in custody had Reynolds' conscience not been pricked.

As the events of the day unfolded I could hardly believe what was happening. Sadie’s home had been bugged. Her home entered by deception and her personal belongings stolen. Our alleged communications broadcast on the main BNP website for the entire world to see. The abusive and insulting texts I recieved from Hannam and Walker.

If we ignore the illegal bugging, home raid and theft – hard I know but let’s pretend – if officers of the BNP had been caught breaching the code of conduct by setting up an anonymous blog then the party should have acted in the same way it did when Collett and Hannam were disciplined for bringing under-age girls back to the Conference Hotel in 2006 and demanding that they have sex with them or f##k off! That is to say the matter is dealt with internally and the accused given a disciplinary hearing! The last thing that should have been done is for the matter to be broadcast to the world via the party website.

Then in the days that followed the lies increased, I was a thief, a red, a neo-nazi, the person responsible for the Treasury problems, the ringleader of a ‘palace coup’, the architect of a plot to shut down the AC and the voting membership scheme, attempting to destroy the BNP and set myself up as the leader of a new party in Scotland. For the record, each and every one of these accusations is false. They are lies and smears spewed out by a cabal of yes-men - and in some cases individuals working to their own agenda - on the orders of Griffin, because I dared to stand up and speak out against management and leadership failings within BNP that are holding us back.

One in particular is so damaging I am still find it almost incredulous that it was done. Simon Darby went to BBC Newsnight and told the world we were Nazis. How can reconciliation take place after such a smear? Earlier this week attempts to resolve the situation and bring about a return of the BNP loyalists to the fold broke down, but can you imagine the field day the media would have about the BNP re-admitting Nazis to its fold. I do hope for an amicable resolution to this current situation to ensure the BNP continues, but somebody has got a lot of explaining to do on that one first.

As I said before I do not know what Collett has on Griffin, though it must be good when even a threat of turning Queen’s Evidence at the first Free Speech trial didn’t dull Griffin’s defence of him, but I do know that the sacking of Sadie and I, our partners and the other brave people who have spoken out about this situation are being made scapegoats for events that took place at the start of the month and which would have gone someway to resolving the problems we and others have been complaining about for three years in some instances.

On Tuesday the 4^th of December the CMT recommended the sacking of Collett and Hannam after Griffin had agreed to them receiving a verbal warning for their latest transgression of the code of conduct. The reason they recommended expulsion was two-fold. Firstly, because under the terms of the Constitution and the terms of the ‘final warning’ they received for their failed attempt at paedophilia [The offence was not mentioned in the confirmation letters to avoid bringing embarrassment to the party, though as it is now in the public domain I need not hide the fact now] and secondly, because it was Griffin’s big chance to get rid of the millstone that had been holding the party back for some time now and creating problems within the internal management structure.

Griffin’s reaction was not unexpected. He slapped the CMT down and laid the blame at the feet of Sadie and myself instead. My letter of sacking was actually dated the 6^th though it was delivered on the 9^th and despite communications with him during that time, he didn’t even have the courage to bring the subject up with me in person, just as he had never mentioned two of the issues he cited in his letter sacking me either.

I should mention at this juncture several points that should be stated here on the Collett and Hannam ‘final warning’ which was meted out to them for the disgusting behaviour at the 2006 Conference. They only got final warnings because Griffin refused to let them be expelled. The disciplinary panel of Scott McLean (then Deputy Chairman and Disciplinary Officer), Nick Cass (then Party Manager) and Steve Blake (then Web Editor), AC members all, accepted the pairs guilty pleas after the evidence was stated. Now however the Griffin cabal are claiming the confirmation letters were never sent and that the word files are manufactured and therefore the findings of the panel are invalid, so his permission to give them a verbal warning should mean their expulsion. Well according to ACAS (Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service), the important factor is that a disciplinary procedure took place – even you cannot deny that one. The letter matters not a jot. In fact, the only way the decision of the panel could have been reversed was if a formal grievance procedure had been raised by the guilty pair in reasonable time after the decision was made and ACAS also say that a year later is most definitely not reasonable time. So the pair should have been expelled on the 5^th of December 2007 according to Griffin’s verbal warning decision, the CMT, the code of conduct, the Constitution, the BNP disciplinary procedure and the advice of ACAS!

What now?

I have taken legal advice and therefore cannot comment in great detail on the accusations made against me. However I can assure members that I was not to blame for the late accounts. I did not steal any money and no party money was used to produce any bulletin. I am not a nazi – indeed I was winning cases via the PCC against newspapers refute this allegation against the BNP before Griffin even joined the party, I am not a red and I have never co-operated or dealt with reds. I am not an agent provocateur. I don’t want to be the leader of the BNP or become the leader of a separate party in Scotland, in fact at the Scottish Regional Council meeting organised that Sunday the agenda had proposals to re-appoint Scott McLean as Regional Organiser and Gary Raikes as Regional Secretary with me having the role of Regional Fund-holder, which would effectively have meant me dropping down two levels in rank in Scotland. I do want the legislative and the executive parts of the BNP to be separated though, with no dictatorial powers given to just one man. I don’t want the Advisory Council disbanded or the Voting Membership system binned, though I have always campaigned against there being a financial aspect to it – but thanks to Treasury incompetence that didn’t get enforced this year anyway!

I have evidence to back all of the above up and will be happy to co-operate with any of the alleged Police or Electoral Commission investigations Griffin’s cabal say they have instigated against me, but I have yet to be questioned about. I have made some evidence available to some national and regional officers and will make more available too if the need arises or time allows prior to any such investigations. I have raised a formal grievance with Griffin and the Party over my sacking and expulsion.

I have fought for the cause for over 15 years now, withstood attacks, threats and insults from left-wing opponents as well as right-wing extremists. I have bent the knee to nobody and will not do so now. I have always stood up for myself, the party, the members and our shared cause. I will continue to do this and more, because I will fight tooth and nail to clear my name and also to expose those prepared to lie and smear innocent comrades to meet their own selfish ends. A bad taste has been left in my mouth but that does not mean the situation cannot be resolved. I pray that it can be because I have worked too hard for too long to see the BNP destroyed by charlatans, deviants and liars.

The public support we have received has been fantastic. The enormous amount of private support has been in truth frustrating, because if everybody who agrees with us privately came out and joined us publicly, Nick Griffin may just realise that resistance is futile. That said I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart and particularly those who have supported the Family Defence Appeal at such a difficult time of the year.

Remember we are the majority, we are the membership, we want change and we must have it soon or this party we all love so dearly will crumble into the dust. For the sake of our children and those like my own yet to come I beseech you to be brave, to be bold like our ancestors and enter the fray. You can save the BNP with decisive action now.

Griffin’s political coffin nails

There has rarely been a time in my life that has made me feel so angry that I thought I was going to explode, Thursday 20^th December was one such day.

Sadie and myself live in a very pleasant and traditional English village called Brinsley in Nottinghamshire. It has some exceptionally genuine and decent people living there whose down to earth warmth and humour remind me so much of my roots back in South Essex. The community of Brinsley, for which I am very happy to say I am now a part of, extends into official office in the respect that my fiancé, Sadie, is a serving Borough Councillor on Broxtowe Council. I naturally support her fully wherever I can with the hard work she has always, and will continue to put into the community that she loves so much. Part of her area of responsibility is to liaise with the local police bobby and the police community officer, to discuss the concerns of the people in her constituency. These gentlemen, whom I have met several times are hard working and a credit to the Force. Usually these officers turn up on the spur of the moment to chat with Sadie; the last time I spoke with them was when they called and Sadie was out. We ended up discussing the local youth and police football team and whether or not I could make a worthy contribution to it. After I explained that I had all the footballing finesse of an obese blacksmith, the offer cooled slightly. I explained that of course if it were rugby we were talking about, it would have been a different matter entirely.

It was no surprise to me then, when at about 2pm last Thursday 20^th December, on hearing a knock at the door, I saw the uniforms of two police officers through the frosted glass of the front door. On opening the door I did indeed see what I had expected to, two uniformed policeman standing there; although these officers I had not met before. The first officer requested firmly but politely to come in, I of course had no problem whatsoever with this request and so stepped back to let them in. I immediately suspected that this was not going to be a friendly chat however; these guys were here strictly on business. The first officer in, a Sergeant, ushered me towards the living room and with that another half dozen police officers entered the house through the open front door. ‘Mr. Single’ He said, ‘I have a warrant to search these premises’.

Sadie came downstairs and we were both instructed to sit on the sofa, the Sergeant then went into detail about why they were here and what they would be doing. It transpired that the police had received, very recently, from two corroborating informants that I had an illegal firearm in my possession, and that they would be now carrying out a thorough search of the house, all outbuildings and vehicles. I was handed a copy of the warrant, it clearly stated on it that the search was to include every area connected with ‘Single’. This was personal and very specific.

Systematic search

What followed was a thoroughly mortifying and debasing experience as the eight strong police search-team and sniffer-dog systematically searched literally every single square inch of our home from top to bottom. We had to remain seated with one officer monitoring us, so were unable to observe what was happening, as police officers brought in a bewildering array of equipment. The sergeant with us was not an unpleasant man and clearly preferred to talk than to sit there in stony silence, as his colleagues rifled through our home. He explained that they had a job to do and they did not want to cause us unnecessary stress and said that they would make as little mess as possible. After we had begun to talk and I had explained that I knew who was behind this, he said to us ‘So we are being used as pawns in a political game then?’ I said that I was sorry to confirm that he was.

The search was a deeply distressing experience for Sadie as we watched from the sofa, officers take apart the kitchen and even search through the teabags. Considering the level of stress she has endured over the last two weeks I was amazed at her composure. This was in fact, the second time in two weeks that uninvited people were in our home invading our privacy which made her calm state all the more impressive.

After two hours sitting on the sofa with Sadie, I needed the bathroom, and was informed that this would not be a problem, except that a police officer would have to stand behind me. I made light of the situation as best I could as I have always found that humour, even under duress is often the very best way to help oneself through a tense situation. While I was upstairs relieving myself, I could see using peripheral vision the police in our bedroom going through our clothes and personal effects with plastic gloves on. I felt my blood boiling, but I never once let it show; I kept telling myself that these guys simply had a job to do and it was in everyone’s best interests, especially Sadie’s just to try and let it flow over me.

Four and a half hours later the search was complete; the Sergeant sat in front of us with a bag of items carefully labelled in evidence bags ready to be transferred to the station. I was placed under arrest on suspicion of having in my possession a pressurised canister containing a possible noxious but unidentified substance, handcuffed and led out to a waiting police car. After being processed at the station, I was led to a cell where I spent the next two hours waiting for an interview.

The interview started with my background and involvement in the Party, before moving onto questions relating to the contents of the numbered evidence bags that he began taking out of a large grey sack. Each bag contained one item of the many I use to train British National Party security recruits. These were all the items necessary for vehicle and personnel search training to equip security members with the necessary skills for events and functions such as the Red, White & Blue festival. I have used these training-aids countless times as many people will testify to. In fact I have trained Mr Griffin himself in how to search a car for improvised explosive devices. I clarified that all these items, along with radios, body armour vests, scanners and a quantity of other equipment, I had a legitimate reason for possessing. My interviewer was satisfied with my answers, and the interview was terminated and the bags of equipment removed. I was informed that the spray canisters are going to be sent away for testing to identify what they contained, because although some contents are perfectly legal, other substances are not which would then constitute an offence. I was released on bail to return back to the police station at a later date to see if I am going to be charged. I am confident that all the training-aids that the police seized are all perfectly legal and therefore I am not at all vexed or worried about appearing back at the station. The police were aware that I have a completely clean record with not so much as an outstanding parking ticket; and they realised that I was clearly not the gun-tooting thug that someone had led them to believe I was.

I spoke to my solicitor and he confirmed that police had certainly not found what they had been told by an unidentified informant I had in my possession. I finally got back home after 10pm, tired, very hungry, totally and utterly appalled that someone had stooped to such a level in order to put us through this ordeal. On my inspection, it was quite obvious that the police had gone through all our letters, photos, books and literally everything else. Although they had been good to their word and not trashed our home, it was very clear that not a single shred had escaped examination. Even one of the floorboards had been ripped up, although fair to say they did replace it afterwards once they were happy that I didn’t have any illegal material lurking under it. The only real mess was in the loft where chaos now clearly reigned with our belongings literally piled up everywhere.

Set up

It is my belief that whoever had contacted the police had set us up and had a clear and obvious objective; they wanted Sadie and myself as much to experience as much torment and humiliation as possible. Whoever it was has a good knowledge of the law and knew exactly what to say to the police in order to manipulate them into raiding our home. They knew they needed two or more people to substantiate such a claim to lead to a raid and so they would have needed to have used someone else to help them. It would clearly be a person that would know I would have quantities of security training equipment kept at home and I could therefore possibly fall foul of an overlooked law if I were raided by the police that would obviously scrutinise all my equipment.

It would have to be a cowardly person, without the bravery to confront me themselves, but they instead chose to waste hours and hours of police time that could have been utilised in making the streets a little safer somewhere. It would have to be a person so desperate to shut Sadie and I up that they would resort to the lowest and vilest tactics in order to try and do so.

Sadie was, until unconstitutionally sacked by Griffin, one our most successful councillors and Party activists and whoever orchestrated this spineless act against us obviously couldn’t care less about the impact it would have on her council position or the Party. To have a large police van, dog unit and two squad cars outside your home for four and a half hours with police everywhere, was also distressing for our neighbours and friends. They couldn’t get through to us to find out what was happening because during the lengthy search the police prevented us from answering our phones. I couldn’t actually be contacted personally until the following day as the police had seized my mobile, and only once they were satisfied that they had extracted all the information they wanted from it I was able to retrieve it from the police station.

Miscarriage risk

Whoever is behind this attack on us couldn’t care less for the fact that the amount of pressure on Sadie has been so great she risked, as any midwife will tell you, a miscarriage and losing our baby. Something this traumatic could have easily have turned our greatest fear into a reality.

Whoever is behind this is clearly a very desperate and sour man. He is not a ‘Red’ because I do not believe that they would stoop that low, as they have never made this type of attack before, and potentially others could do likewise to them in retaliation thus making it utterly futile. Whoever did this is not a ‘mole’ because such a person wouldn’t benefit from doing this as it would not provide a third party with any information because all seized items and paperwork remains strictly with the police. It was not committed by the ‘State’ to find out information because of the details the police told my solicitor and I after my interview. This attack I know came from one man, and he knows we know who he is.

Top suspect

So we know who you are; now listen to me.

It has come to pass that for years you have bullied, lied to and intimidated people into getting what you want for yourself. You have used tactics including character assassinations, lies and slander to rid yourself of your internal political critics, and those that offer any future threat to your position. This is the reason why you have actively sought to surround yourself with weak-willed sycophants and people who you can easily control and offer no threat to you whatsoever; people like John Walker, Dave Hannam and Mark Collett, even psychologically disturbed characters such as Lee Barnes.

However, the day you thought you could avoid for evermore has now actually arrived for you. You made a serious miscalculation when you chose to turn against us for doing nothing more than wishing to save the future of this Party. You are not a nationalist nor a man with any honour whatsoever.

We have not left the Party without a struggle as you hoped we would, unlike so many others before us. You underestimated our fortitude and the love we have for the cause of saving our land; and you grossly underestimated the level of support we have and are attracting daily. This support is not just from active Party members today, but many others you have wronged in the past; and there are a great many indeed.

Ordinary members and activists are now realising the lies in your words and are starting to see the true nature of the beast. Your ‘amnesty ultimatum’ is a perfect example of the inept, lumbering and condescending methods you use to ‘deal with malcontents’ that dare not bow down to you. You have thrown at us, the so-called “rebels” the most contemptuous insults such as ‘Hard-line Nazis’ and ‘Leftwing/Searchlight moles’ when it is clear that there has only ever been one extremist operating throughout this entire episode, and that is you. Even if a handful of people are duped and intimidated by your threats to unconstitutionally ‘purge’ them from the Party unless they grovel down to you by Monday the 24^th December; I’ll guarantee that over the following months you will personally see to it that they are all ‘picked off’ one at a time, like the spiteful creature you clearly are.

I call all members and supporters of the British National Party to treat this insulting threat with the contempt it deserves and totally ignore it. Together we can stand, fight and win back the honour and integrity of this Party once again. If we are divided Griffin will one at a time quietly snipe and ‘purge’ us all. We have all witnessed him in action before, and we will see it again, only this time it will be with even more venom, as he witnesses his power and cabal of weak yes-men finally begin to lose their purchase in the tower of cards that he has built for himself.

One final note to Mr. Griffin - We will not go quietly, we will not yield to your treacherous backstabbing, lying and intimidation. We absolutely will not stop until you have been shown in public without your mask, so all true nationalists and patriots around this country can see just how truly despicable you are.

Thanks to our friend who demonstrated yesterday how easy it would be for some South African flatfoot spook to alter the user identity and registration on a stolen personal computer, in an attempt to con people into believing that they were right to enter a home by deception and remove it while the owner was away, we now have another picture for you to mull over.

This picture shows the same jpg image as displayed on the BNP website, but in light of the date anomaly highlighted yesterday, our friend suggests there may have been an alternative end user!
