Countering a Treasury lie

A statement from Cllr Sadie Graham

An email that I allegedly sent from my personal email account to Steve Blake on the 4th December can be explained perfectly legitimately and can be substantiated by any of the East Midlands officials who attended the East Midlands Regional Council Meeting on the Thursday 29th November.

I requested from Dave Hannam, as I always do before a regional meeting, a full update of statements for every unit in the region. He sent them through to me about two hours before the meeting so I printed them out and took them along to the regional meeting. There they were handed out to each of the officials. As usual at the regional meeting there was an outburst of complaints from officials who upon reading their statements realise the glaring errors within them. These errors are often ones that were highlighted previously and they have already brought to the attention of Dave Hannam via email. An example was a £200 donation banked by Broxtowe on the 20th April that was to be transferred into the Ashfield account immediatley. Yet again on the November statement it had not been done despite numerous emails from myself to Dave about this. Along with this was complaints from East Lindsey who had not had the £160 banked on the 5th September credited to their account. There were many other complaints which I later relayed to Dave Hannam in an email sometime after the meeting. Some days later I received an email back from Dave along with a few supposedly amended statements. I took a look at them and could see straight away that the errors had not been done. Rather than yet again telling Dave that the errors were still there I just sent them out to the fundholders in the hope that they themselves would take it upon themselves to complain directly to Dave. At this time I already felt that Dave was making it extremely difficult for me to work with him and was refusing to answer many of my emails. I thought that the local officials would have better luck if they contacted him directly.

This is the truth behind this alleged email and anyone was had ever been a fundholder or local organiser will know first hand the difficulty in getting accurate accounts. All East Midlands officials will be able to back this up as they have been receiving bank statements at every regional council meeting and it is clear to see that none of them have been tampered with by me or anyone else. This is just another pathetic cover-up for blatant incompetence.

First off, why is this being released by Darby and not Griffin? And why are official internal party documents being released on Blogspot BEFORE any disciplinary hearing? Come to think about, I remember hearing from the party that we should not use Blogspot? I understand that makes me guilty as well, but then again, I am not "Deputy Leader". Is Darby YET ANOTHER official who is above party policy? Come on Darby, have some consistency! Seems like a bit of last ditch effort to sway opinion if you ask me.

As for your first statement, no it is not that self-explanatory. If these were amended by Hannam, then they are bound to be wrong. If that is the case, Sadie just didn't cover for Hannam's cock-ups. And besides, is this where you heading now? That EVERY mistake in the party was an elaborate ploy by Sadie? How stupid do you think the membership is? Who's side are you on, oh yeah:

Before I finish on this subject here I'd like to thank Dave Hannam and Mark Collett. Both of these young men have had enormous pressure put upon them, but throughout have kept their dignity, calm and more importantly their wits about them. Whatever differences they may have had with other officials they have not and never would employ the services and methods of our most bitter opponents to publicise them.

No Bias then mate?

I'm beginning to wonder if they aren't trying to destroy their own party. The legal ramifications and bad publicity that could result from this could be staggering.

Time and time again the issue of incorrect accounts came up at Regional Council Meetings, this is no breaking news to anyone that regularly attended these meetings. Money was sitting in incorrect accounts for months and I believe they still have not been corrected.

I have been a member of the party four over 4 years in the East Midlands and it has grown to be the best run region in the BNP, with one of the best structures.

On the other hand under a certain Mr Darby the huge parts of the West Midlands have been run down namely Sandwell and Birmingham. A certain Mr Darby played a pivotal role in removing Sharon and Steve Edwards, Sharon Ebanks and one of our best councillors in Simon Smith.

The question is who should people believe lazy unless Simon Darby or Sadie Graham who has put in years of hard work and has the respect of most BNP members in the East Midlands.

Bedworth is in the West Midlands yet it was people from Charnwood, North West Leicestershire that did most of the hard yards Simon Darby was sitting on his lazy arse swrewing his local party members in the back.

He is a bloody disgrace.

Aboslutley agree with u. When Wayne was constantly over in Bedworth missing out on precious time with his young family where was Simon Darby?

It is said that if you want to know the truth, follow the money.

Complaints about Collett are not new. Even setting up a website calling for Collett and Hannam to go should not have been that serious. Ian Dawson made devastating allegations and was forgiven.

But the BNP was in trouble over its accounts. Someone had been skimming the funds and the auditors found out. They refused to sign off the audit report. Griffin needed someone to blame. There was Kenny, agitating against Collett, and he had access to money, the perfect scapegoat. So Kenny was accused “of serious breaches of accountancy procedures leaving up to £17,000 unaccounted for in the 2006 Central Audit, and of a wilful neglect of the Excalibur merchandising operation constituting attempted financial sabotage”.

But the auditors weren’t satisfied. And the incompetent Hannam still needed to clear his name. Griffin needed more. So how about twisting an email from Sadie making it look like she had been falsifying bank statements for her region to ensure Hannam got the flak. Perfect. Members weren’t going to notice that Hannam’s mistakes were not limited to the East Midlands region. And anyone who thought it was a bit off for BNP heavies to con their way into Sadie’s home to nick her computer could now be pacified by the revelations found on it. They had killed two birds with one stone.

Sadie’s email had a perfectly legitimate explanation of course, which she has put on enough is enough, but which you can be sure the Griffin loyalist Simon Darby will ignore.

Kenny is not destroying this party and if you knew anything about what he had done in administration for the party then you would never write such nonsense. He took this party to a whole new level and the gold member scheme I believe was his idea, a way to bring in more funds to a party that desperatley needed them. So yes kenny is right 'enough is enough' it is time to save this party from the lazy organisers like darby who has watched this region deteriorate over the years.

I no longer trust anyone outside of my group and for that reason I'm finished with the BNP. There is no going back after what I've said.
Darby has proved himself to be a liar to me and those clowns that back him up are not worthy of our cause.

Samantha glad you agree on my post in relation to Darby being lazy.

I have been all over the country with people like Wayne and Sadie not once have I seen Darby pulling his weight.

Where I live Thurmaston is being infested with migrants, and this country is dieing a slow death.

This country needs nationalist party with clean image and most of the people that have resigned had a clean image and were hard workers.

The likes of Darby are not important.

Interesting to see Wayne Mcdermotts wife posting on here in support.

If you could get Waynes name up on your list that would carry some weight.

He is hard working and well respected particularly in the Midlands down to his election work.

He has given an indication of support on the BNP forum.
If you could just finish the circle with him, that would be a real coup.

His hand is weak if he's caved in this quickly, so I'd advise against backing down.

Hannam is useless. All the statements that he sends out are bloody wrong.
Then when you manage to track him down to tell him about it (no easy task as he never gets back to you) he does nothing about it - you just end up with another statement with the same mistakes on and more.

All other fund-holders that I know are of the same opinion.
The guy is useless - why would Sadie Graham cover up for him?

There is no one I respect more in this party than Wayne, no word of a lie, and most East Midlander's would agree. Just remember, wayne has other duties in the party. I don't feel it is appropriate to encourage individual members, by name, to resign. You will be putting people into uneeded hostile terrain.

You have lied and lied very badly on your blog.

"Darby wrote:

No actually it was Sadie's personal computer not the Party's, removed under questionable circumstances.

Sadie is still a card carrying member not "former".

The email is a fraud, I never received it and I am prepared to seek expert witness advice that this was never written by Sadie at the time and date you claim it was written. The email header is flawed, it is a copy and paste job by someone who thinks he knows a bit about computers but has failed to observe the "bleeding obvious"!

Ok, here goes, when X sends an email to Y, X has to compose the message and then send his message through his own ISP.

This is what a real OUTGOING email message header looks like (I've included a few extra "X's" to keep my own valued client confidential).

If Sadie was posting her message to me the only info would be as my above posting, it would not show the identity of the RECEIVING server. You've been duped Simon by some very persuasive characters but people who have no loyalty to Nick or to the greater cause.

Why defend the indefensible? Every fundholder in the Party I have spoken to in the past 30hrs or so seems to have at least one complaint about Hannam and that's why they are quitting en masse. You do realise that there will not be a functioning Party in a few days as office holders are either publicly quitting or declaring regional "UDI".

"Darby wrote:

I agree, the actions of people I once considered friends and colleagues are truly astounding. You saw fit to publish my personal email address on your blog. You saw fit to publish Sadie's personal email address on your blog. Why have you done this? Why have you posted a fraudulent email.

The header has been tampered with, i.e. the subject of "Re: gem....." had been falsified.

If you have an ounce of decency Simon you will pull that posting. Bloody hell Simon, I am trying very very hard to find some way for everyone involved to emerge with some credibility and integrity, I've fielded at least 20 calls today from our colleagues and comrades looking for answers. Not one person wants to see the BNP suffer and everyone remains 100% behind our democratically elected Leader.

Your blog posting, if not totally illegal (as was the posting on the new BNP web site of a bugged conversation between two office holders) is very suspect.

I thought you had more honour than this Simon, I really did.

Another sad day for the Cause but we all do reap what we sow.

Nick agrees he did some silly things in the past. There is no remorse for letting things get this far, no regret for resorting to such underhand and illegal actions, no realisation of the damage Collett and Hannan were doing, or his part in creating this mess. We also praise other party members who have taken the decision to back Sadie and Kenny, and condemn, unreservedly, the decision to dismiss them from their positions.

All Doncaster members will be notified of our decision, our reasons for reaching this decision and the circumstances surrounding it.

We would like to take this opportunity to reiterate our belief that the British National Party is run by, and for, its members, and that consultation and acknowledgement of that membership - rather than a favoured and select minority - is paramount to a healthy and democratic party.

THE POWER OF THE NATIONALIST GRASS ROOTS is now being shown and felt. Who needs incompetents like Hannam, posing pratts like Collett, spoon-in-mouth Tory toffs like Nick Griffin and obvious freeloaders like Simon Darby?

Now it is our chance to seize the moment and create a radical Nationalist movement focussed entirely upon the strength of the grass roots and local action. I remember one Steve Brady writing an article titled "All Power to the Branches" way back when and it seemed a good idea then and whilst not a fan of his he had some tactical ability although much of it was misdirected.

The point is that the best, most meaningful political efforts and sacrifices are made locally but when you have a corrupt core of wage-earners and bloodsuckers taking from the hard-working membership problems inevitably emerge, which is why we desperately need a Federation of British Nationalists that can make a difference to our people's lives minus the self-proclaimed leadership elite and its arrogant, centrist Intel-led gang.

Griffin is worried but his time has passed and now we need to move on without a central, penetrable, unresponsive and self-serving national leadership under State control that is now more interested in its collective bank balance than its fighting membership...and the future of our people and our land.

Why is it that every time the BNP appears on the verge of a massive breakthrough something happens to halt the progress we deserve and expect?

Theory - Griffin and Darby are state plants who are positioned to bring Nationalists together to enable the the state has a handle on what the "far right" is doing and the threat to the political status quo is managed and contained. Consequently every time we are on the verge of the big-time we are sabotaged. Now, more than ever before we should be breaking through and with the general national feeling moving our way Griffin and Darby cannot control it, so what do they do? They destroy the very organisation that could make a difference.

Where are the accounts? Griffin and Darby should sack Collett, Hannam and Walker and then resign. This process can be managed.

If this doesn't happen the BNP as it was is no more and we must yet again start from scratch - perhaps that is what we must do. The BNP is dead, long live the BNP!

Some excellent points, Mike. I've still got those Steve Bready articles and I will be copying some as they still have relevance today. At this stage in our development, the party nationally should be there to support local efforts rather than the other way round.

Incidentally, I have been told Martin Reynolds says he was "just following orders". The 'leadership principle' has got to go.

Sadie you are being stitched up and, if you don't call an EGM soon Griffin will get the better of you. The BNP are today sending out letters to the entire membership, what lies about Graham and others will they contain?

So the BNP has lost 10 plus % of its councillors and Nick is having a giggle with Martin Wingfield. Nice to know that he's taking this seriously.

E. N. Ronn said...

Just how is Sadie (or anyone else) supposed to call an EGM? Under the authoritarian constitution that Griffin inherited from JT, it isn’t possible to do that without the chairman’s consent. Somehow I don’t think that Nick’s consent will be forthcoming.

NG’s plan is to isolate Sadie, Kenny and their closest friends, and localise the revolt in Scotland and the E. Mids., hoping that something (for example a good result in the FLA elections in May) turns up before the BNP finally goes bankrupt, or the Electoral Commission prosecutes Walker for not filing the accounts (which will be the next crisis to overtake the BNP).

It’s up to the decent people in the BNP (and especially the councillors and branch officials) to support the dissidents by all lawful means.

I highly doubt that fighting on from inside the BNP is going to work. One of Griffin’s rigged tribunals will expel the dissidents, and leave them to take expensive legal action against an insolvent organisation that will never be able to pay their costs and a man who takes good care to have no assets in his own name.

The alternative is obvious, if unpalatable to some who are not keen to strike out on their own. My answer to that is that loyalty should be first to the cause, second to comrades, and lastly to an organisation.

Anonymous said...

"NG’s plan is to isolate Sadie, Kenny and their closest friends, and localise the revolt in Scotland and the E. Mids"

That could prove difficult given that Leeds Bradford,Doncaster,Scarborough and Huddersfield all in Yorkshire have already expressed their interest.
