'Voice of Change' Website launched

A fully functioning web site www.voiceofchange.org.uk has been launched with its expressed aim to be the best and the most popular British nationalist political web site on the Internet.

Managed by Steve Blake who as web editor of the old BNP site played a key role in making that site the number one most visited political site in the UK, it will be the voice of modern nationalism embracing decency, honesty and promoting family values as key elements of our political platform.

International, national and regional news will be posted daily and the site will contain an archive of political essays as well as seeing the reintroduction of the highly popular “Your say” letters to the editor pages.

Joining Steve will be well known names such as Louise Scott, a former regular contributor to the web site and VoF, and seasoned political writer Kenny Smith and many other regional reporters.

There will also be a forum for discussion of all matters relating to the nationalist cause which, while recognising the need for moderation to ensure the laws of the land are obeyed will champion genuine freedom of speech. We already have a host of former BNP forum moderators ready to start having being sacked for voicing their support for free speech.

An online shop is already under development which will sell a variety of merchandise of political and cultural interest.

Steve Blake was a rubbish web desinger and held back the progress of the BNP site because he was rubbish and crap and now the new site is in better hands and will go further than Blake ever allowed it because he was rubbish.

Thanks for that abusive comment towards Steve. Articulate would not be a word I would use to describe your ramblings.

So please let me respond to your comment in a language you might understand...twat!

I never thought the old web site was great but it did the job and let's hope the new one does the same.

I look forward to having my voice back

Oh dear,
These comments from anonymous etc.
will certainly show themselves as the real rubbish and certainly the ones who hold back any progress.
The new website will be a breath of fresh air.

The BNP website rating is nose diving under it's new management(or is that mismanagement?)Web info company Alexa rates it at 119,107. I can remember when, Steve Blake was the web master, the sites ratings entered the 30.000's.
I believe it to be only a question of a relativly short time before www.voiceofchange.org.uk becomes the more popular site.

Could I make a comment. My understanding of the minutiae of electoral law suggests that six words are allowed on the ballot paper. In London in the early 1990s we stood as "British National Party - Rights for Whites" and this worked well.

So why can't we call ourselves, "Yorkshire British National Party" or "British Nationalists Party" or "East Midlands British National Party"??

It's a ruse, sure, but one that might be legal and instead of trying to take Griffin through the courts that way, and with the forthcoming elections in mind, wouldn't this be something of a winning tactic that would reduce voter confusion and actually tell our people who we are....

The old BNP site was not the best on a cosmetic level - I much prefer the colours and images of the new site bright feel - but the content of the old site was by far the best, and I must have read through the whole thing, including all (or almost all) the articles. The new site might look better in some ways, but I can barely bring myself to check it every other couple of days; it just seems bland and insipid. This announcement of the new site is great news, and I'm sure will do your cause much good!

Could that crude message from 'Anonymous' be just one example of what we are fighting to get rid of?
Rudeness is so unnecessary, and shows a weak mentality.
Rude people do not usually respect themselves, let alone other people.

The old BNP Website was amazingly good, especially when one considers the vast amount of daily work necessary to keep it continuously up to date. It was easy to navigate, and to follow the articles through. It was also aesthetically friendly to look at.
If the http://www.voiceofchange.org.uk/ website becomes as good, I for one will be well satisfied.
I believe that, as Millie said, 'The new website will be a breath of fresh air'.
Best wishes to Steve Blake.

The new BNP Website is awful.
The Forum is still heavily censored; a friend has tried valiantly to post quite mild messages of criticism!

MikeinEngland, thats a good,no brilliant, idea. Steve Blake, feel free to take any content you think appropriate from my blog.

Although I won't be offended if you don't. And if you think that is inflamatory, it is as absolutely nothing compared to what's lined up. Oh yes Nick, it is as bad as that, and you know I can do it.

Hopefully thousands of Cockneys will be introduced to the new website. Should take to the fresh editorial style like a tray of jellied eels, long before the griffin black propaganda hits the streets of the capital.

MikeInEngland and East Birmingham MP - Brilliant an idea though it be to suggest calling ourselves British Nationalists and Yorkshire British Nationalist etc., this has not been allowed since the introduction of The Registration of Political Parties Act 1998.

One of the reasons for the act was that Richard Huggett stood as a Literal Democrat in the 1994 European Elections. The name is so similar to Liberal Democrat that he took thousands of votes from them and let the Conservatives in. The liberal Democrats went to court but the judge said that under the rules at that time, Richard Huggett had every right to call himself whatever he wanted. Three years later, he entered as a Liberal Democrat top choice for parliament and polled 640 votes. The Liberal Democrat won, but only just.

Anyone standing for election would be well advised to read the act which can be found here on the government's website and which includes this passage :

3 Grant of applications (1) The registrar shall grant an application by a party under section 2 unless in his opinion it proposes a registered name which—
(a) would be likely to result in the party’s being confused by voters with a party which is already registered....

Now here's your typical "someone" just trying to spread some mischievious nastiness. Wonder why? I suppose we are expected to believe him to be a "Griffinite"? But it's much more likely it's one of the Anti-fascists gleefully trying to stir things up even further. If "Anonymous" could get away with it s/he'd be writing similarly on the BNP website just how terrible their new format is and how professional Steve Blake's new website was. Anything to stir it!

Just for the record. I find the new BNP site without proper form or focus. It is difficult to follow and lacks material. A great deal of valuable resouce has been lost from it as a result of their change-over. In short it's messy and uninspiring. By contrast Voice of Change has Steve Blake's unmistakeably clear and concise touch to it. In time it will develop into the sort of site the BNP used to have. Best of luck.

So what is this all about, are you a seperate movement from the main body of the British National Party, or in the process of becoming a seperate nationalist movement?

Voice of Change is not a seperate movement nor is it intended to become an alternative nationalist party. It is just what it says it is; a pressure group composed of BNP members to bring needed change to the internal party management structure. may I suggest that you attend the Voice of Change conference in Nottinghamshire on 27th of Jan. There you can place your questions directly to those leading the call for reform. Transport can be arranged for you.

Well it seems to me that the voice for change cannot sustain its self has a pressure group for change within the BNP. It seems that the voice for change is well on its way to progressing into a seperate movement, you cannot have a group within a group. I have seen on the internet hundreds of minor parties breaking away from the main body. Anyway good luck for the future of Britain.

I am proud to have my name associated with the new Voice of Change website, and great that there will be a forum, as I cannot stand the current BNP forum and have no intention of posting there again.

Anonymous - you are obviously totally ignorant - the BNP website (when Steve was running it) was the most popular political website in Britain, I was proud to be associated with it and resigned rather than work for an immigrant (and have you seen the standard of spelling on there now "Capitol" used to describe London for instance!! - hardly an improvement when the so-called writers cannot even write English correctly!) on such a cheap and tacky looking site.

I no longer write anything for the BNP, and that includes VoF. All my writing energies will be put into Voice of Change - hopefully Greatest Britons will be complimented by articles on important events (something akin to the Ieper feature posted on the BNP website for Remembrance).

If I stand in the local elections in Dukinfield in May it will be for the British National Party, I also have my concerns about people in the BNP but I will not be putting my name forward for outside the main body of the BNP. Roy West-Delivered 35,000 BNP leaflets by hand, 10,000 by post, every councillor in Tameside sent a copy of the Freedom newspaper, 20 members of parliament sent a copy of freedom, 5,000 leaflets on the way for my area, also a number of local newspapers sent copies of freedom.

Yes, it's rather ironic that the BNP, ostensibly the premiere champion of free speech and equal political rights for indigenous Britons, would run such a heavily censored and intolerant message board. Obviously things have progressed to the point within the BNP party hierarchy that any expression of dissent or any deviation from the official party line, as dictated by the chairman, must be extinguished with extreme prejudice. An associate of mine was banned from the BNP forum for simply commenting on the possible inappropriateness of a forum member’s Avatar which featured Nazi symbology. Such intolerance and strong arm tactics are worthy of the EU and British police state and the 20th century Fascists and Nazis to which the loyalists are so fond of comparing Kenny and Sadie. Yeah, a real Eva Braun that Sadie.

Many have been sitting on the fence regarding the current factionalism within the BNP, but with each passing day the incomprehensible intransigence and authoritarianism of the Party administration makes it increasingly difficult not to fall into orbit with the reformers or fall on one’s sword in blind obedience to the ‘leader’. Nationalism is about opposing the destructive insanity of the EU and its ruinous scheme of multiculturalism, not the cult of personality of any one man or cadre, no matter how important they may be or may have been to the cause of Nationalism. As Nick hunkers down in the bunker, the EU juggernaut continues its relentless push towards complete dominion over the British people and the people of Europe with scarcely a shot fired in defence of the realm as the chief defenders of British identity & freedom squabble among themselves over issues which should be easily remedied in a modern political organization.

I liken Nick Griffin to King John at Runnymede being coerced into signing the Magna Carta by the Barons. Only John had the good sense to eventually acquiesce to their demands. A political party is only as viable as its active membership, and a leadership which believes a political party is embodied in one man, is anathema. The clock is ticking both for the British people, and for the BNP administration. One way or another the reformers will prevail because the BNP cannot survive as a myopic, idiosyncratic dictatorship, but only as an organic movement drawing strength from the hearts, minds and energies of all patriotic Britons. Britons have never been very fond of absolutism. Better for Nick to meet the reformers half way as a compliant John Plantagenet at Runnymede; than a stubborn Charles Stuart at Whitehall.

My demise
Mon 4th Feb I was contacted by A. Marsden by telephone and informed that I had been suspended because of something I had said at a closed meeting in Kirklees. I had simply stated that under no circumstances would P Cromie allow Jim Lewthwaite or myself to stand at the next local elections.I have subsequently tried to contact Aidy to discuss my pending disciplinary but never managed to speak to him. On 19th Feb I tried to renew my membership but was not allowed to because of the pending disciplinary. James Lewthwaite who was suspended at the same time has received his membership.
Could anyone please advise me on what steps I should now take.

I like the new VOC web page and I liked the old BNP web page before it became neo cluttered, heavily sensored site it is now.
Griffin and Co lost their true sense of Nationalism after the free speech court case...proof of this can be found in the moderate line now taken against Muslim extremists, for example, removing a story about a 'Teddy Bear' because of a threat from a Muslim against a local councilor...in other words, we won't say nasty things if you - Muslims don't like it! Then, the sacking of those now running VOC because they didn't tow the Griffin line. Then...and this was the last straw for me, calling Nationalists who have different views from Griffin and Co (people like me)Rightist loonies working for the left no less! Griffin is doing all the lefty work himself...maybe he's working for the left?! Anyway good luck VOC!
